Now, I'm no where near playing her bot.. I'm still on the 700-1100's. However, 7/10 times, when I open with the cow, they respond with "what are you trying to do?" Pia's bot, needs to say "Anna, is that you?" When it's played against her bot.
I think they also are just a very good family. In the sense that they seem so loving towards each other. All in this family are so lucky to have each other. They seem positive as well and have a positive view on life. When I see them I feel such warmth, in a way that only caring families have.
11:32 Anyone notice that Pia AND the bot said the exact same thing at the exact same time? I don't think Pia read that comment from the bot at all, she hadn't been that entire game, she is so focused on the board..... Wow, that is amazing 🤯 Edit: upon more careful inspection, it does look like her eyes move there.... So she probably did read it... Mind unblown😂
She's great. The complete inattention to bot commentary, even when pointed out is pretty funny. Especially when it says things she later says -- although not always word for word.
Pia Cramling to the Pia bot.....What is this???? Haha. I love this family. I adore the way Anna just glances at her Mum in admiration what a beautiful family
This video is so adorable. Funny how your mom was fully focused on the game and you had to point out the Pia bot's comments. Now I do want to see a Pia (human) vs the Anna bot game.
So lovely seeing the two of you. It's clear there is a lot of love you have for each other. Well done to pia beating the bot version of herself too. :)
I think the bot was self-praising too much. Real Pia would say something "I've been playing for multiple years" instead of "I was the #1 ranked woman in the world".
@@ivans.8352 The user interface already displays info about the bot before the game starts and that can have this kind of info. The bot should have realistic chat lines.
this video show how competitive you need to be to become a pro chess player. even though she plays against a bot for a entertainment video, she's completely locked in
Pia always gives me earworms 😂. She's always saying "This looks logical" or "That is logical" and as soon as she does, my brain starts hearing Supertramp (The Logical Song) for the rest of the day 😂😂
I absolutely love and support her! She has such great commentary when Anna is playing tournament games. She gets so passionate. Perfect mom and daughter.
I am on the bandwagon since the Netflix Queens Gambit. I am still fairly terrible at chess even with 1000+ games now played - yet I still play and really absolutely love the pureness of watching chess streamers. Anna + the Family dynamic has been such a great reality show evolution, as you guys have all become world class "influencers".
I was suggesting to Anna, mrs Nemo Zhou and co. that they all (just thinking now, plus Pia) should get together and do their own Netflix show or a serial, I am convinced it would be a great success, but got no reply.
As a very very very beginner, I'm surprised at how GMs play. They develop their edge pawns, and don't castle very soon at all. This is beyond my level, clearly 😂
What I like best about these mother/daughter videos is to see how much love and respect you have for your mom and vice versa. Thanks for sharing Pia with us.
I forget to mention I played against the bot last week and that was brutally crushing me everytime that I played. hope someday I can be able to play against herself in reality.
Same here. When I was with lichess I was around 1500 so after "Pia" I tried "Wendy", 1500, the one that talks about firewood, and usually I win 30% of games, could do better if I tried harder. "Thalia", 1800, is also beating me but in one game out of 25 I won nicely, that's probably my best game ever.
Watching the game, I was wondering why 10. NxB was not played, instead of Bf4, because I seldom miss an opportunity to exchange a knight for a well-placed bishop. Later, Stockfish gave +0.33 for NxB and +0.18 for Bf4, at a depth of 37 ply.
Pia is just too good. I played her bot and so far I've only lost. I'm not a 1500+ but still she beat it first try. I love seeing her play. Everything seems so relaxed with Pia
It's interesting that Pia takes advantage of the fact that you can move the piece digitally to visualize without consequences compared to a real tournament, where if you touch it you have to move it
I love this video! Pia, the obvious chess genius she is, playing her bot next to Anna, the youtube genius that she is! So often Anna would seek comments from her mom about what the bot was saying, looking for that content, and we got to see her mom being Pia, focused on the chess, and dominating like she does! I love how this video shows both of their genuises, and how as a mother/daughter combination they work so in sync while approaching from different intellectual talent perspectives! Just heartwarming and nice to see!
I think on the GM level, it would be ridiculously hard to get more that 40% in a Bot of what the actual person might do. When expert players do reviews of their game, like Anna, that is how Pia is thinking when she is playing. She is going what she could do, what would happen if she did do something, what she shouldn't do.
I liked when Anna asks her mom if watching her play stressed her out and she responds with yes, absolutely…just a wonderful dynamic between mother and daughter
Amazing that Pia had her peak rating twice a decade apart, truly an inspirational person. Well done for beating the bot Anna! Pia is just such a lovely person, you can tell where Anna gets it from :-)!
This was a fun video! It's amazing watching the real Pia think out moves and see her strategy. She has unbelievable board sense. And there is nothing hurried or out of control at any time. PS I played the Pia bot and got crushed.
She comes from the era of Human vs Machine in chess, when she peaked in rating that was around the time Deep blue beat Kasparov and it was a huge deal, she probably instinctively took this game really seriously because of that
I got here because I was looking into the new bot and what a treat this video is! I may revisit it a few times, seeing the actual Pia Cramling play and talk about here thought process during the game I think is really educational for less experienced players like me. Thank you so much for sharing! Edit: Also after seeing this, I'm sure both the bot and the real Pia Cramling would grind me into dust on the board. Edit 2: That fearless, calm and collected pawn-race though! Amazing!
You two are soooo cute, I can't. And Pia is sooooo much more of a sweetheart than that little graphic of her ever could be, just look at that happy face on the main image, I can't, I can't
Pia has absolutely no interest in discussion her bot’s comments lol
I love how she's so focused on the game but I also wanted to see her reaction of her bot bragging about her😂
@@florencephiliawayong8894 Ha I know! When Pia is playing chess, she cares about nothing but the game.
She just loves the game. It's super endearing. She's really charitable with her insights too so all her words are dedicated to the game.

