A tip for anyone..if u are doing alot of layers of dip..I recommend doing activator every 2 or 3 layers...so that it hardens all the way thru. And you don't get any chunks coming off when filing or gummy areas that didn't fully harden. ❤❤❤❤ I agree with lisette tho...Dip isn't as good as hard gel or even acrylic 😂😂
I love dip powder they're so quick and easy, maybe you should start out with a short set so that you don't have to build up the apex. As you already know practice makes perfect and really cute🥰 😊
Hey Sis, Thanks For Your Beautiful Videos. They are Very Helpful and Entertaining and Educational, Amazing, Interesting, Plus more. Again. Thanks😊❤ You Goo Sis.
When my kids where younger they loved watching kids making slime, playing fun guessing games. That's awesome your supportive of your boys starting YT...❤
Awww their video was entertaining. They are off to a great start. Evie has a great tutorial on building up the apex with dip powders. Your first try came out looking.
You did really good on these Lissette. I love it. I’m definitely loving the colors. I’ve tried azure products before and i love it 🥰 they’re really good
@Lizzette, you and another nail content creator should do a segment when you do each other nail even though you guys don't really do nails on clients. That would be fun to watch.
Girl dip powders are hard and messy but your the queen of gel nails so I have no doubt you could be the queen of dip to just keep practicing you will get there babe ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Seems like a really good kit! That's a ton of colors for the price too 🌈 I think you did great for a first timer, it's definitely a process but you'll get faster every time! I really love your attitude and your sense of humor, "I'm Puerto Rican" took me out 😂😂😂
Hi "Lissette" I think because this is not a medium you are use to working with it shook you for a little bit but as you always do luv you took the "BULL" by the horns and you "CONCORD" that thing very beautiful thanks for sharing and showing much love always 💅💕💕💕
Hey girl! Awesome to see the twins branching out and having fun like their mama does on youtube! One thing I've seen some kids ppl do is flash up an email address for video suggestions or an Instagram and have people reach out with questions or suggestions for videos on there? Maybe u can set them up an email account or something and monitor it for them and maybe make a list of any suggestions that come in? Once they get a little pool of subscribers ❤
You’re so sweet Dito I swear I feel like I wanted to be there with you to help you out. It’s OK I think you did an amazing job for your first time. Just keep practicing like with everything practice makes progress.❤😊❤
For dip vids I recommend Marla Kriss. She pretty much only does dip. You getting dip flu?!? lol you cracked me up a lot in this video! I think you did good!!
I'm a Dutch Bros person. I know it hasn't gotten as far as the East coast yet. So you probably don't know but best coffees, teas, energy drinks and the personality of the baristas are top notch.
Azure Beauty are my preferred dip liquid company, though I tend to use other companies for powders. And yes, you can activate and then go back in with base and more color.
To me there is a little bit of a learning curve with the dip powders (that's just me) Yes I'm a Dunkin girl all day and there are lots of Starbucks near me I just don't like it. I enjoy watching your videos I always learn something new.
If you don’t like dip liquids, you can use gel. I prefer the gel method with dip powders because of the smell. You can use more layers after you file, depending on the liquids you’re using. That’s another reason why I prefer working with the gel method. Dip liquids are harder to work with than gel, in my opinion. And gel gives you more time to work so you’re not stressing about getting the powder on before the base dries.
Same here dip was included in my nail course, we used a brand called nsi and that used gel with powders and you just cured in between layers, way less smell and I found them stronger aswell.
@@riciahmohammed1114 use gel base, pour powder over the wet gel, cure. Repeat until you’re satisfied with the layers. Then encapsulate with a layer of base gel, followed by a layer of top coat. Then you can file to make sure the shape is good, get rid of any bumps. Then top coat.
You had me cracking up when you opened the wrapper with your teeth , it’s so true sis. That’s how we do lol. I don’t do dip either but you handled it like a champ thanks for sharing sis❤
Azure dip powder works like a charm with liquid monomer. The biggest key to successful application is a thin application of the #1, use a timer, it says in the directions to wait after application between layers.
I’m allergic to acrylic and gel (yes it sucks) so the only thing I can use anymore is dip so I have become quite savvy with what I can do with dip. You can create an apex with dip but there is a technique (tons of YT vids showing how) and you also should activate every 3 layers or so that way all the layers cure.
These are cute, and I laughed along with you throughout. I tried dip twice years ago and didn't like the process either. I find it's just too much work and can't take the smell of the liquids - like monomer for acrylic... I just can't deal! Nice kit though. Thanks for sharing!
as i am currently suffering from contact dermatitis from a nail product I had never used before, I seriously hope you were alarmed by your reaction to this product, and took it off fast, it so scary to hear you were itchy and your eyes were running, because that's how mine started too
Girl I'm super messy with Dip! I normally will apply it as acrylic the problem with that is once the powder is mixed with the monomer the colors will marble. But my first video using Dip was so messy!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hey, I like them... i do dips on myself but with gel method with base coat. I dont like using all the liquids (step1234) lol.... i might try this....tfs!
the same concept with reg acrylic goes with dip powder as well. use a clear dip as your base for strength then do a couple layers of color dip and then finish off with clear dip again for more strength and to protect your color when filing and buffing 😁
