@@EverythingFishingJT i actually grabbed the boat and hit Jennings today with my girl after watching your video …… didn’t catch anything she caught one smallie
@@EverythingFishingJT nice man , you guys should try diving up where the Potomac dumps in , there were tons of fish on my garmin just couldn’t get em to bite
Nice diving video. I have also dived a few times at J/R Lake including the RxR bridge piers. Great lake to dive especially when it is clear with good underwater visibility. Thanks for sharing.
This is awesome. My daughter lost her paw patrol fishing pole in that cove. And i lost a grapple anchor there aswell. My daughter would flip if i showed her a video of you spotting her pole
@@EverythingFishingJT if so that would be cool just to see the recover and to show the video to my daughter. I do doubt the pole would be much good tho🤣 but I will definetly stay tuned in and you be safe out there on these dives. I and a close group of friends enjoy your content especially that of Jennings Randolph lake and look forward to all future content
Just found your videos today and have been hooked. I basically grew up at deep creek being there every weekend in summers and going to college at Garrett. I also live 5 min from cross creek. Funny we found this lake by accident when going to potomac state college for my step daughter. Wondered what kind of fish were in it. Now we know. Thanks
I love this video. It is very surprising how many fish you saw. This is a hard lake to fish. I love the lake. Now it would be great if you would consider a dive at Mt Storm lake. It isn’t that far from Jennings and the water will be warmer.
You mentioned the thermocline. Where was that? I’ve had a lot of good luck targeting catfish at that cove, but since the water had dropped it’s been very slow.
I saw a few. One small one by the Christmas trees. I saw a giant one as I came around the shallow pillar. He bolted before the camera saw him. He was bigger than the larger smallies.
The shallow bridge pillar was about 13 FOW. They were about 8’ feet away from the pillar. And probably between 5-10 feel in the water column. The water temp above the thermocline was a balmy 68 f. Below, as you probably heard in the video was much colder. MUCH COLDER….probably high 40’s to low 50’s…
Are you even allowed in that part of the damn near that railroad trestle? I've never been near there, don't have a boat. At one time there was an area roped off over there because of an eagles nest. I've never had much luck fishing at JRL, and neither has most of the people I know that fish there. I've only ever fished off the shore, not many people fish there, the fishing is poor. I've had far better luck fishing the river below the damn.
Finally i run onto videos of Jennings!I miss fishing up there.I jist live 20 minutes from this lake. Thanks for the video!!
These are my favourite videos on RUclips! Awesome stuff. Keep them coming. Thanks
Thanks. We will have more dives this year
Awesome video. I fished that lake a few times. Nice bass down there!
Thanks Jared. I’ll definitely be back there.
Dude I caught a 22” smallmouth there , the video is on RUclips, awesome video man that’s really cool
Thanks Danny. Hoping to get another WV dive in soon

When I go back some day I will share the video. I bottom bounced for walleye at 30 to 40 feet in September and did pretty good.

Thanks Joe. We will try to be back on Jennings this year.

Thanks Dustin. Your comment means a lot to me.
This is awesome thanks for diving and showing some hot spots
You are welcome Dave. We enjoyed it.

Hi Steve. Glad you found my videos. Hopefully I get better as I go and continue to entertain and provide information. This year should be a good one.
Did you see any snake head
No snakehead
Love it man! Wish you could back and do the upper lake where the river comes in
We just may
Awesome video

Thanks Russell. We will definitely look into Mt Storm
Definitely not a hard place to fish lol caught 30 + yesterday
That's really cool. Have you ever dived or thought about diving at Deep Creek Lake?
Hi Brenda. Thanks. Check out my channel and you will find a few DCL dive videos. They are not as clear. The spring time video is the clearest.
Thanks 🙏
Thanks for the positive comment. I like these ones. 😊
AWESOME...GOTTA ASK...SEE ANY MORE PIECES OF WAFFLE ROCK 🪨 IN THERE WITH ALL THOSE BEAUTIFUL SMALLIES???
Hi Jason. I’ll consult the diver. I don’t think so though.
Can you go do this around the wv launch or the cliffs? As a kid when lake levels were this low I loved finding stuff people had dropped in these areas
We can look into it. Not sure where the cliffs are. We are new to Jennings Randolph but will be diving it again.
What do you think the vis was like rest of the lake? Have you dived the lake when it wasn't raining?
I can’t really say for sure about the clarity of other areas of the lake. We plan on coming back and diving a different area. Possibly this year.
You mentioned the thermocline. Where was that? I’ve had a lot of good luck targeting catfish at that cove, but since the water had dropped it’s been very slow.
63 feet he said it went from warm to ice cold.
Nice video, still waiting for you to dive, or will you just lower a camera
Eventually. I’ll dedicate the video to you. 😁
Have u fished out of both the Hobie (fin style) 'yaks. and the one shown?
Thoughts?
I’ve only fished out of my two kayaks. My Bonified P127 and my Acsend. Never fished the Hobie
i see the SMB grouped up.
Were the WAL just singles, or?
The walleyes were singles. 35-40 FOW
I lost that fishing pole
Not sure we still have it. Haha
Have you ever seen Carp in this lake?
No, but I have not fished the lake much. We will be back at some point.
i've been very pleasantly surprised byy the size and condition of BGL bycatch,
taken while targeting trout at night.
Have u ever dived into rocky gap?
Not yet. We thought about it.
Did you see any trout down there?
No trout, but I spent very little time below the thermocline which is where I would imagine the trout to hang out…
Fab

Question: Did you see any LMB?
I saw a few. One small one by the Christmas trees. I saw a giant one as I came around the shallow pillar. He bolted before the camera saw him. He was bigger than the larger smallies.
How FAR ABOVE BOTTOM, on average did you find these fish?
Range as well?
Riding surprisingly high?
The shallow bridge pillar was about 13 FOW. They were about 8’ feet away from the pillar. And probably between 5-10 feel in the water column.
The water temp above the thermocline was a balmy 68 f. Below, as you probably heard in the video was much colder. MUCH COLDER….probably high 40’s to low 50’s…
Did you see emerald shiners in schools?
i see singles at the surface, at night, but that's it.
