FINALLY! I clip that shows this scene correctly. One of the best parts of this performance is how she just keeps going until Tim Curry just decides to move on.

It's good as a clip but it's incredible in the context of the movie. The entire movie Madeline Kahn's playing this poised, reserved black widow type, dangerous and hard to read, but all of a sudden here it breaks and she's ranting about someone she hates and it's both relatable and incoherent. it's SUCH a complete curveball on her character and it took me completely off guard the first time I saw it. RIP to Madeline Kahn, she was such a gifted actor and comedian.

This movie had 3 endings. When it was originally in theaters you had to see it three different times in order to see all the endings. And it was worth every penny!

As below, Kahn improvised different dialogue which was edited around the other shots. The editors ran with the flames dialogue. It's so funny and ridiculous it just works.

I saw this in a packed theatre and remember quite clearly it was that scene that woke up the audience into genuine laughter.

This scene could have been the rest of the movie and I still wouldn't have minded. After credit scene showing her still going at it and everyone else is dead/arrested and still would have been amazing.