The Cramling smile is contagious. Their passion for chess is so inspiring, which I believe is the highest compliment one can receive.
This! I love that there is a Pia Cramling bot but I do feel the bot does not accurately represent the Smile, could be better!
I think they also are just a very good family. In the sense that they seem so loving towards each other. All in this family are so lucky to have each other. They seem positive as well and have a positive view on life. When I see them I feel such warmth, in a way that only caring families have.
Anna is like an emoji in a world of 🗿🗿🗿🗿
Pia is the best. She has so many iconic phrases. We need the bot to start saying “shocking moving” and “that is very logical”
I'm pretty sure that it did say that "it's logical".
but maybe I just imagined it.
ANNA MOVED THE QUEEN TO A4! ANNA MOVED THE QUEEN TO A4 THIS IS A SHOCKING MOVE (announcer voice in lowercase)
“This is very normal”

NO WRINKLES!
I love how Anna looks

Crazy that a daughter loves her mother, shocking really
That endgame was surgical. So impressive. My 1700 self was panicking when the black rook got to C1, but Pia saw it all already 3 moves ago.
gotta throw in dat rating in every comment
whole rook was hanging and she casually planned it 3 moves ago...
She's great. The complete inattention to bot commentary, even when pointed out is pretty funny. Especially when it says things she later says -- although not always word for word.
My mom is a professor in physics and they're exactly the same when working. 😅 No care for anything else but the deep analysis they're thinking.
The way pia talks and plays is so incredibly relaxing, also just fun to watch high-level chess without loud commentary

Pia would destroy the Anna bot
@ishzarkklyon9590 Pia could beat anna bot with 3 pawn odds easily. If I could do it Pia could do it blindfolded
It's really nice to see you and your mum having fun together. Make the best of those times they are special.
Pia's hairstyle is way better than the bot's
She has beautiful layers that they probably just couldn't be bothered to add to the design, they try to make it as simple as possible.
The bot looks like what Pia usually look 👍
Imagine you have a mom who is always two moves ahead of you
Must be hard to rebel as your mom has already calculated all your next moves 😂

Anna!!! At minute 11:34 both the Bot and your Mom said "And now we have this Problem" at the same time!!!!
