Side bar: the only thing with having 4c is if you want a ponytail you need to do sections and wait 24hrs for it to dry with a scarf or invest money in a dryer. It’s just all the extra steps can be sooooo draining. And wash day? Let’s not even go there😭 but I’m learning to love my hair. My daughter has 4c and I’m trying to learn all I can so she can grow to love her hair (unlike me).

I find when I use gel. My hair gets very curly. I have 4 sea hair like yours. Is the wax going to keep the hair from curling? I find whenever I do these styles it's not straight like yours
