Tbh, i have been using the edge as my main browser for years
The first reason is because the edge is "lighter" than chrome on my ancient machine (open faster & less memory, at least on my ancient machine)
Some other reasons are the in-built vertical tab with grouping, less "head" section (especially better for low res/height display) so i can see more content, & i can open tens of tabs just fine (idk maybe because the edge also put sleep unused tabs) but i can still open my other tools like my development tools (VS 20xx, DBMS, etc.) on machines with 8GB of RAM... & the only "configuration" that needed to be done for it is just change the bar to be vertical (few clicks)

Yeah yeah, tiny11 also uninstalls packages with full version names, which means that as soon as a system app is updated it doesn’t work anymore. Btw, removing edge also removes webview, which means that teams is broken, Microsoft store is broken, virtually anything that is a web app is broken. Hope that helps! Btw, a coworker of mine is developing his own version of optimised win11, and it already is smaller than tiny11. Stay up to date!

It's just so natural for a Windows user like me (been there since 3.0) to really wait n see until the almost 'perfect' OS (no other choice) sits in front of you. My worst experience was Windows Me (Millenium) my first ever downgrade and my precious lesson on not giving your hopes up on to a new OS (Longhorn, Vista, 8...etc) until everything settles down and stable.

vista is a windows 7 but 2 years later (meant to be in 2007 hence the name of seven) and with so many problems that I've never seen any serious system administrator running the computers under vista. to be exact some faved to stay on XP, showing vista is such a gateway to problems more than end of support XP was at that time. that's also why microsoft gave pro versions more time about EOL sec updates.

I think that Win11 is perfect for laptops, totally, I couldn't use a laptop with 10 simply because it lacks a few functions here and there and the OS is simply less polished for some things. But I strongly believe that Windows 10 is still the best option for desktops or to simply get the best performance out of a computer.
Windows 10 is lightweight. Easily debloatable and the UI is faster/simplier, and easier to use. But it lacks functions, it feels old after using 11.
Windows 11 is okay, but it's a fact that it's just an even more bloated windows 10, it's slower, glitchier, and leaving that aside, even if it has a good UI, the file explorer has been utterly fkced up, sincerely, it's horrible. The right click menu is sincerely the worst thing on this OS. It's HORRIBLE. But still, it's an okay OS.
