I know nothing about midi controllers or indeed about music. This video seemed reallye advanced for me. it was hard to follow what you were doing.

I just picked one up thinking it would be kind of a fun toy. It's actually very powerful and, especially if you get into the DAW software, it has a pretty steep learning curve. But Rome was not built in a day!

This is the keyboard that stays on my desk between my video monitor stand and my Bluetooth typing keyboard. It's the best desktop midi keyboard I've owned. A couple things. I wish it had an off switch; I ended up plugging it into a usb hub so I could turn the port on and off. The buttons and faders don't "feel" connected to synth/daw controls (the sliders, buttons, and selection knob are fine). I wish it had five more white keys - two down and three up - I'm constantly wanting that lower B or A, or that upper E or F, and it's a bit of a pain while improvising a part to have to stop, back up, and plan my octave selection before trying to recreate what I just failed to play because I wasn't playing on my Aturia 49 which gets in the way of working in Analog Lab, Pigments, or my DAW.

Thx for watching! I hear ya, Im not a great keyboard player at all, but I do feel like if I had 37 keys instead of 25, it would be the perfect combo between small form factor and playability. but thats when I switch to my Keylab 49 as well.
take care!! and thx for commenting! :D
