This would be cute for a baecation. However, if you will be exposed to water I suggest a quick weave (unless your hair is relaxed). With a quickweave , even if exposed to water, that will be a quick fix in the front.

You're such a plug thank youuuu, just one question how do you keep your afro soft?
Hi Sis. I use Sta Sof Fro hairspray (the brown one). It has conditioning agents that really help with softening the hair and minimising breakage. I use it daily when my hair is not styled and keep my hair in a bonnet. I don’t use too much when styling, because too much moisture makes laying my hair a bit challenging.

Hey!! Yes,It will work without the gel. However, I think it works better alone on straightened hair. No flaking🙌. If you get any white patches.. use oil. You can easily wash off the wax with warm water. Thank you. 💛
