- The Sanlorenzo SL90 A (Asymmetric) delivers superyacht levels of customisation on a sub-30m footprint. Many shipyards talk of customisation but when you buy an SL90 you start with a blank sheet of paper and personalise the boat to exacting standards.
Could this be the best 90ft design on the market? By arranging the port passageway on the upper deck, the designers have pushed the saloon right out to the beam on the port side and created, according to Sanlorenzo, 10-15% more space in this area.
The arrangement is very flexible but the boat on show at Boot Düsseldorf has an owner’s suite on the main deck, forward, with direct access to the terrace on the foredeck and three further guest cabins on the lower deck. There is space for four crew in a well-designed crew area, which has two cabins, two bathrooms and a mess.
The genius of the design is that you never really notice that the decks are asymmetric and the way the foredeck is connected to the expansive flybridge by the raised port side deck works brilliantly.
The boat is powered by twin V12 2,000hp MAN engines for a top speed of nearly 30 knots (not bad for a yacht of 100 tonnes) but will cover nearly 1,000nm at displacement speed.

Tender deployment is a nice touch. Glad engines were symmetric! Another faultless no nonsense video with excellent edits. Gorgeous vessel, not sure about direct suite to gangway access... bespoke is rightly bespoke!

cracking boat. r.e the video I think you should look at your lens/camera set up. I feel like a lot of the shots are too close and I really struggle to appreciate and understand the space Jack's talking about. A wider angle lens would make a huge difference i think

Very nice video Jack, and nice to bump into you in Dusseldorf. 0:32, not it's not the best thing under 30m - the SL96A is :). It might be second best.
3:52 - the ability to walk straight from foredeck to flybridge is not created by the asymmetric design - Riva Corsaro + Argo, Princess Y95, and Sirena 88 all offer the same, without being asymmetric. The only thing asymmetric gives you is a wider salon as a trade for a side deck - nothing wrong with that becuase it's a good trade the way Sanlorenzo do it.
It's a great boat and I look forward to your sea trial video that I hear is in the works.

I own a SL90 its a nice boat i have it fully custom interior black/red with cool aftermarket technology/appliances. Now i am currently trying to find a captain.
Oh wow that is a fabulous boat. She is very classy lady that meets the owners needs. She also has a very relaxed light and airy feel about her. One of the best master cabins I've seen in a long time. The guest cabins id be happy in any of them. Crew area is good as is the vlrsn and tidy engine room.
I like the mix of boat show and at sea. I don't suppose you'd get a chance of a sea trial.
Two questions. How many nautical miles is she capable of?

I can never understand why the traditional design for cockpit furniture has a long sofa facing INWARDS. Ofc if it’s customisable a buyer can specify otherwise but I don’t know why this isn’t standard 😅 Well done to the builders like Galeon and Sunseeker who have recognised this faux pas

I love your tours but when you're describing or pointing to a feature, sometimes you don't film it. Also when you list your specs can you please put the travel range at each speed ie flat out, cruising and displacement? Always good to watch your videos. Fix those two things and you'd be top dog.
This video seemed a bit rushed though, but still liked it.
Lovely yacht, seems like an interior dinning spot would be a better fit at 5:36. Top speed of 29 knots is impressive with a decent range at 960nm @ 9.5 knots :) No stabilizers mentioned but appeared to have them in the outside shot at 5:51
Stabilisers are mentioned and shown around 7.15. And he mentioned stabilisers again around the 9.00 mark

The crew space is a hard no. If I bought this boat I would redesign the crew space to integrate it into the guest area. Because to be honest the guest leave my crew stay and look after things. So yeah…
