a nice day in Florida my ass... it's a small day. Lived in Florida my whole life I would say on days like this I would go fishing. But we certainly don't have big days often but this is very small also 2' in one place might be 3-4' in another. Like any local, knowing where to go and when is a plus. Even on the west coast of florida this would be small but surf-able.

In my experiences. It's harder to surf small waves, 1 to 3 feet, than medium waves, 3 to 6 footer.
