Real Grade 2.0 definitely needs to be a thing.
Edit: I know, but I expect it'll be the same deal as the MG 3.0; only the RX-78-2 gets the treatment.
PG unleashed
MG extreme
next RG refined ?
Definitely. Rg zeta 2.0, instant pre-order from me if it got announce.
Hope they remake all old rg to be 2.0
@@Serom_974 rg refined is kinda nice
HG Revive
MGEX
PG Unleashed
So... RG Revised?
I swear, the MK II has had such a great luck streak with all of it's kits. The HGUC revive was fantastic, the RG was fantastic, the MG was a revolutionary MG for it's time and still holds up amazingly, even today. And the PG is no slouch either. MK II is a design where no matter the grade, you can't go wrong
Even though lore wise it's not THAT good a suit it just has that kind of design that looks so nice, good angles, nice paneling and some subtle details all to itself.
I love my RG MK II! Its such a great and simple looking kit but holds up so well
You're correct
The rg mkII is such a stupidly sturdy kit lol. Like I’m always shocked as to how solid that thing is when I move it around.
it's quite the opposite for zeta gundam, which is a shame. idk about lightning zeta gundam though
Can we just appreciate how good mecha makes his ads.
Deffinetly

this is the kind of ads one wouldn't pass
Gundarium tier effort
YEP!
My first ever kit was a real grade Char's Zaku. In hindsight it was probably a bad idea but it made me develop zen level patience and building future kits a lot easier.
Char zaku was also my first kit ever in my life. High grade kits are a breeze after the first being a rg kit lmao
it was my second kit and almost put me off gunpla forever lmao
@@concon09090 ya first one was rough after that i only wanted to build rg if it I wanted 144s
My first kit was a Chinese ripoff gundam I can't remember the name, since I was young building that kit as bad, then getting older, I decided to go back into model kit, decided to buy ultraman Tiga figure rise and RG Zaku 2 char custom. The tiga model kit was great, the build experience is good, the design looks sick, but the moment I move on to the zaku, I was traumatised by the complexity and the fragile plastic, since I have big sausage finger just handling those small bits was a nightmare. From that moment on I only buy HG since I love the easy build experience and now only collecting WFM kits, poly capless kit or just a kit who I really love the design.
Wow, are you me or something? RG Zaku II was also my first, and while I didn't hate putting it together, the finishing product is super frustrating.
Atleast those early RG kits are not as fragile as the White Hardened Semen
Rg zaku 2 would beg you the differ
@@LoliMaster69227 same with the RG Rx-78-2.

