Hello! Thanks for the video, it was very informative! At 2:55, I did not understand the factors 8.69 and 1.414 that do not match with any value in the formula in the middle row. Request you to explain it in some detail please!
Hello sir, may I know whether we can remove the number 4 from the equation At 2:55, which is multiplying with Li? I wanna design an inductor and capacitor for buck type inverter where LC will be worked as filter.
One thing not clear is D(wt) = Ma*sin(wt). How could D be negative. Shouldn't it be D(wt) = (1+Ma*sin(wt))/2 ? Also, the LC filter values were chosen w/o taking the load value (R) into account. In the simulation you chose 100 Ohms. What if the load changes? How would you control the damping ration of the LPF? On command or load change you may get oscillations and instability.
Thank you sir for this video. Best RUclips matlab channel. Sir can you give detail video on dc to 3 phase ac sine wave detail vedio with matlab simulation?
Sir I have a doubt. In the inductor design formula when substituting the values in the denominator I saw 8.69. What is that constant. Can you kindly explain.
its simple first calculate the current for given load, i= Power (2kw given)/ V(230v) = 8.69A next he has multiplied by 1.414 which is nothing but root(2) to get peak current and finally he has taken ripple percentage as 20% hence multiplying by 0.2
@@aquilrodrigues8155 I followed a similar method for a 500W inverter But the values substituted gives me only 40W at 230V. Any further increase in load power reduces the voltage down. The amount of capacitor current used in the filter increases. Can you help me?
Hello sir.. @0.56 sec of this video.. u have told the inductor ripple current to be 20% . How did you calculated that ripple value.. Please provide the formula for that
Dear Sir I have a question. during simulation, If I use capacitor instead of battery and I selected initial voltage as 5V. so, How i can choose the main value of capacitor as capacitance?

hello sir. how can i add one more inverter in that simulation? is there anything will change if that simulation? or maybe just add inverter normal tu without add another component?
hello sir,Nice tutorial. I am trying to change the filter values according to my requirements. I am getting the wrong values after simulations. can you send me documentation on the filter? how do set the exact values?
Great work. How to know what should be the DC input voltage (Vin) for a particular output voltage of an inverter (single as well as three-phase). Like any justification for choosing 400 V input for 230 V output?
In the numerial value of inductor in the denomenator you have taken (8.69*1.414) as a term which cannot be related to about formula components. Please refer time: 2.55min. Can you please clarify?
i am considering a 2Kva inverter. So for a single phase 230V RMS voltage, the maximum current would be 2000/230 = 8.69. this is value is in rms. so we need to take peak value of it. so we multiply this value with root 2, that is 1.414.
@@TechSimulator actually I need to implement Dual Active Bridge in order to attain DC-DC conversion from one DC level to another DC voltage, with control over both voltage and current control. Can you recommend some video or tutorial to refer for the same.

(d(∆_ilpp))/dt=0 give us K*cos(wt) (1-2*ma*sin(wt) ) = 0 where K=(r*E)/(L*Fsw) and the solution of this equation gives us two solutions sin(wt)=1/2*ma et k*cos(wt)=0 then wt=sin^-1(1/2*ma) et wt =pi/2 , how you fund only sin(wt)=1/2*ma ?
You can select value of capacitance based on the max permissible voltage ripple. You also need to consider the ripple current of capacitor, that you will get from the datasheet. If the ripple current is less, then you need to connect multiple capacitors in parallel
This video is misleading. The suggested filter does not give sine output as it dose not filter 50 Hz square wave which is necessary for getting bipolar output. Some one can try with design value of L and C and see the result.
