i love this so much. i learnt a lot from this video and it’s very intriguing to understand the concept behind this. how interesting it is to think our ancestors believe there’s still life after death. i love it and i do believe there is still life after death. nothing goes to waste. thank you for sharing with us. God bless. i give thanks to our forefathers ❤
I am happy you found the video useful. Yes, no one knows what lies ahead after life so I wouldn't doubt our ancestors. Thanks very much for your feedback.
We knew about life after death wayyyy before Europeans came to Africa with their bible. Our life after death is different from their Heaven or Hell theory.
Excellent documentary. Thank you million times for explaining our rich tradion .Even though am a Ghanian, little did I knew about our tradition..Plss keep it up to educate the young generation..it's worthet knowing our culture and tradition.Thank you ❤
I appreciate how you present your content. Nice work! I think some parts of our funeral process can be avoided, because it's truly a waste of money. I just concluded my mom's funeral, therefore I am talking from experience.
I'm very sorry about your mum. That's very true. Funerals are not cheap (from someone who's buried both parents). I blame the modernisation, as I think if we stuck with what our forefathers and mothers did, it wouldn't be this expensive. Thanks very much for your feedback.
Personally, I think funeral is becoming too time consuming and expensive, especially in Africa and Caribbean. The family is not only grieving, but financially stress. In the old days in Jamaica, in rural communities, funeral was a communal affair. The whole community contributed towards the funeral, but today everything is on the family. Back then when a person died at home, the body was washed and kept in the house until burial, and certain local people would sing for free. Now you have to pay to have a band: to play and sing. Funeral today is a financial stress!
@@kmensa5301 I wouldn't say that is entirely true about a society that cares for their elders at home till death and not in an adult home. The lady who's funeral I used for this video was cared for until her death.
Newly Ghanaian American! It's amazing to watch and learn what was not tough to me as a child . Thank you

Very true. I even say when someone pass nowadays, we mourn our pockets instead of the dead.
Try a MONTH before the actual funeral rites happen at least for the Asante's in Tema & Asante Bekoe...
🔥🔥🔥🔥🙆♀️🙆🐓cleaning ur areas communities envriopmentsss instead of showing oooff 🙆♀️🙆🐓🇬🇭
Ok
I think tradition is tradition but the expenses is too much.Look at all the things they displayed, very beautiful however it's costly.
Very true.
Bullshit ; you don’t care about people but with all these bs rites after death