@@Steven-kb7yy see his review from 2 videos ago
Despite being one of the earliest rg, rg wing zero is quite a solid build. It's not quite detailed as newer rg or the latest ver ka but it gets the job done. Really recommended for those looking for old rg to add to their collection
Wing zero's RG's in my top 5.
Totally agree. It’s been a few years since I built mine and the joints are still solid and the wings work pretty nicely. The only downside is that it tends to turn yellow as time passes, but I’m sure good care will prevent it.
That and the Tallgeese RG kits all pretty solid
In the US, Hobby lobby has it at 40% off, which is about 20$. If anyone’s looking for a cheaper way to get it.
The wing zero was my first RG lol
Favorite: nu gundam
It changes my opinion on the ms entirely!
Least favorite: zeta gundam
plastic hand grenade
my rg zeta leg is broken :( wish they make a 2.0
@@bhz403 congrats man
the rg zeta's more or so a time bomb than a hand grenade.
The rg Nu gundam is: hands down, THE gundam that got me addicted. I have you to thank for that. It’s been almost a year since I bought it. I couldn’t stop building ever since.
Are you one of my people ?
What accent is that?
Was trying to figure it out the whole time
The RG Nu Gundam, Sasabi and Unicorn (any variant) are must haves when it comes to the RG line. The presence, detail and solidity of the Nu and Sasabi is just something else. The Unicorn, while being smaller, packs that and a transformation. The three Setsuna gundams are fine kits. As is the Tallgeese. Absolutely adore the Crossbone and I am looking forward to building the Impluse at some point. This line has really come into its own.
*sazabi
Fav RG so far: The Crossbone Gundam, it's amazing how tiny and super detail it is that thing... just WOW! I love him ❤🙌🏼
I love the RG Z’Gok, it’s not the best kit around but it’s a beautiful take on easily ignored suit. Hope we get some RG G Gundam kits soon.
Dude...
Good news, pal.
The RG line makes me appreciate kits I usually hate, Exia/00, RX-78, Z'Gok.
I hope the Rg Zeta Gundam gets a 2.0.
*Yet again I’m still going to buy the Rg Zeta*
I think the hg zeta revive is solid enuf despite the part transform.
I hope EVERY kit before the RG Unicorn gets a 2.0. I want me some Zakus, Z'goks, Astrays, and a Sinanju!
Zeta problems so much can be said but very little can be improve imo
Its is very fragile from design itself, just anime makes it looks solid. The best we can hope for is zeta ii
I think the astray is ok, no need for a 2.0
Still waiting for Blue Frame Astray to get a kit
My favorite RG kit is crossbone just because i like something that has pirates theme
And i got a jar of dirt for it
YOU WHAT
Only real POTC fans will know that line. Hahaha
This is a gundam Jack Sparrow would like to pilot
I totally agree! (although it's not my favourite because nothing can beat my love for the RG Nu and Sazabi (talking about the Nu with the HWS Armor and Double Fin Funnel because Heavy Mecha Angel is sweet!)) Crossbone just got that awesome and sweet PoTC vibe and I custom painted it in the Black Pearl's colour scheme and it is awesome!

I wouldn't exactly call Char a bad guy, he's an antagonist tho. He's a bad guy, but not a bad guy.
antihero
Dropping Axis on Earth sounds very bad guy to me
@@Submission_Fighter personally, I think he's more of an "anti-villain", if that's even a thing.
"You are bad guy, but this does not mean you are bad guy," is what came to mind while reading this. :\
@@nerobiblios4086 On TV tropes, anti villain is a thing but Char is not listed. Treize and - UC appropriate - Garma Zabi is however.
0:50 The camera switched to the nu gundam when he said "least favourite gundam" lmao what
I think the whole stardust memory line of gunpla should get revived because the hg, mg and RG are very old and awful.
I've only ever had the original No-Grade of GP01 and it was one of the worst kits I've ever built. But they still haven't gotten it right 30 years later?
Everything in the line has needed a 2.0 for a long time.
@@snukastyle The HGUC for GP01 is close to 20 years old at this point and it needs a revive
@@kivulifenrir The 0083 HGUC GM kits are really good. They just need an adapter to use regular display bases. The HGUC GM Custom to this day is still one of my favorite HGUC kits.
@@supergeno128ds Only the Gms are ok but the other old kits need a redo
Gonna be honest. Can't wait for that Hi-Nu.
SAME I was gonna get the regular Nu and then it was announced :D
Idk why I'm still laughing after he swears at the sinanju lol
Thanks for making this! I'm just recently getting into Gunpla and your videos really help!
I just want to say Mecha makes the best damn ads, and personalizes them so well! Hope you enjoy making them as much as we enjoy watching them!
Your number 1 favorite is what ultimately got me into Gunpla seriously. I had put together a couple of kits before, but I bought the full kit with the effects parts and I've been hooked since.
RG just keeps getting better and better, definitely my favorite Gunpla line. I'm ashamed I haven't picked up a Nu or Sazabi yet.
Loved seeing these lists come out, there so fun to watch!
Man, RG Mk II was my first ever build. Love that kit so much! You’re right, it’s so solid and clean looking! Keep it up Mecha
🏴☠️ crossbone Vanguard gang, this video has now been taken by us epic pirates 🏴☠️