Heyyyyy girl! 😘 I tried their dip but haven't uploaded it to my channel yet... my kit wasn't this big though... that one comes with tons of stuff! Lol flipping us all off 🤣 😂 The channel says unavailable 😕 My boys want to do RUclips too! I say let them as long as you're monitoring them! The glue makes my eyes water really really bad too kinda why I quit doing dip as much... I prefer gel x with poly or gel overlay or acrylic
Omg your little guys are so precious XD Maybe they could make videos of them building things like lego or testing outdoor summer toys. I know there are like, science experiment kits, that might be fun to film. Or cooking, kids cooking or baking things (supervised of course lol) is a great time! The only thing I'll suggest against is pranks, NO PRANKS, never, for any reason. I know I probably wouldn't like the dip nail method; I'm a big snob now and only use your products because they're just so darn fantastic lol But I could see maybe using the dip powder for sugaring techniques or mixing it in with clear hard gel to make different colours/textures. If I was wanting to build a nail with a powder I'd just go acrylic style tbh.
Hey Girl, you can actually just use any brand uv gel base coat and regular clear or colored acrylic powder for dip method to build and encapsulate.. Much easier and you can you the same layer method as well. I think its KC Nails that does all the dip nail art tips and tricks for dip nail art.
Yes correct. I already have a video up using gel and dip. wanted to stay true to this box and use what they gave since they did send it to me. You can watch the other video here > ruclips.net/video/5kfc2PkACfo/видео.html 💕
I def suggest cleansing nail before going into your gel base then matte top coat because you may get separation of your gel and dip or possibly a funky reaction
Oh today is Tuesday. I thought it was Monday, and today is my 40th birthday 😩😩😩, I’m getting old….. and Dunkin all the way. All of my k pods are Dunkin Donuts
Hi :) I have just watched you´r twins first video, and left a comment. Super cute, and good first vid. Liked your video to :) very honest, and to the point. Greeting from denmark
Hi Lissette 😊 The nails came out really cute. You had me laughing while you were trying to get them together 😅 The boys are adorable and they are growing up so quickly. Maybe have them talk about their favorite hobbies?
you should be able to get a more prominent and rounded apex by alternating doing the whole surface of the nail and just the line of the apex down the middle. that should make it less flat and give it the higher peak down the middle of the nail. I personally like mine flatter cuz I do mine really short so I don't need the apex but that should help you. and the higher you want he apex, the more layers you need to do. Most dip powders can also be used with monomer if you prefer to use that method.
after you've filed and buffed cleanse nail and then you can go back in with your base and dip to add more layers and activate again wait a couple mins then file and buff again dust off debris and activate again because the dip top coat needs the activator to cure properly. its all about the timing with the liquids you're using.
Oh girl I’m a Dunkin person too but I buy a big container of ground coffee from Sam’s and make my own at home. I can’t drink any other regular or iced coffee. It’s Dunkin or nothing. Even taking my own coffee on a trip to my cousins 😆. I’m bringing enough for everyone so I can have dunkin in the morning. Omg. Your boys are adorable!! Very cute sour candy video review. If I had kids I’d have them subscribe. I’m sure with their talented momma’s help they’ll be successes as well on RUclips. So friggin cute! I’m a hard gel gal myself but cool they sent you that to try and review.
They are lovely but I do think it was a very looong process! We don’t have Dunkin’ in France and my nearest Starbucks is soooo far away! We depend on restaurants and there are no fast food places near by either…😳xxx
Hi Lisette how are you? I’m happy your boys have a RUclips channel great for them. I tried dip and it wasn’t for me but I thought you did a great job. I think they looked beautiful. I loved the colors. I went to watch your boys video and they are so cute “it taste like toxic waste”😂🤣😂🤣😂. I think it would be cool for them to continue review candy and building toys (toy trains, lego characters, make slime etc) ❤
Girl! My eyes burn when i do dip nails too sooo bad. I stick with acrylic mostly lol cuz i cant stand dip powder for the all the reasons you are saying lol😅
if it breaks off or is gummy texture than the Base Coat (nr1) is probably not dry enough so just wait a bit longer, tap with something on the nail if its sounds hard (not hollow) than its most likely dry enough for the next layer
Aww they are two cute you should let them judge your nails and pick some weird colors on their channel❤❤❤p.s I still don't get the dip powder thing lol😆😆🤐💅
They came out really pretty! I love how colorful they are! That being said, I'm still sticking with my hard gel 😅. Dip nails just don't look appealing even a tiny bit to me 😂
When I first started doing my own nails with acrylic it was ok so I thought I'd try dip and like you I was like how many freakin layers do I need these are so thin 😂😂 I believe the instructions said 3 lol but I was just what?? no way! yeah it wasnt for me... I tried 2 different brands Modelones , had so many beautiful colors and was cute but again still too thin for me. and the other brand was Azure also lovely colors but way too gritty for me did not like them and again way too thin. So now all I do is Polygel and Hardgel which I learned so much about watching you. Acrylic is just stinky - but not bad in the summer time when I can do them out on my patio and Dip is just too thin and annoying.
8:15 I’m a Dunkin’ girl…..can’t help it. Haven’t got one in forever 😢 The clear can be bought separately. You should give your pour or dip a minute after before dusting off. Everything can be fixed with filing. Practice practice..
Most everyone when dipping now use full cover which I have done. But I don’t shove the nail into my cuticle like I’ve seen some ladies do lately…I keep my full cover up just a little and then fill it in with a clear builder gel. That way you have an apex and your not going thru all the extra layers

