Lagrange point ... My.. It`s just awesome - NES BGM sounds in pure FM! What a wonderful Konami`s VRC7 sound chip! In my childhood I never thought that NES can sounds exactly like a SEGA Megadrive 2. Very cool! It`s all about the Famicom power (real power!). Of course and pure 8-bit NES sound in this set also great! Especially music by Naoki Kodaka (!!!), Masashi Kageyama (!!!) and by cool guys for the Zen the intergalactic ninja (!!!), Batman Returns, Jackal, Vice (Gun Dec), MGS. Thanks to this video I discover very nice games which I never played before: Conquest of the Crystal Palace, Getsu Fuma Den, Uforia The Saga, The Guardian Legend, Soltice.
Nicolas Fabian Caceres Cely ... I think that game didnt make to North America thats why maybe nobody knows about it! Toho OST should be in the top 5 of all NES ost... that theme is one of the best OST everrrrrrrrrrr
Including famicom exclusives was a damn good idea, we really missed out on some great titles in the states, many of which have added sound expansion. It would be great to see an FDS compilation!
With Nintendo basically putting all their titles from 1986 - 1988 on the FDS, and then converting them to NES for International release. Konami and a few pre-Final Fantasy Squaresoft titles as well hit the FDS. So theres enough material.
Solstice by Tim Follin will always be a true classic. It changed the sound scape of NES music forever. My main inspiration for combining voice 3 and the noise channel for "Drum & Bass", basically. ;-)

The thing about these soundtracks, especially trying to fall asleep to them is that if ur just about to doze off and u hear a catchy tune, u have to get up and find out which game that is. Lol, thats why I can't listen to while driving or sleeping.
What's up with the ridiculously good quality of the UI elements. Are the games remakes or remasters? Ok, not all of them, but I don't remember Ninja Gaiden or that first game having such sharp UI's
The VRC7 chip was based upon a Yamaha sound chip. Many Yamaha sound chips sound similar to this, including that Sega Genesis which also has a Yamaha sound chip (but not the same one)

The drums in Ninja Gaiden are digital samples, but so are the bongos in SMB3. Neither of them had additional sound chips. the sample channel was one of 5 built-in channels of the 2A03-chip, which is the NES's (and Famicom's) CPU

Tetris theme (тут иностранная публика может запротестовать) А в целом должен поблагодарить за подборку, поскольку претендентов на попадание в топы очень много и что самое примечательное есть по два действительно достойных произведения с одной игры

8 bits era (Nintendo/Master System) were the COOLEST chiptunes ever. Some of the greatest music are in this era! Oh the nostalgia!

Its cause emulators give of a sharper image and new screens dont have all those lines that old TVs had.
