When Bandai give up their master grade lines.. the third-party manufacturers like Daban, Solomon, supernova, Nilson work, Xunxin, Motor nuclear, Fission craftsman soul, Zao workshop, and ect. took over and give us an extraordinary master grade with a reasonable price ($40 usd kit already comes with pre-built metal frame 🔥⚡) 🫡
Here in England I can pick this kit up for £17 with no delivery charge. It’s great to see you finally giving a bit more love to the third party kits, the Thor is phenomenal and there are a lot of us who are after the build experience and are not really interested in the franchise the kit is from I think.
You should try Snaa blue flame or the Solomon Physalis.. those two is straight up beast on their own.. also some in era products like aurora.. u might check einta industries sky defender too..
By the way, you definitely should put on the decals and top coat it flat. I've tried it and... Let's just say it transformed straight to a robot that definitely will go straight to punching rather than using bazooka or gun 😅 Kinda like Kamiki Sekai way of playing

Mecha, if you're still intent on reviewing third party kits by Supernova/SNAA/ZZA, might I recommend the Blue Flame and the Blade King? That is pretty much a Wing Gundam Zero Honoo Flame Feder in blue. I've built it and it is incredible. The Blade King is a combination of the Astray Red Frame, 00 Qanta and Aerial.

Im excited for the new RX-78F00/E that they just announced along with the RG 2.0 RX-78-2. Looks like we will also get an adaption movie based on Episode 24 "Black Tri-Star" similar to Cucuruz Doan's Island for the 45th Anniversary. They also announced Mobile Fighter G Gundam Gaiden as a new anime series and Mobile Suit Gundam Silver Phantom as a VR Animation. They also showed new High Grades based off the upcoming Netflix Animation.
I picked up a couple of these from GMC a month or two back. Initially I was a little disappointed at how simple the inner frame was given their obvious riffing on the Real Grade line, but I was quickly won over by how solid it ends up. It's like a good pub meal; not fancy, but all the right stuff is there and you're left feeling satisfied. I'm really not seeing the similarities with the Asmoday beyond the arm cannons and hip grenades though 😆
Hope you review more chinese kits, some of the new ones released in the last few years are absolutely amazing and are totally getting to the gunpla level of quality.

I just can't with SNAA kits man /: I got a Blade King and was soo excited to build it but when it came down to it I hated the quality of the plastic. so much extra stuff you gotta do in order to get pieces to fit together. compared to Bandai kits, cutting out pieces from the frame felt soo janky too. I only got done with the head, chest and torso because I didn't have anymore joy to continue building it. so I took it back to resell it partially built under commission at the store I got it from. it was such a waste of $70. I actually went back to that shop today and seen this exact same kit but just ignored it. Another thing about SNAA that I didn't like was that they had soo much errors on their instruction manuals too that I spent most of my time just looking up the correct pieces to cut. Now because of SNAA I will forever stay away from 3rd party type mecha builds and just stick to Bandai, but who knows though a lot of people like them and I don't blame them because the kits look amazing. It's just the build experience for me just wasn't right. I hope one day another 3rd party company can prove me wrong.
I wouldn't get that if I were you. RG Zeta is known to be extremely finicky and it's parts are easy to fall off. It's one of those kits that bring a builder frustration rather than fun. It's transformation gimmick + it being part of the early wave of RG doesn't do it any favors in the solid and sturdy department. If you're the type of person who wants to do a lot of cool poses with gunpla kits from time to time, then you're outta luck with that one. So unless you're a really huge fan of the Zeta Gundam, I suggest you go for another kit instead to spare yourself from the hassle.
Wow, it really are expensive on the other side of the globe. In ASEAN getting SNAA Thunder Incise are almost half and often less than half of the price of HG Asmoday and HG Aerial. I just got mine for almost a third of the price of HG Aerial on TikTok shop. But we paid a premium damn price for PC and smartphones tho. So that's that.

3rd party companies are really starting to make some impressive kits, I just finished building the Duel mg and by all means was it a great build and rock solid. But man those 3rd party kits are looking absolutely killer. I do know that a few have or had some fitment issues in the past. Ill try my best to stay away form those lol
i had randomly purchased this kit to make my order hit the free shipping amount. but since the order included a pre-order of the solomon gp02, i still havent gotten it yet. good to know that the engineering of this kit is so good. the design is a bit bland and generic especially when compared to the bandai version but as a kit itself, it seems a lot closer to RG than HG. I had planned to pilfer many of the joints and limbs to modify a no grade ex-s from the late 80s
This does look like a great kit to build.... but yeah its very standard gundam i guess? Just cant help but feel like although its a great kit in its own right, if I wanted an asmoday and got this I think id be disapointed aesthetically, but without the connection to asmoday its pretty as hell.

I saw that Legion of Thor in a local store. I can buy two kits of it and a good amount of change, Versus 1 kit of HG Destroy Gundam.
Legion of Thos is a great kit, its a combination of a MG and PG kit build and it's beyond solid. It literally can hold the hammer with one arm.

Funny thing is, Thunder incise grace is cheaper than asmoday buy like 30 ringgit in malaysia, TIG is priced around 40 while asmoday is around 60 to 70

It's kinda weird when the legit Gundam kits look like knock-off Armored Core and the third party kits look like legit Gundam.
Could you please review the MG Akatsuki Gundam. I’m debating on getting it but I wanna know what it’s like before I buy it.
i had randomly purchased this kit to make my order hit the free shipping amount. but since the order included a pre-order of the solomon gp02, i still havent gotten it yet. good to know that the engineering of this kit is so good. the design is a bit bland and generic especially when compared to the bandai version but as a kit itself, it seems a lot closer to RG than HG. I had planned to pilfer many of the joints and limbs to modify a no grade ex-s from the late 80s
You should build the SNAA Blade King, a must have kit in a collection. Definitely gundarium (even though not a gundam) tier
This does look like a great kit to build.... but yeah its very standard gundam i guess? Just cant help but feel like although its a great kit in its own right, if I wanted an asmoday and got this I think id be disapointed aesthetically, but without the connection to asmoday its pretty as hell.
Seems that Bandai lost their soul after Bionicle is dead. Which supposed to be a gunpla killer in America. At least Bionicle never got mogged by Chinese bootlegs.
Tbh i've always thought the ibo flare is something that can't be beat. I like this kit, but i'd still rather they make actual rg ibo kits.

I don’t know how you’d call this gundarium, sure it has an inner frame but it has no gimmicks whatsoever and honestly is very basic.
