U could always relax it.
I relaxed my hair a long time ago, then turned it to virgin. Carried it for about seven years, not too long ago did I relax it, and I'm glad I did.
Cuz when I turned natural my back hair cut terribly, could not carry my hair in peace and was ashamed, it's not so obvious now it's relaxed. I just use edge control to hell and blend it. Even tho it's still obvious, it's tidy.

How long do you keep the hairstyle for and don’t have to wash out the gel everytime you’re done with the hairstyle?

I keep mine in for a week (wash my hair at the end of the week and redo the style) and redo it every morning if it starts lifting I just add a little eco gel to any parts lifting and lay it down with my scarf for about 10-15 mins or sometime more ✨😍💕
