    I am going to phuket in april staying at sunprime kamala beach resort. Would you recommend booking tours before travelling or wait till you get into phuket? Great video

    • @robshaztravels
      @robshaztravels  Год назад

      Hi Emily. Good question. It’s completely up to you. There is an app called Get Your Guide where you can book tours through. It’s pretty good but doesn’t give you the full range of options, but the prices are very competitive. We prefer to use one of the local
      Booking Agents, and there is plenty of them, but that’s just because we like to share the money around the local economy

      @robshaztravels  Год назад +1

      Hello Dan. Just walk down to the end of the driveway to Rathuit Rd and turn left about 40 meters down you will see the sign for laundry. Hope that helps. Have a great trip

    Good day, Me and my wife and friends from America. We decided to visit Phuket in October for the first time. What do you think about Kamala beach?

    • @robshaztravels
      @robshaztravels  Год назад +1

      Hello Eden. Kamala Beach is also a great place. Not far to visit Patong and other places. The town is a growing place and has very good facilities like food and a few good bars etc. The beach is beautiful in the right weather conditions it is a little bit exposed to the open sea so if wind is a bit too much from the west it can be a little bumpy but if the wind is calm or from the east it is going to be great. We hope you have a great trip. 😀

    Going in March and looking forward to it.
    Is there a fee to bring in the drone? If so how much $?
    Also how much to tip the shuttle driver?
    Thanks for the video 👍

    • @robshaztravels
      @robshaztravels  Год назад

      Hi RiverRuns. In relation to the drone there’s no actual fee to bring it in however to fly it legally you have to have a registration. Unfortunately it is a bit of a pain to go through but without the rego you could get a big fine. I have registered mine. I learnt the process from a video a guy did on RUclips that was helpful. This is the link. ruclips.net/video/-ENsccPk7cs/видео.html

    • @robshaztravels
      @robshaztravels  Год назад +2

      Tipping is not necessary but appreciated. We usually tip around 10%so 100 baht for the driver of a taxi and maybe 50 for the driver of a shuttle van

      Hello Mahvish. Thank you for your comment. There are restrictions for luggage on domestic flights however they are different for each type of flight ticket purchased so sorry we are not able to help you will need to check with the airline. We hope you have a great holiday

    Ramada hotel was wonderful! We enjoyed our stay there, the only setback is that this hotel is a bit further away from the night life stuff.
    We were first staying in Patong itself near the beach but our hotel was infested with cockroaches :D We rented motorbikes for the first week, second week we rented a car to go futher away to Krabi and had another hotel there

      Hi Jeff the drivers name was Put and the number we had was +66 086 7623627 or +66 086 6864211. We have alway find Thai people are easiest to get hold of on What’s App

    Been applying for jobs in Phuket now, but seems they only want Thai nationals, mainly hotel maintenance which is my expertise

    • @robshaztravels
      @robshaztravels  Год назад +1

      Hi Mike. Yes that is true a lot of emphasis on put on employing local first. Also I’m not sure if you have a work permit but you must have one first before you can get a job here.
