- Riley is 19 years old. An hour ago she walked out of her house in a very good mood. She went for a walk, and in a couple of hours she was to meet her friends. While standing in line for an ice cream, she noticed that some man was staring at her from around the corner. He was wearing black shaggy pants, a black hoodie and sunglasses. Even though it’s hard to recognize a person dressed like that, she was pretty sure she’d never seen him before, and he looked… suspicious.

Mall parking lots are dangerous places. Park as close as you can to the buildings and in well lighted areas where there are more people around. Always be aware of your surroundings. I saw a guy following me as I walking toward my car, and I walked faster, then he did. It was early in the evening, and starting to get dark. I noticed a group of well dressed people who looked like some friends going out to eat. I came up to them, and sort of signaled with my eyes and whispered that someone was following me. They caught on quickly, and I joined their group, strolling and chatting. After awhile, when the person had disappeared, they escorted me to my car. I will never forget their kindness.

That's why you should never lose hope in humanity even though they do a lot of bad things.
Sometimes, stalkers won't always walk behind you. Its more common for them to casually cross in front of you wherever you go. Some kooky guy did this to me at a library. However, I finally got rid of him by going into the lady's room.

There was this one time I was sitting in the parking lot waiting for my friend to grab the milk when I noticed a girl a few meters away talking to a guy looking really suspicious and the girl also looked very nervous so immediately knew something was wrong. I left my car and went up to her and started acting like her friend and said "hey girl what are you doing here? I thought you were gonna meet me in the store?" I said and looked at the guy who was just staring and I asked him what was he doing and I kid you not he said "I was just asking her if she has a cat" I just grabbed the girl's wrist and asked her if she wanted to meet my friend in the store and she yes looking really nervous. Both of us bolted into the store to see my friend about to check out, the girl's actual name was Sooyoung, and to this day Sooyoung, SunWoo, and me best friends and whenever we tell anyone how we met they're always so shocked

I have been training since I was a kid with my dad on self defense and my dad used to be in a gang so he knows how bad people think he knows what kind of things they will do and what to watch out for. Just a tip from experience if you ever see someone or a shadow of someone Infront of your window don’t move. Don’t talk. Don’t yell. And most importantly don’t leave the room. This allows the potential threat to see you are aware of their presence instead get on your phone and text your mom or dad and if your older text the police or one of your friends or your parents to. You never want to go to the window to check if someone’s there because if you can see them they can see you. Most criminals check out the place a couple times before making a move so if the person leaves don’t think your safe. Go stay at a friends house or better yet have someone pick you up. This makes it to where if the criminal leaves you know your in danger call the police and let them know what time the criminal has been showing up around your house or have a family member stay at your house for a while if the person wants something to do with you they are going to get irritated and either leave or act out. You want the person to act out. Let them break into your house. Because then you have the advantage. Go to the farthest room away from the break in. And lock every door you go through. That makes them have to go through more doors. Take this time and call the police. The person will get arrested and you won’t have to deal with them. They all ready know that you are aware of them so there is no use in being quiet. the locked doors will buy you time. You want the police to understand you very clearly. Another thing is always befriend your neighbors they are the ones that will get to you the fastest they will deal with the intruder while the cops are on there way. Comment if this helps anybody!

Belive it or not my mom met my dad because of this❤️ my mom and her friend were walking in the mall when a stranger followed them they tried going into the girls bathroom to shake him off but this stranger waited outside the bathroom so she and her friend dashed out the bathroom and went to the nearest store they ended up in a pet store and looked around and yes the stranger was there then my mom saw a man by the fish tank helping out a little girl he looked kind enough so she approached him and said “hi long time no see so this is were you work huh!?” My dad looked behind her and saw that a guy was staring straight at her so he replied “yha hehe this is embarrassing why dont we go to a cafe?” He said so they went to a cafe (mom said it was awkward) they stayed for a while and finally the stranger left. Once the cost was clear dad whispered “you girls ok?” Mom nodded then they exchanged numbers and that is how my mom met my daddy!☺️

I live in Europe and i was alone in my local store.and when i was leaving to go home, this girl about 18 yrs old came up to me and started acting like i was her brother, i am currently 17 and i realised that she was worried because she was shaking. And we walked talked i asked her did you follow to my instagram?as i wrote: “is anything wrong?”She nodded. So we were walking for hours i saw a man in a blue shirt that was constantly following us. And i kept talking and as we crossed the road i decided to turn back and say something to him. He then pretended to go. Then i walked this girl home because she was really scared she seemed so and i said goodbye to her.
