Picked this up last night at Home Depot along with the Brushless Angle Grinder. Came together as a 2-tool kit for $139. Basically got the jigsaw for free considering the regular price of the angle grinder by itself is $139. Sweet deal!
Know what the SKU is on that kit? I'm looking for the jig saw and grinder as well.
@@cp_guitars it looks like that must have been a promotional kit at the time that I purchased it. Home Depot no longer has the 2-tool kit listed on their website.
Just got this at Home Depot as a kit..2-4ah batteries, charger, and a case for $199..pretty good deal.
Right now it’s on sale for $179, includes a 6ah and 4ah battery.
Can't wait to pick this one up! Great review! Thanks!
Mine is awesome. Got mine on sale for $100. My blower does seem to work pretty good though. Mine is the one with auto feature also. Maybe that makes a difference. Love mine.
That blade storage is great!
I've got the Octane flavor...it's good...
Thanks TJ!🏁
Can you recommend a guide that fits the rigid jigsaw and rigid 6.5” circular saw?
Hey Shop Tool Reviews can you do a review on the new ridgid backpack sprayer?
Change the vacuum to blow?
How is it compared to the octane version R8832?
Is there a huge difference between this one and the "Octain" version?
Could you open it so we can check if it has same tiny motor and horrible build quality like Milwaukee model? Thanks :)
Thanks for another great video brother. I am in the market for a jig saw. I have Milwaukee m12, m18 and Skil pwr core 20 platforms. I honestly do not have a lot of need for one but its a tool that when you need it, you need it. Im holding off until the Milwaukee pipeline in hopes of a new m12 fuel jig saw. If not then that Skil brushless is looking really good. So far the Skil new XP 7 1/2" circular saw and 5" brushless orbital sander is performing exceptionally well. I honestly do like this Ridgid im just wondering if adding another platform is worth it. Im looking at around 260.00 for saw, batteries and charger. Thats a decent chunk to invest in a jig saw.
Could you possibly review the new Skil 1/2" mid impact (800/480) and their Brushless 20v jig saw?
Thanks again brother.
I think you'd be better off with spending that $260 for a quality tool alone for a battery platform that you already have. The M18 seems good. Just my 2 cents.
The similarities to the Hart version is impossible to miss.
They're made by the same company, and I own the Hart one and I don't know if it's worth upgrading. They look identical.
TTI owns Hart but Emerson Electric actually owns Ridgid. TTI just manufactures the tool designs they get from Ridgid. So either Ridgid copied Hart, or Hart copied Ridgid if they’re that close to being the same lol but you can’t go wrong with most tools these days anyways. So just use whatever works for you!
Nice looking saw . Wouldn’t pay over $150 WITH battery & charger though . Because it’s another brand platform .
Ëxpensive for what it is. For this price you can get a Metabo.
You can get these online for less than $100. And I can tell you they are worth it.
