The thing about everyone wanting to beat us and seeing kc as their SB & kc has been used to it for the last 6 yrs. It’s not a scenario and energy that is off putting to kc at all. In fact it’s all they know.

Chiefs are going to be better on offense than they were last year. They aren’t going to lead the league in drops again like they did last season. It’s really amazing they won the superbowl with how many flaws their offense had. They always have a tough schedule but they will be a better team this year.

It's an accomplishment for sure, but I think it's funny you neglected the fact that they had arguably the best defense in football last year.
Their offense was not anything special, even with Mahomes. They wouldn't have even sniffed the SB with a 15th ranked defense.
We'll see how McDuffie does without LJ on the other side, I think he'll be really good still, but you can't know that.
It's annoying how every NFL fan seems to think Mahomes is the reason they won the SB when it was actually their defense. (And Mahomes is obviously goat-tier, not hating)

I saw a prediction that had the chiefs would have 5 games at least where they give up 30 or more points which is absolutely ridiculous not since week 4 of last season has that happened the defense will be better the offense will be back on track I don't see them losing but I won't say they go undefeated so I'll say 2 or 3 games lost but they will most definitely will the superbowl

The Ravens are WORSE than they were last season. Lamar is always way overrated as a passer! Stone, OBJ, Queen, 60% of the starting OL, DC and two top assistants gone. Don’t oversell the Henry signing he hasn’t been impactful for 4 years. This team is in for a step back…
Stone was backup, PQ was good because of Roquan so that's not much of a loss, OBJ is washed= not a loss, drafted OL and got some as UDFA, and the Ravens defense is always stellar Top 10 every year so that's a reach.
That defense was what it was last year because of the DC. He’s gone, it’s not just going to pick up where it left off. Especially after losing pieces. They’ll be good but not what they were. I’d be more concerned about the offense. Lamar is always overrated as a passer! Ever since Polian said he wasn’t a QB. The media has felt the need to massively overcorrect! The offense is going to be much better because the one “weakness “ was the WR room. I believe that Veach has fixed it just like he did the O line after Patrick was running 🏃 for his life in SB55. I feel like they will be more focused this year especially given their schedule for the season the bye week is earlier than it was last year. I find week 7 and 8 to be interesting because they play the 49ers and Raiders are after the by week. No more of this “ Patrick can’t win on the road “ because he’s proven that he can do it.
It looks like they get the 49ers off a bye week. Reid is very gooe with bye week games.
I think this schedule is brutal. The 3 games in 10 days in December are no joke.

The 3 games in 10 days is literally the only difficult part, the teams they're playing are not in any way a juggernaut.
I'm just a Colts fan, but I think the Ravens initial 4-5 games are ridiculous and much harder than anything the Chiefs have to go thru.

2024 Schedule Analysis -
There are 6 games wherein the Chiefs will play on a Rest Surplus vs. their Opponent, 2 Games at a Rest Deficit, and 9 Games at Rest Neutral. The Chief's season taken as a whole will net a Rest Surplus (favorable to the Chiefs) of +7 days - 124 days at a surplus and 117 games at a deficit. The Chiefs will play on everyday of the week other than Tuesday. This has not happened since the 1927 NFL New York (Football) Yankees. How 'bout that for a fun fact to know and tell. The Chiefs will play in 3 Sunday Noon games, 5 Sunday 3 o'clock(ish) games, 2 Sunday Night games (7:00), 1 Saturday game (Noon) , 1 Thursday Night game (7:20), 2 Monday Night games (7:15) , 1 Black Friday game (2:00), 1 Christmas Wednesday game (12:00) , and 1 Sunday game, Time TBD (Game 17, Week 18 vs Broncos). The Chiefs will play in 5 "Stand Alone" games (defined as the only NFL game played on that date). I hope you all find that informative.
Chiefs have no competition in their division so the regular season is irrelevant. No matter who chiefs lose ro or win against, chiefs are in the playoffs.
Not happy at all about the BYE week being week 6 and then playing an NFC team. That is pretty much useless especially if the other AFC playoff contenders have their BYE late in the season or before a challenging AFC opponent.

Falcons, Chargers, Saints - playoff level teams
That looks like 3-2
49ers - best team in NFL
Bills - seems to have Chiefs # in regular season
Raiders, Bucs, Broncos - 2 divisional games and a playoff team
Looks like 3-2
- Panthers, Raiders: get right and go 2-0
Chargers, Browns, Texans: seems like 2-1 possibly 1-2
so they have 9 or 10 wins after 15 weeks and really need to win the last 2 to win the division and make the playoffs.
Steelers, Broncos, let's say 2-0.
Seems like another 11-6 year (I'm a Chiefs fan but like to keep the expectations low), if the Chargers cakewalk schedule gets them the Cardinals, Patriots, and Titans compared to the Chiefs getting the 49ers, Bills, and Texans, they might win the division