Pardon me for questioning but Does your RG crossbone have some problem at the arm joint being quite lose? Especially at the joint that connect the arm and the shoulder?
@@agungyoga4520 Sorry, but mine hasn’t arrived yet
Ahoooooy!
@@agungyoga4520 I have the RG Crossbone X1 and X2 and don't have any loose shoulder issues
My favourite RG is probably the Crossbone for how much awesome is packed into a small package, and the number of accessories is top notch. The fact that it has the core fighter engineered in there and it's still solid as a rock is even better. The Nu is tied as the best RG IMO, but the Crossbone is the sleeper hit of the line. So small, yet so impressive, and the fact that Crossbone was even given the RG treatment is surprising enough.
My least favourite is the Sinanju, because it looks so good but is such a messy turd, plus I was beyond excited for it because I'd tried and failed to give my HG Sinanju a premium paint job when I first started customizing. Little did I know it was a half-baked mess of terrible design decisions. Even if it held together its posability sucks. Ended up getting a Titanium Finish HG Sinanju and a gold leaf pen and painstakingly brush-painted the gold on to the black, gave those parts a gloss coat, and it honestly works better for me. At least I can pick it up.
I really live how short your intros are and how you run the entire video its honetsly amazing no one else could keep my attention with figurines like you can
For some reason when i was in Akihabara I knew i wanted a Gundam and luckily had the time to really look around and was just drawn to the RG Mk2 Titans model, it just looked right to me with no prior knowledge.. 3/4 years later I am glad I got into 144th RG since thats when the best kits really arrived, I built the Nu Gundam on your recommendation and was astounded at the expertise that must have gone into it..amazing and have now got the Sazabi, Tallgeese, Unicorn, Astray, 00 Raiser with a Force Impulse arriving from Christmas.. Great channel Btw. 😉
Of course the rg zeta will the top wor- I mean best rg of all time. It's a great beginner kit with a simple build and is really stable. Plus the transformation is fun
How about reviewing the mg rx-78-2 2.0?
Totally
The MG RX-78 2.0 is so fucking good, it's easily my favorite kit and I'm always posing it.
oh yeahh
This again? That's it. I'm dropping a colony.

bought a ZETA before finding out it was built like broken glass. sits on the shelf of shame and collects dust but still like the look of it deep down.
definitely it looks really cool
The best part of this video was your ad read. Amazing.
Great video! Would love to see a top 5 best/worst for MGs one day, maybe next year after a lot of new ones come out to see what older stuff still ranks.
Zeta be like "Square up!" And Nu be like "You're drunk, go home."
(Dang autocorrect)
On the RG MK2
>no parts fall off
>right hand guards is missing
well he couldve plucked them, no footage of it falling off *taps head *
consider the fact that it's the rifle holding hand, so it's highly likely he just didn't add the back hand part in the first place. since he must've swapped out the default hands for the rifle one just for that picture
That was one awesome ad dude!
I was thinking about getting the RG Nu Gundam after watching your review video for it, but my wife ended up getting it for me for fathers day and I love it! It's my first RG kit and I have zero complaints about it. I also bought the P-Bandai RG Sword Impulse which I'm looking forward to putting together.
My favorite RG Kit is the Tallgeese EW but that might change when the Wing Gundam (TV Version) comes out next year. Definitely getting that one
I just bought that
100% agree on the MkII being up there. While relatively simple, it's still a cool design with some really nice details in there. Mine has held up really well over time as well. Likely due to the minimal weight of the parts and lack of anything too finicky to begin with. The flexible piping is also an awesome added detail that works perfectly with the design.
Simple, good looking, and excellent articulation, even years later.
Gotta agree with you on MK2 there. One of my favorite (and also my first) RG and the one that got me excited for gunpla (I exclusively collect RGs). I bought it around 6 or 7 years ago and it still stands solid as a brick. Just love it.
Nice. This actually helped a lot because I was looking into RGs and was thinking about getting the Zeta. With it's reputation as a plastic explosion in mind, it looks like I'm going to go with the runner-up: Sazabi.
My all time favorite is the tallgeese III, and least favorite was the zeta. I was really disappointed with how it turned out, being the first gundam I loved. But I'm really surprised at the Zaku units that came after char's/Zaku II. After 5 years of building them, they're still very solid
I like the RG nu, but I definitely like the Sazabi more. I had some strange fitment issues with the Nu that kind of threw off my love of the kit, though that was probably just me, since I was still very new at building kits when it came out (and honestly still am).
As for kits not mentioned in here, I really, REALLY like the Tallgeese. So much so I have 3 versions of the RG kit (TV ver. OG, II, and III).
I am looking foward to your best kits of 2020
I just got into the hobby and I'm glad that the first kit that I chose is your most favorite kit, the nu gundam rg! Still have not built it yet, but looking forward to it!

