Black telephone and wooden table .. wash board .. blue and white plates .. loved Your haul and the Lily of the Valley flowers on the blue vase so sweet

That 1st sale had ridiculous deals!!! I would've bought that Beverly Wiltshire Hotel headboard as soon as I walked in! The prices were super low! I can't believe that 2nd sale had all those MCM pieces just out in the elements. Some of those pieces are worth thousands when refurbished & maybe even as is. The MCM sale is a gold mine!!!!

The first sale was nothing short of astounding, sooo much good stuff! I went broke pretending to buy it all... the 2nd sale was also full of astounding stuff but after a couple minutes I had to fast-forward... I was almost in tears! I absolutely abhor it when people have 'cool old things' and then just leave them out in the elements to rot. Yes many can be restored but preserving the original finish is so much better!

I love to shop in resale, antique and consignment shops. I consigned most of my furniture and decor when I retired and moved back to Texas. It sold quickly and for really great prices which made paying the consignor 50 percent tolerable. I have been looking for local consignor and they all seem to charge 50 percent. They hold 3 months and if it doesn’t sale you can either pick it up or they will donate it. Each month it is there there a price reduction as well. The ones I visit have so much inventory turn over so that means that most stuff sells in the first 30 days.

8:06-8:10 that would be so beautiful too hang up on a wall. I would paint it white and in the open area put flowers hanging from the wall. I would do lavender, baby breaths. For a antique French Country theme for your home. Or you can hang the flowers from the same nails you use to hold the frame to the wall. Just will have to make (the flowers) longer so that they are not to close to the frame. 🥰😍 you find the most beautiful items.

I spotted the Hall teapots at the second sale. I used to have a huge collection of those but I decided to sell them back in the 90's. They fetched a pretty penny and I used that to buy more great stuff!! I was into furniture then, Victorian and the more decorative and over sized the better!!

That brass Ganesh sitting on conch shell statue at 10: 37 is selling for$1280.00 on Poshmark. It is rare. Ganesh is the elephant-headed Hindu Indian god who is believed to clear obstacles and pave the way for us to move forward in life.

That hobnail piece looks like Fenton Topaz Opalescent. Shining a black light on it should produce a lime green glow from the uranium in the glass. It is worth learning about collectable glassware. I once bought a bowl for $50 I was sure was a rare color. Checked my books when I got home and verified it was what I thought. Sold it a week later for close to $600.

Hi there from Ohio!! The mid century dishes are 1940's Homer Laughlin China company Harlequin pattern, same company that makes Fiestaware. The factory is close to my house. Love your videos. Good luck picking!

The two bowls at 14:09 look like uranium glass, the only way to tell is if you shine a black light on it and it glows, They look very pretty. I always carry a black light with me when thrifting/ going to yard sales just in case. They sell for a good price so if you can get them for cheap it's a steal.
