Thanks. :D Accents and Portamento (or Slides, to use the name of the function on the 303 itself) are inherent to the 303s. In lieu of fine velocity control, they only have two modes of expression in that regard, accented and unaccented. And a choice between staccato and portamento (unless the note is held between slides, in which case it's just a longer note). :) I love the jazzy find around the 11 minute mark in the video. It's so cool when my melodies and pads get generalized to the single piano and come out so pretty. Around 16:30 you get to the part that's my ring tone. :P That high pitched 303 is playing a pattern that is 9 steps long (which resets every 16 bars) at a 1/16 rate.
