Not sure if it's just the lighting, but the new Luke's light saber looks more lit up than the older versions.
It’s not the lighting, it’s the way they’re doing newer sabers recently. It’s like they turned the saturation up on them. Sgt Kreel’s saber is the same way.

Sure! The body is the Comic Heir to the Empire Luke. The vest is from the ANH Han Solo. And the belt is from a Bespin Luke. Easiest custom I’ve ever done.

I was kinds hoping to see more of that Heir To The Empire Luke figure custom. It looks like you placed Hans Gun Belt and Vest on him. Is that pretty much what he wore in addition to the black tank top and pants?
Was hoping for an update of the Endor/Final Duel for the anniversary, I prefer the look without the robes on top, and I find the original to feel a little too lanky and the head looked poor to me because the hair was way too flat. This new Knight Luke is very nice, but just not quite what I'm looking for!

I never liked the look of the original black series Jedi knight Luke. I chose to get the S.H. Figuarts Jedi Luke Skywalker. I got excited when I saw this, already pre ordered.
Now I just got to decide whether to put it on my mandalorian shelf or put him with the Jedi. 🤘😎
SH Figuarts is definitely better than the original. But the new one I feel gives it a good run for its money considering the cost difference. Mine is going on my Mando shelf… for now

I still remember the 2014 version I purchased few years back. Luke head still look weird to me but I get it. That time it got lots of limitations. The new one which I bought couple of months ago for me is the best version of Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker.

Got Endor Luke... don't like, with no helmet head looks too thin almost inhuman, still not seeing Mark Hamill in the plastic face.
Got him as placeholder for Mando Luke, Etsy Cape got stolen by import customs... not doing Etsy imports again. Endor Luke worst figure inside shelf.
Will buy Mando Luke when available.

Whoever decided to stop putting mushroom pegs on their lightsaber blades was a genius. Wandering Jedi Obi Wan and Ahsoka (mando ver) bit have similar saber blades and they’re great

Bone to uhm jam in the mouth of uhm a Rancor? 😭 No the Force pushing hand or R2 salute hand. Yes there is are two hands in the Dagobah set that are alternate. But the Force using right hand is flesh colored. I need one in a black glove. Enjoyable vid’yo.
Hello Mike thanks for sharing your thoughts on the four different versions of Jedi Luke Skywalker. I don't have the original with the swapping chest plate. I do have the Walmart exclusive Jedi Luke Skywalker and I also have the Heroes of Endor set but I haven't opened it yet. I've got Mando Luke on preordered and I'm waiting for Jedi 40th Anniversary Luke Skywalker that Hasbro pipelined awhile ago. I'm also waiting to see the Vader with a removable helmet and the resculpt of R2-D2. Hasbro only pipelined 4 of the final Jedi 40th Anniversary figure wave, I'm curious about the 5th figure, I'd love it to be Nein Nubb but I doubt it. Thanks again for the video Mike, take care, Tom
I have every single Luke Skywalker Black Series figure ever made and will continue to collect as I love the character. I have pre-ordered the Book of Boba build up pack and I was wondering if I saw correct there is a pipeline for the Luke with the white corner bib after he and Darth Vader defeat the Emperor?
The Walmart exclusive one isn't terrible, but it could have been so much better. The arms on mine are incredibly stiff, but the lower body feels really loose and he tends to dip forward and lean down a bit at times. A bit annoying. The lack of a hook on his belt is extremely frustrating. It's not the worst, but the cloak robe thing makes him look so weird when holding a lightsaber. It's better than nothing. I still think my personal favorite rendition is the Power of the Force Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker. That was impossible to find when I was a kid, but my mom happened to stop by at Toys 'R Us the moment they were stocking shelves and she didn't recall seeing that on my action figure shelf so she picked it up. It may not be a Black Series version, but that one is near and dear to my heart even though it had that weird vinyl form fitting cape.
Agreed. Could have been a lot better. I had the 1997 potf2 Jedi Luke I loved a lot.

I purchased two lightcruiser lukes. Popped the head off one and put it on my 2014 Jedi Luke. The articulation still sucks, but it is a major improvement over the original headsculpt.😁
I have both Figuarts versions and sold all my black series ones.

Mando Luke actually in rotj. Scene with Leia at Endor ewok village when he explained that she’s his sister.
You know, I’ve watched this movie at least once a year almost every year of my life, and often more than that. And I never once noticed in that scene Luke has a belt on. Good catch!
I have the 2014 and the Walmart Exclusive. I am planning to buy the Mando version but way too expensive. I passed on the Endor version because he looked like a wet sack without those helmet and poncho!
