    I never really thought about the reasons why military members don’t get involved with politics. This was very informative.

    Good to know. My brother’s thinking about joining the military but still undecided on the branch. I’ll send this to him.

    In my experience the national guard and reserve are less strict about some of this depending. I feel like off duty out of uniform National Guard members are able to actively participate in certain political events partisan or otherwise.

    Can you make a video about the life and rules inside the mission or in the barracks. Is the military allows to take videocalls or voice calls while inside their barracks? Thanks

    as a fervent 2A supporter, I often wonder why people would feel the entitled right to keep a firearm on them like its a part of their clothes even in a secured location like a US military installation..seems hella sus.

    So just to be clear, you're allowed to carry a firearm off base as long as it's within the law of that state/location. Would it matter if you're in uniform and having it on your person? Or would you have to be in civilian clothes?

    I've been AWOL for almost 2 years. I'm about to turn myself in soon, prior to this my record is clean. Will I get a dishonorable? Will they force me to complete my contract?

    Would civil rights advocacy be forbidden for active military members?
    Also, would you get in trouble if you watch a lot of partisan tiktoks and share them between your friends/repost them without revealing your actual identity?

    Question, is a political sticker on your private vehicle considered an endorsement of a particular party?

    • @ashleynoelle
      @ashleynoelle  2 года назад +1

      Not necessarily. A service member may display a political bumper sticker on their private vehicle (DoD Directive 1344.10, para 4.1.1.8). If the person is a commander or in a high position of leadership in the unit, there are other implications they may want to consider before putting a political sticker on their car, but per the DoDD, it would still be permissible.

    Hey, I'm currently working my way into the air force but I have a spouse I'm entering with, she is currently on Xanax, would that need to be cleared through any medical area or any area of security forces, regarding it being a controlled substance on installation?

    • @ashleynoelle
      @ashleynoelle  3 года назад

      Hey there! As long as she has a prescription for it (and probably keeps it in the prescription bottle, in case her bag ever gets searched), she shouldn't need to do anything special for installation access.

    Are there travel restrictions during leisure time?

    • @ashleynoelle
      @ashleynoelle  Год назад

      There may be, depending on the situation. If it’s just a weekend and you’re not on official leave status, you may be restricted from traveling outside a certain mile radius from your installation. Those restrictions are generally set by the installation commander. If you’re on official leave status, you’re not restricted from travel within the US, but if you’re going overseas, you may need special clearance to enter certain countries.

    So basically you guys think that you can protect freedom by taking the freedom of your soldiers??? Also, why US loves to talk so much about freedom of speech to justify allowing hate speech in social media, white supremacists parades and stuff like that… but god forbidden if a soldier speak negatively about the president??? Tell me more about how hypocritical that is…
    To me it’s ok, if inside the US people accept this kinda of nonsense it’s their problem but the issue is when the US gets into other countries business using as an excuse the whole “freedom thing”, that is something I can’t understand.
