Gary deserves a lifetime achievement award for all the wonderful entertainment his given us all these years, your Dads a true Legend, from a totally smitten fan ❤🇬🇧
He started out in the early 70s in Tulsa Oklahoma as Leon Russell's drummer and playing the character Teddy Jack Eddy on a late-night TV show with Gaylord Sartain called, Mazeppa's Uncanny Film Festival.
In my opinion Gary has always been a great actor and great musician, the sad thing is life and its addictions, caught up with him like it has with a lot of other great Actors and Musicians. God bless you Gary and thank you for your life through your films and music, Bless you and your family and friends.
Wow, You guys are awesome. Didn't know there was music in the Busey genes till I read Gary's book. Gary I am a huge fan, your attitude has helped me get thru some bad times. Love you brother! Jake... Super awesome drumming!!!!!!!
❤The Busey Family, love this song guys, Gary is in good voice and Jakes drumming 👌This song gives me Buddy Holly Mona vibes Beautiful executed 🥰🔥🔥🔥❤❤❤❤🇬🇧
Damn. I'm watching him on CBB UK & he had me thinking he's a shambling wreck. I'm amazed that he can pull out this energy and coherence from somewhere.
Viewed Jake Busey on The Talk and learned about his dad's band and thought I would take a listen and, sure enough, Gary Busey has a great voice and Jake is a great drummer. Just as Jake said, his father's music has its influence from The Band.
Hey great song ! Loving Gary on CBB UK, he's got the measure of those gits in there and he's playing them beautifully ! What a great Housemate, hope he wins !
i believe he is. what bubby holly what have been today if had survived the crush bubby would probably still be rockin at 78 just gary is today long live bubby holly though gary busey you rock
Hey Jake! Diane, the kids and I just watched it all together. Man it was awesome! So cool to be able to do that with your dad! My daughter Claire loved the drums and wants a set for Christmas,,might have to make that happen sooner! Take care and we'd love to see you on a certain zombie TV show!
After having years of pleasure watching Gary on film. Also seeing him on CBBUK All I can say I have never felt so much love for another man as I feel for Gary. He is truly enlightened with no badness in him at all. Bless you Gary.and thank you.
Super rad to see you & pops jaming out again. What makes this even more precious is your ladys in the studio with their happy & beautiful vibes. Maybe eventually you guys could hook up with my dad to jam out again as well. He's still in Thousand Oaks area! I miss you all.. so great to see you do this together ♥ ~ Melody.
I may be entirely too late to this party. It would indeed appear that this is the case. But I have to say, this is a surpsingly effective song. Just throwing this out there, from a guy who Gary just kind of randomly kept trying to nudge with his car in the parking lot of the Ralphs in Malibu a little over a year back. Not even mad at the nudge...he showed a great deal of vehicular control. But I was wondering what would have to happen to get the permissions to re-record the song?
Jake Busey your father is an oracle jake , as soon as mentioned the androgynous voice i knew hes sending out transmissions to those in the know unique = eunock / enock

Yes totally! as you can hear, it may need a lead Guit-fiddle line...:)
That was surprisingly really good! Did not know Old Gary had such a good singing voice, looking forward to his new album.
He sang all the songs for the "Buddy Holly Story," for which he got an Oscar nomination.
Jake solidly in the pocket on this song
Where is the rest of this album?? This is great!
Just a note... at 3:18 he channels Buddy again... THAT is the Gary I wish would come back for a visit!

If Buddy Holly were alive today, this song sounds like something he'd write and sing 🤘🎸
Like your song and you're still handsome.
Your playing reminds me of Richie Heyward. Nice.
probably the biggest compliment you could lay down, cuz!
Jake Busey your father is an oracle jake , as soon as mentioned the androgynous voice i knew hes sending out transmissions to those in the know unique = eunock / enock
