Very nice tour! It was just after you apologized to the crew for intruding and I was thinking to myself how polite the British are,,,,,,,, then the door incident. That fact that you didnt edit it out and let us all have a little chuckle at your expense makes me appreciate you all the more.
Thanks for the laugh, I think that's the first time I've ever seen someone do that live on a boat tour....you handled the situation like a pro...cheers.
Not sure a pro would have walked into a door in the first place but I’ll take it anyway! Thanks
indeed!
27:55 I had to rewind that a few times just to make sure it wasn't funny 🤪, hats off for not editing that out👍, anyway, what a gorgeous yacht that is and a great tour from Hugo as usual, thanks. 👍❤️🇬🇧
Thanks, turns out you really do have to suffer for your art 😉
Thank you so much for keeping the walk into the glass door and not editing it out. I lost my father recently and we shared a love of boats and the water, that walk into the glass door gave me the best laugh I've had in 2 weeks. Thank you.
Sorry to hear about your father, such a big loss at any stage of life.
So sorry for your loss.
27:54 Oh my god, I feel very sorry for laughing!! It happens to all of us man, don't worry hahah.
What an Italian beauty... wouldn't mind living on that yacht 🤩
Walking into the door. Was amazing. And kudos to you for not editing it out.
All part of the service!
So many mirrors down there - it was like a scene from Enter The Dragon. That, and clear plate glass doors, seem to make this quite a dangerous yacht!
Great tour. You give a better balanced overview than many others - pointing out how San Lorenzo is different is important and how their design works. More info, less cooing. I don't like the closet doors so it's nice to know that I can get what I want.
Lovely tour with the added walking into a glass door comedy.
Another informative tour Hugo , too many mirrors and glass doors for me, but despite those cosmetic issues this is still a lovely superyacht with high end fixtures and fittings!
It's not my cup of tea either, thankfully Sanlorenzo lets you customise basically EVERYTHING.
hey Motor Boat & Yachting ... Awesome tour ... Appreciate the level of detail & use of ship terminology to make sure we know what we are looking at & don't get lost below deck ... ps. Hope you recovered from your encounter with the glass door ... Much respect ... Mark (Toronto) 👍🌊⚓
Feeling particularly daft that I actually closed the door and then walked into it!
@@hugoandreae3785 hey Hugo ... it's only human ... you could always edit "bloopers" to end of your video ... nothings perfect so why not celebrate with a laugh ... Mark
I've always wondered what having an assymetric design does for weight distribution. Is there something done to balance the offset or is it insignificant?
I’m sure the naval architects do take that into account or the boat wouldn’t sit level but I will try to find out for you next time I review one.
Guessing, but the engines will be symmetrically distributed and form the bulk of the weight distribution.
It doesn't seem like it would be fun to dock with not deck access down the port side.
Thank you for a great tour of this vessel. I just keep hoping to find a San Lorenzo which I like, but there is something consistent with them and that is that they lack a strong galley size and helm station.
Oh Hugo, that was a proper crash. I do hope you are ok. Fab tour, out-takes included !
Lekker man lekker 🇿🇦

Absolutely beautiful flybridge table
great video........glad you didnt get hurt or busted the window......
How would you crew this boat? Captain, chef, deckhand, steward? Would 4 crew be enough?
Slam of the year! 😅 El yate es excelente.
One of the best interior design in its class best 100fter.
I think the best san lorenzo interior design so far are sl90 sl96 sd90 those 3 .
Here are specs.
San lorenzo Sl90 8.5mil euro 9.2mil usd
Sl96 9.49mil euro 10.2mil usd
Sd90 8.5mil usd interior by Patricia Urquiola
sd96 9.3mil euro interior by Patricia Urquiola
Sl90 seven interior design by zuccon international design
Sl90 eight13 by zuccon too
Sl96 match by zuccon too
stunning !!
Was surprised to see no dropdown decks or balconies.
Loved the tour, but not a fan of the boat styling/layout, esp. that cramped engine room. Glad it's not just me who walks into glass doors...
I can’t figure out how come a 90 foot four cabin boat is so cramped. I mean it’s a lovely thing, but I can think of boats I’d prefer for the same or less money.
Hugo can't access secret compartment on flybridge. Years of SAS training let's him know that's where the Browning Hi-Power and Sig Sauer MCX Rattler is in case of pirate attacks. Nods in appreciation for practicality, but knows a Glock would have been better for sea operations.
In all seriousness though, one thing I like about these is the engineering and the ruggedness on a GRP hull, but to me this is a gimmick without real practicality. Like the crew hung to clean that side of the yacht involves either hanging over a railing, or strapping into a Harken rail. With only 2 or 3 crew a d you need 2 crew members when something like that is going on, you've essentially tied up your whole crew.
living room feels more like a foyer
Didn't think that there was many croatians who can afford this boat. Country only has 3.8 million people
❤
Nick did this before
The view from the helm is not good
Aquaholic ✅
sorry but I'm having a hard time hearing you over that popped collar.
Very badly designed engine room.
I doubt if it's solid marble, just to heavy, and it's definitely not copper, so wrong fact's, not a good review if you don't know what your doing , take a page out of Nick's book, he's a professional at this
