@@scienceevolves4417 She did interviews with Anna during Norway Chess, which was a bigger tournament for her than the Olympiad. Wouldn't be shocking if she did some interviews.
Oh, Anna, you are so wise to accept input so gracefully. It's very nice to see. You're so incredible and learning in front of the world! How brave you are.
Josefine gave a nice interview on a german channel after the game where she analysed the moves. She mentioned immediately that anna always plays this 4 knights sicilian with 3 variations so she knew exactly what to prepare for and was ready with the best lines. So when a4 was played and she didn't recognise the move she knew that this was her chance to push for an advantage...
would have liked some analysis on why bishop b4 check followed by bishop a5! I thought that might have been the best attempt in the lost position that couldn't be saved, but no-one mentioned it once, not even Anna in the post match despite the time spent calculating the move. Allows for knight infiltration but no check mate and some chances of queen escape?
Cuidado : Next match, against Portugal, Elo 2187, 2005, 1925, 1913, 1843. 💘 Love U, ANNA, PIA, and GM Hammer 💘 (Anna, 3 weeks ago, in Portugal you played a brilliant tournament, the "Maia Chess Open", uploaded on your Channel. You were wonderful, stay yourself, quiet, strategic and amazing.)
@@stefantewes314 Thanks for the info. I suspected this may happen, but hope that it doesn't end up with her finding it hard not to think about yesterday's game.
It seems Anna is trying to memorize openings rather than analyzing them properly. You should always start with your own ideas what to play in some position and only then to check them with the computer to see why some very appealing ideas do not work though they are perfectly fine in a slightly different position.
Seems like Hammer is suggesting to her to learn more , less complicated openings( seems like higher rated and well coached players know her openings and weaknesses better than she does)and stop using up her time calculating end games too early when too many factors can change. She needs to play basic, solid chess(she’s not a grandmaster and needs to stop trying play like one) start being competitive against players slightly higher rated than her.

Sweden was no match for Germany .... and Mr. Hammer: Do look for a real job and dont unnerve unsuspecting youtube watchers with stupid comments and analysis ... we have our own Stockfish engine
Not to be too critical, but Hammer keeps saying over and over again, you shouldn't play such a sharp opening if you don't know it, yep, I get it. But I disagree that you are doomed to lose by not having one memorized, you just have to do some calculations which, sorry to say Anna is very poor at. I've seen her spend a ridiculous amount of time analyzing a position, like she did today, only to make a horrific blunder like Qxa3. Also she played the completely insane a4 after almost no thought, making me think she was 'psyched out' by her opponent and the importance of the game, subconsciously believing she couldn't win
The problem with chess is that it's not sufficient to develop your skills. No matter how hard you try, it remains also a gambling game. It's like predicting the weather.
Hammer, you are brilliant at this. Thanks for stepping up while they are both playing.

Agreed.... I enjoy only seen her ❤ loool...but true broo go Anna go! 💪
Thanks, Hammer, for sharing your knowledge!
We need Pia interviews after her games!
I guess she would prefer to be fully focused on the tournament only 🙂

Pia needs her own channel or we need a post match interview with her, would be interesting to hear a GM GM interview between Hammer and Pia

"I didn't expect my opponent to be prepared" is the wrong approach to chess.

Definitely a tough loss and again lifelong chess lessons learned. You live to fight another day. Keep your chin up.

Stand proud. You are strong. 🗿

The commentary was excessive; less interruption would have been better to enjoy the action.
In classical the moves happen only every 10 minutes or so, you want him to be silent for 30 minutes at a time?
This guy is so annoying to listen to. I’m going to find somewhere else to watch the match or even go as far as to watch a post game segment.
