For a while I thought we'd be using your foot for bait. Glad youre doing well. Youre intro is the best intro around and it always makes me excited to see those beasts youve caught. Nice shout out to Tony at Fish Gum too. Keep those vids coming, always an automatic thumbs up from me.
Great video Joey! Fish gum...I've never heard of anything like that. Logan has dropped to 3rd place this morning by over 200 votes! C'mon everyone!!! Please get Logan bag to #1!!
Joey I hope one day I have the honor to fish with you. Hopefully start building my house on St George Island in a couple of months as soon as we sale our house here in NC. Maybe get you to come over and show me how to surf fish.
Just keep Fish Gum in cooler and when stored at home keep in your fridge. Great stuff to have when first start fishing because it will catch stuff for cut bait right away too. Add a strip of it to cut bait too. Everything likes Fish Gum.
True dat! I think my live well is 15ish gallons on my 20' center council with a 150HP 4 stroke. Can you Ever "Really" have too big of a live well? I think not!
dude I watched this last night and walk in Strike Zone today and see you ...good to meet you, I grabbed the second to last ghost white shrimp GUM , again awesome channel for us Breeevard guys! Thanks bro Tight Lines
I started bleeding the stripers that catch how you do with the snook and it has made a big difference. I think you would like fishing at Kirr Dam where I catch my stripers it’s definitely a challenge to consistently catch fish but it’s a lot of fun. It’s similar to the Jetties where you have to fish elbow to elbow a lot of the times but you’re constantly casting drifting artificials in the current generated by the dam. Keep up the great videos 👍
Good video as always, I was sitting 15 minutes in to a 30 minute lunch break and I had to be late getting back from lunchbreak just to watch the video but well worth it!!!🤙👍🤘🎣🎣
always looking for an alternative to fish bites. Is there a mesh inside? I'm not a fan of the mesh even though it helps keep it on it makes it a pain to pull off.
Cuz where m originally from (Morocco) we make a dough with just Filets of sardine and flour. M telling u is really perfect bait but we use a hook with triple head to make the Dough sticking. Hope u understand me :)
@@yourdailyscarystorie wow! I’ve never heard of anyone using that method here in South Africa. Here we just tie a whole sardine on a big hook with elastic cotton.
I'm stuck on the adds at the moment but as a kid (40 years ago) we used to use bubblegum to catch bluegill that we would rebait and cast out again! $hit works! Ok, now I've watched a minute of it. I Actually used GUM. Like human gum. I'll try your "fish gum" when I can. Cheers bro.
It stays usable. Try not to get moisture in the bag and you should be good. I usually cut up a couple pieces when I'm ready to use them and try to keep the bag closed and stowed away.
Curious.. How long will fish gum last if kept in the package? I'm from northern Alabama and regularly travel to fish the Panama City area, but sometimes it may be several months between my trips. Looking forward to trying this stuff out next month!
Mano he's using a fishing rod and reel that's what he's using he's using a fishing rod and reel to throw out his is live bait just in case you're wondering LOL oh my God
On your next vid can you post your setup or how you rig when fishing the pier or jetty cause you always seem to hookup while everybody else watching lol
Nice job. Witch would you rather use? Shrimp are soft. Great video. If ur not using live bait ur not going to catch as much fish as you would without officials. Thai fish commercial out of Key West there's so much life bait over there that is ridiculous.
They both work great. Fish Gum is a newer product and I've become friends with the owner so I'm using them now. I'll still use Fish Bites too. I wouldn't say one replaces the other. Just depends on the day.
Hey when pompano fishing do you use circle hooks? I use fucked, but I have a huge problem of not hooking the fish when it bites. I don't try to set it, just wait and watch but the fish never seems to hook itself. What am I doing wrong??
Been using fish-bites for years lmao but fish-gum is always sold out but def works but hard to get sometimes but they do work really well an also if u wanna even get more scent use a small piece of bait the tip it with fish-gum but use obviously way less bait then u would cause u have the fish-gum or fish-bite but u can catch big drums or reds off this stuff or even sheepshead to.
@@JoeyAntonelli When u guys in sebastian fish with pinch wieghts u are going to the bottom? I'm asking cus I never see anybody around florida fish how you guys do. I wish there was a vid about sebastian techniques.. rigs.. tides.. jetty position, etc. More technical stuff..
Yeah, it's pretty cool stuff. I started working with Tony back in the fish gum prototype days. I love seeing a company come up from nothing and succeed.
If the pinfish are hitting lightly and keep stealing your bait. I cut a 6 hook sabiki in half and use it with shrimp or fishbites. They look at a sabiki hook funny they get hooked!!
Someone introduced me to fishbite I thought it was a joke the guy said try it. So i cut a mini-cube to catch mojarras for bait and it worked then set the mojarra on a hook and caught a Spanish Mack and gave it to the guy that introduced me to the fishbite. I haven't bought shrimp for a long time.
You better tell the pin fish that. I think fish will eat all sorts of stuff when they're hungry. Just like when I take sand fleas offshore to catch snapper. Probably aren't too many sandfleas swimming 20 miles offshore but the Snapper sure do like them.
Nope. The real shrimp gets picked off. This product isn't to replace real shrimp, I use it in addition. The fish may pick off the real bait then get hooked on the Fish Gum which stays on the hook better.
Great Vid Man! FishGum is honored to have you as a ProAngler FishGum Ambassador!
I live in Navarre Florida too!
I remember that video yrs ago when he tried it the first time , congrats dudes
Can you order Fish Gum online anywhere?

Love you content hope the foot injury is better !
Great info on keeping bait fresh and strong (lively), keep up the great content Joey!
So awesome. Fishgum cant wait to try it for myself. Vids are always awesome. Keep it coming.

Does the fish gum stay good after it’s open? Cool that it worked for puffer. I target the Norther puffer in late summer in my area.

Joey, how do you cut ur fish gum to be put on your hook, basically the question is how do you rig it?
You make it look easy. Good stuff!

Do u have Sardine in Florida ?

Does the fish gum stay usable after it is opened or does it turn to leather like fish bites?

@@JoeyAntonelli sweeeet, time to go fishin
can that vein popping trick be used for pike or other fish?
What about a sabiki rig? I know it works with ballyhoo, never tried on pin fish. Have you?

great tip for bleeding snooks !

Snook season aint open rn
It is where I live.
I'd just went to the website and everything is sold out. So now what?
What size hook do u use for pin fish

That is what I usually use but sometimes I will even use a number 6 Sabiki.
Thanks i just got a bunch of small hooks i was gonna send back but i think i am gonna keep now
Hey i got like 500 of these small hooks and all i paid for was S&H if u give me a address i can send u a bunch as i wont use all these

To catch pingish - to the bottom.

I wouldn't say one is better than the other. They both work and I think just like plenty of other baits out there it just depends on the day.
Wish I could think 42 degrees is cold😭

The real question is, is it better than FishBites?🧐🧐
I've heard multiple people say side by side it caught more fish.
But Fish Camp is not designed for panfish it’s created for pompano
Fish gum * and pinfish*

"it was almost freezing it was 42 degrees" meanwhile if we get 42 in VA its a heat wave😅😭😭😭😭
Or you could not use bait and learn how to fish. That would be ideal.

Noticed the fish was biting on the real shrimp then you took it out and didn't used it only used the product you are getting $$$$$.
Nope. The real shrimp gets picked off. This product isn't to replace real shrimp, I use it in addition. The fish may pick off the real bait then get hooked on the Fish Gum which stays on the hook better.
