Yeah 'the bare metal look 's pretty good and works out for him in dry California ' but I dont think it would be viable in a lot of other places. Also you would think there would be concerns about what rust might be forming under the body trims'(maybe it's painted under those).

Maybe the mechanic that put it together could shed some light. A lot of work was overlooked that most wouldn't notice. One thing that was interesting, did they use clear seam sealer? I didnt see any on the walk arounds, custom trim details, patches etc. Again, would have been nice to hear from the people who did the work. Top notch truck

No paint. It’s bare metal. He coats it with oil once a month to preserve it. Sorry for a lack of info on the trans
