Imagine getting kidnapped and instead of having your life threatened, your kidnappers just sing some spontaneous song. That's pretty much what had just happened here.
The Kehwanna Coast Haha, I used to tell my mom as a child "I hope the owl man (Jareth) comes take my sister so I can be asked to marry him" XD its just he is so hot, why wouldn't I want that!

RIP, David Bowie. I liked what I heard of his professional music, but I'll always remember him best as Jareth. May he be singing 'Dance Magic Dance' in Heaven at this very moment.
Oh, no question about that. I said "Professional music" because I wasn't sure what the proper term would be for Bowie's work that ended up on albums, if you catch my drift.
+Lulu Calliope Labyrinth is impossible to remake while anyone who was alive to see Bowie is still around. Can't imagine a Goblin King without his presence.
+Jasmine Smith The problem is that Johnny Depp isn't known for singing. That's why Jareth The Goblin King should be played by Justin Bieber and Sarah should be played by Selena Gomez.
I think if you're a female 70s and 80s baby you'll have grown up with this Iconic movie. We have all watched it endlessly and had this song on repeat. Even now at age 37, I think he is amazing in this movie and I'll forever pay homage to him for bringing such a timeless sound to my childhood. Thank you David, for the ongoing nostalgia of my youth. May you rest in peace and forever dance in heaven xoxo
My mum was born in the 70s and always made me and my brother watch this film when we were little. Am now so glad that she did, this film became a huge part of my childhood and I hope to show my children it one day. It's a classic. RIP David Bowie, no one could replace the Goblin King ❤️
+Ella _ I'm not even a female or a 70s or 80s baby. Male born 1998, and I still grew up with this movie and have watched it endlessly and had this song on repeat...
+Orion Rusnacko Well having grown up in a house of females, I definitely made an assumption there! I'm glad you like the movie, my kids do too!! I think only us females had a crush on Jareth though!!
You have a point there as I also grew up in a house of females also... still growing up in a house of females, besides my 7 year old brother and 4 month old brother.
Had to come back to how I was first introduced to this man as a kid (my parents have a pretty darn good taste) to bid my farewell. These last few years have been pretty tough as amazing people just keep going. Robin Williams lost his fight with depression, Philip Seymour Hoffman lost to drug addiction, David Jones loses to cancer. The times are hard. Let us take comfort, however, in that just like the other greats, David Bowie lives on - in our minds and our hearts alike. The flesh is gone, but the legacy is here to stay, for as long as we keep it alive. Rest in peace, you bloody legend. Heaven indeed finally got cool.
what bit? I've watched it all the way through without speeding up or slowinng down the playbck speed and am not seeing anything unusual? Could you tell us the time in the video you see the 'BS' I'm curious.
I watched this movie all the time when I was littler and I loved it. Now I think its terrifying, like imagine if all this happened to you with those creepy goblin puppets.
My parents used to put this on for me and my sister to watch when I was a kid, and those puppets always used to freak me out. Now I understand that it had nothing to do with me being a kid. Those puppets are fu&king terrifying. How the hell did they find a baby that could see that goblin puppet scream in it's face and still have a smile?
That was Brian Froud's son. Froud was the one who designed all those puppets. He's a well-known fantasy artist. Kid probably saw his dad's art around the studio all the time and thought nothing of it.
And also David Bowie, kept the baby with him the whole time when they were filming the movie so he would be comfortable. The baby crying sound effects were done by David himself cause the baby could not stop laughing.

R.I.P David Bowie My mom showed me you when I first watched Labyrinth. I fell in love you and my mom was madly in love you telling how great you were especially in this movie. She recited every line in this movie and so can I. When I heard what happened, I rushed to her room and told her what happened. She and I started feeling sad all day and we had a movie funeral for you. We watched Labyrinth all night in your honor. You will forever be in my, my moms, and everyone's hearts.

Fucked up but good
how is that?
Because Jareth steals babies, turns them into goblins and romantically pursues a 14 year old girl. Still a great movie and music.
He certainly has the charisma
Yes. Even an excentric person has charisma. But David Bowie, had a style.
+lilMissF0F0 That and more.
when I first saw this movie it was in 2004 when I was just turning 4 and as a little girl I used to watch it all the time, replaying this part of the movie because I loved it so much. He was my childhood crush and always will be, R.I.P to an amazing guy David Bowie. You will be missed..
My father named me "Jerith", after David Bowie's character in this movie, and my mother just HAD to change the spelling.
Jaryth Ryder Appearantly, it's supposed to be 'Jareth' ;-) (www.imdb.com/title/tt0091369/)
I used to see this scene to laugh... Now it's so sad... Farewell Duke Bowie
You remind me of the babe
What babe
The babe with the power
My friend and me used to sing that song so many times to eachother
Thank you David Bowie for your lifetime for dedication to your fans making all of your wonderful music and this awesome movie that made me watch it atleast 1000 times.

The last person he followed on twitter was a God account.. rip David 💔👼

+Cilla Moke: I know. Right? Ugh. So annoying. Couldn't even be bothered to warn people first.
its funny 😂
I’m a teenage girl and this is my favorite movie of all time, and I don’t find the edits funny. bOi
This song really doesn't feel very vilainous.
+psychoticmortacarn eh
It probably wasn't meant to
R.I.P David Bowie
My mom showed me you when I first watched Labyrinth.
Best comment ever. God bless your mom, honey :)
+Camila Zambrano thank you, he was (nope STILL IS) my moms and I's crush. I went to one of theaters and they were playing Labyrinth in his honor and I went there right after school. And I'm keeping those tickets. And "WE CANT TAKE ANYTHING FOR GRANTED" and from this we must move forward even if it's "SUCH A PITY" he's always with us in his music.
+CrazyRandomGirl LMFAO aww, the world just need more people like you (sorry if my english is bad, im mexican)
+Camila Zambrano don't apologize for anything 😊. And thank you and say the same as you😊😎
He made my childhood.. RIP
I really like this song. But I hate listening to any song all the way through. I like it when someone edits the video and puts their own useless observations into it. So how lucky was I to stumble into this video!
Hey Hollow, tell me about the Babe...
Well he won't see it here.
GenerationHollow So, can you tell us about the babe?
Creative_Gaming
What babe?
The babe with the power, duh
Aubezgon What power?!
I remember watching this in English class a few years ago and I fell in love.. RIP David Bowie. I just hoped he got all of this recognition while he was living also.. RIP.