Those came out pretty 😍
Girl, when you bit that nail package, spit it out, then said "I'm Puerto Rican"...I died 😂😂😂
I’ll ask my kids what they think would be a fun video. They love challenge videos! Xx
Hey Sis, Thanks For Your Beautiful Videos. They are Very Helpful and Entertaining and Educational, Amazing, Interesting, Plus more.

These are cute! With a holographic or pearlescent top it would be really pretty
Awww their video was entertaining. They are off to a great start.
Evie has a great tutorial on building up the apex with dip powders. Your first try came out looking.
You did really good on these Lissette. I love it. I’m definitely loving the colors. I’ve tried azure products before and i love it 🥰 they’re really good
Thank you so much!!
@Lizzette, you and another nail content creator should do a segment when you do each other nail even though you guys don't really do nails on clients. That would be fun to watch.
The twins could do kid friendly experiments. Like the ones we did back in the day at school.
Girl dip powders are hard and messy but your the queen of gel nails so I have no doubt you could be the queen of dip to just keep practicing you will get there babe ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Seems like a really good kit! That's a ton of colors for the price too 🌈
I think you did great for a first timer, it's definitely a process but you'll get faster every time!
I really love your attitude and your sense of humor, "I'm Puerto Rican" took me out 😂😂😂
you can use your reg clear acrylic if you don't get a clear in your dip kit it works just as well
Hey girl I like your Try it Tuesday this week . I think they came out cute but yes it takes a while to get use to dips . Enjoy your week my friend ❤
I love your videos! Your so honest and down to earth ❤❤
I actually love this brand dip powder my nails come out good all the time.
Hi "Lissette" I think because this is not a medium you are use to working with it shook you for a little bit but as you always do luv you took the "BULL" by the horns and you "CONCORD" that thing very beautiful thanks for sharing and showing much love always 💅💕💕💕
Love the technique of using the dip powders as color! Such a good use with a great outcome!
Watched you're kiddos. They are adorable!! I subscribed
by the way, your boys are so cute! "tastes like toxic waste" took me out! LOL.. adorable kids. Looking forward to seeing more from them.