A bit surprised to see the Amatsu Mina here. I've got no problem at all with it, either with some loose articulations or small lost parts. But hey, it may just be me. :)
But I totally agree with the Qan[T], the Mk-II and the Nu Gundam. Such awesome kits. I took some time to paint the Mk-II (the Titans vers.) with some metallic blue and gosh it looks so great !
My amatsu mina is still tight as a tiger too :) love it.
I love ur poetry presentation of the SurfShark ad.
Interestingly, I love the RG Zeta the most. I think the design of the kit is marvelous.
The RG Nu Gundam was the first kit I built this year to get back in the hobby and is indeed one of the best in my collection. I love it to bits! So far it’s just that and the Sazabi that I’ve built, but have a Zeong on the way!
The rg freedom gundam is such a pretty kit. Straight built it is screen accurate.
But the thing is the handgreanadiest handgrenade grenade I have. And I got the ibo HGs when they first came out.
What ibo kits were hand grenades? I've only built a few but Ive always been impressed by how solid they are
@@Bakucryptid77 Th thing with Ibo kits is that there super good... at first. After one or two years they really start to loosen up and parts will start to come off frequently.
RG Freedom is average, Justice sucks
@@ry0usama511 If the rg freedom is average, the I don't what to know the the zeta is like.

Built the Char Zaku II and the RX-78-2 RG and the skirts and shoulder/leg pegs are floppy and fall off. Built the RX-93 and this was a wonderful and firm build. Have the RG Sazabi and hope for the best. As someone mentioned, RG 2.0 of the Grandaddy and Zaku II's would be wonderful
I watched your Zaku High Mobility Type review, so I prepared with the glue to help with the loose bits. I'll shove some stuff into the joints when they become loose.

Loved the bloopers on the sinanju build. I thought I was the only one who gets a bit pissed when a piece falls off while posing. Lol of course sinanju isn’t the only one it happens with but man that feeling almost brings me to tears it’s the worst
I swear to God I have never not skipped an add on any other RUclips channel. I look forward to these... it's like the twilight zone
For me, the Sazabi edges out the Nu Gundam _ever_ so slightly. Nu has it beat in articulation, but Sazabi is just naturally *HUGE,* and more unique-looking. Bit more stable too since its fin funnels are on racks instead of looking like cell phone bars. However, both are _easily_ my two favorite gunpla ever. Of any grade.
Zeta deserved better
I been await for this video 😊!
And this is two years old. I wonder where hi v and God gundam would sit.
Man he’s coming to my favourite line
When will you do a mg sazabi review?
I laughed so much in the bloopers part that my neighbors came to see if I was ok
I agree just as much, both versions of the Gundam Mk II are superbly sturdy. They pose and hold their joints extremely well without faltering under their equipment weight, which are small and not an issue
Can you review the hg 00 raiser mg epyon hg or mg phyco zaku

Definitely going to pick up the Mark II at some point, as that's my favorite Gundam suit(just ahead of the Nu and Ground Gundam). Its because of you I'm building the Rg nu this weekend. Iv only built a few rg and like them for the most part like crossbones was great but perfect style was a like less to be desired. Nu has always been a fav for nostalgic reasons. But I was contemplating rg vs mg. And because of you Iv chosen rg
honestly didn't mind the RG zeta but then again i never touch my kits once they're built and painted. Probably gonna pick up a second for a char color scheme, possibly even a third because I love the proportions and color separation.
