    You didn’t even need a pinching tool! Thank you! lol ! I see so many use it … and perfectly use it too, but I always get a beautiful c curve with the forms alone.

      I find if I pinch the nail form correctly I don’t need to use a pinching tool. I have pinching tools, but I’m very rarely use them.

      Me too Connie, I’m a new (older nail tech -53) and was so lucky to find a forms class for all the different shapes. It might add an additional minute or 2 to get the forms fitted to each nail & in the correct position but it save a lot of sculpting and filing time later.

    Do you use the encapsulation method with LE color gels? If so could you do a video on how thick each layer, especially the free edge should be?

    Young Nails Acrylic is awesome… I can’t do acrylics anymore because over the last year I’ve figured out I’m allergic to the monomer- I trained with Mjay on for both acrylics and gel using YN but Light Elegance is my absolute go to for gel. I too, use the fiber gel to start .. I love LE gel products!❤

    For lamps you need to know where your product cures - for example 365nm to 405 nm cover MOST gels. If you are getting too much heat you should check your cure wavelength , set your hand outside if the light but placed right at the lips, another technique is to pop your hand in and back out and use low heat cure cycle if your lamp has one.

      I end up getting a sinus infection because of that smell. I find that light elegance, envogue, magic gel, and the new Babe line from Profiles Backstage are the only four lines that I can use that don’t bother me.

    If I wanted to use “tack” from another brand what is the equivalent? Or what is tack? A bonder?

    • @DeliasNailStudio
      @DeliasNailStudio  2 месяца назад +1

      @@getnails_byjen2726 I never found the equivalent of tack in another brand. Tack is a curable bonder. If you are using another hard gel line. Use whatever bonder that company recommends for their hard gel line. I hope that makes sense.

    Madam Glam is not HEMA free. They say it is HEMA free, but someone send the products for testing and it turns out... it has HEMA.
    They also refuse to furnish a MSDS.

      I would recommend red iguanas acrygel. I have tried a few different brands and there’s is really good. It doesn’t bubble and it doesn’t run when heated up by the nail plate. It’s easy to get to a smooth finish and it’s hema free. They offer small and large sizes and it’s really affordable.