I am a tride and true fan of your hard gels! But I can appreciate you trying something else! Props to you! 🎉💜🫶🤗
They came out beautiful ❤❤
L.... as always you did great love the set, I'm up der with you hate dips too lolzzzz much love❤🥰
Azure Beauty are my preferred dip liquid company, though I tend to use other companies for powders. And yes, you can activate and then go back in with base and more color.
Pretty designs and colors too.
Thank you! 😊

I only do dip, but I can’t use the dip liquids due to “dip flu”, what you were experiencing. I do the gel dip method.🥰
We need merch with your signature sound on it. LMBO
lol 💖💖

Yes she reminded me of me 😂
🤣
Hey Lissette! How are you? Thanks for sharing ❤
I used to do dip before I got into acrylic, and I did struggle with the number of layers. Lol, these did come out great.
Thank you! 😊

🥰
Whew! Dip seems like a lot of work!
as i am currently suffering from contact dermatitis from a nail product I had never used before, I seriously hope you were alarmed by your reaction to this product, and took it off fast, it so scary to hear you were itchy and your eyes were running, because that's how mine started too
After filling add more activator also start the layers further forward then each layer move the base coat further back to get better apex xxx
Hey beautiful I find using a pipette to put dip powder on you have more control and even coverage xx
Great tip!

I think they use a similar type of glue to nail glue for dip nails, so that might be why you got a reaction.
Bonito Lissette
thank you love
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 you're cracking me up!
Duncan Duncan!!
You 😂 funny you was low-key sticking the middle finger up lol
🤣
Maybe your boys can review some toys like play with them and let us know if they’re worth the price if it’s a yay or nay…maybe…lol
👋🏾👋🏾 Lissette
When I first started doing my own nails with acrylic it was ok so I thought I'd try dip and like you I was like how many freakin layers do I need these are so thin 😂😂 I believe the instructions said 3 lol but I was just what?? no way! yeah it wasnt for me... I tried 2 different brands Modelones , had so many beautiful colors and was cute but again still too thin for me. and the other brand was Azure also lovely colors but way too gritty for me did not like them and again way too thin. So now all I do is Polygel and Hardgel which I learned so much about watching you. Acrylic is just stinky - but not bad in the summer time when I can do them out on my patio and Dip is just too thin and annoying.
be generous with the activator
8:15 I’m a Dunkin’ girl…..can’t help it. Haven’t got one in forever 😢
The clear can be bought separately. You should give your pour or dip a minute after before dusting off. You have time after dipping to clear your cuticle with the tool available..damn I can’t remember the name of it. The extra layers are because of building the apex.
Everything can be fixed with filing.
Practice practice..
Sticky layer for this technique, foil gel would work. 😅the colors on top..
Most everyone when dipping now use full cover which I have done. But I don’t shove the nail into my cuticle like I’ve seen some ladies do lately…I keep my full cover up just a little and then fill it in with a clear builder gel. That way you have an apex and your not going thru all the extra layers
Kudos for trying nice attempt but that is exactly why I do not use the products. They are a pain and they don’t last very long.🥰🥰🥰🥰💕💕💕💕
