Welcome to the Letterman RUclips Channel, home to all your favorite clips from Late Night and Late Show - as well as conversations with the writers, producers and performers who helped make it all happen. The language may strike you as quaint & flowery, the clothing comically lacey & ornate - but that’s how things were back in this colorful and now bygone era. Развлечения
This is 4 years before his motorcycle accident. His brain was fully functioning here.
That’s what I was thinking about too
Yeah. This was a long time before the accident. Dave had him on soon after the accident too.
that's his fully functioning form? yikes!
He seems pretty much the same as post accident Busey
Functioning yes fully ... Maybe 🤔
Busey doesn't get enough credit for his acting ability. Even with his Best Actor Oscar nomination for The Buddy Holly Story, people seem to forget he's a very good and entertaining actor
He plays a great whacko
Oh he’s not playing
FYI Gary is 79 and alive.
That answers my question.
Gary makes our life complet 🎉 Exuberance ❤️
Him n Keith Richards should do podcasts together 🤔
Good on him!❤
The guy is a natural entertainer.
The movie clip usually isn't included, so I appreciate seeing the scene from 'The Bear' with the interview. Hope this starts a trend.
I had no idea about the motorcycle accident...i just thought he was a little crazy.
Why doesn't this surprise me? 😂
The look of this show is striking, even today. It has such a perfect vintage look.
Thank you for sharing such a quality master. Getting my mind off my troubles for 11 mins.
Gary is so bright and aware. Mmm. Feel for the guy.
Gary knows Nick Nolte haha. Somehow makes sense. They want to sing together. This doesn't though, really. Haha.
I always confused Nolte and Busey for some reason
I had never heard of The Bear searched its 99% on rotten tomaties. Time to buy the bluray lol
He was always great at comedy. Idk if I laugh more at him before the motorcycle wreck or after. Either way, he’s a legend.
Legends aren’t in Predator 2.
@@gilson1982 are you really crying about a movie that came out over 30 years ago?
@@DefinitelyNotBender - Fair enough. Legends aren’t in Eye of the Tiger. (I could do this all day. That man isn’t in one single good movie.)
@gilson1982 you really going to just flat out disrespect Rookie of the Year??? Chet "The Rocket" Steadman is legendary!
@@gilson1982point break
The Man The Legend 👑
Christ, I can’t be the only person who checks google even before watching the video for the obit. It’s a Gosh darn crapshoot every single time.
I used to do the same w Bob Hope
He’s an absolute cuckoo with or without the accident. But he is an absolute character and still gives me that tender heart vibes.
Busey’s a pretty good actor. I think he should’ve had a bigger career.
Motor bike accident
Y'know it's celebrities like Gary Busey, Steven Seagal & Christopher Walken that make the entertainment industry.....entertaining.
i get your point, but Busey and Walken are actually good actors though. Seagal is a train wreck.
Man, throwing Busey in the same boat as 2 liars
Of course he did.
Gary Busey and Keith Richards are proof zombies exist!😂😂😂
They showed the film clip 😮
G.B. for Presidency!
We were mere boys that looked up to Gary Busy. 👍
Speak for yourself.
Calm down wolfman
Wikipedia says he's alive. But is he okay?
Um, he is not.
After getting brain damage from a motorcycle wreck he’s hardly ever ok anymore.
Not for decades now.
Are any of us?
So Gary Busey and Nick Nolte were almost in a room together?
Funny seeing this comment, few weeks ago I was swearing and taking it to my grave that Busey was the coach in Blue Chips. Neither me or my buddy remembered the name Nick Nolte and he was right that it wasnt Busey once we googled it of course haha
Only a dollar?!?
Those white shoes shoes remind me of the DIRT BAG cheap chuckys I'd keep together w duct tape and a prayer 🙏🏻🤔
What's so impressive about a bear? He built a high performance three wheeled chair for his nephew AND helped kill a werewolf..
Did Gary Busey die? Why else would Dave Letterman release a video?
I’m sure he’s fine.
No, the bear died.
Google is your friend.
His brain died. Long ago.
He’s hanging out with crazy Randy Quade & Scott Bao. A real who’s who of crazy.
Man was bulky, damn
Good to see ole GB before he went completely bat shnit crazy.
this is BEFORE?
I saw Sam Harris star in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in 1996.
Same exact thing happened to my uncle you got into a car accident. Severe head injuries and next thing we knew full-blown schizophrenia
rip😢😢😢
Yes, RIP bear.
Cocaine bear totally makes sense now. Still haven't seen it.
The soles of his shoes…eew
---,--------------------- next x I need petroleum jelly.....asking clerk at drugstore.....could u please tell me where the chicken grease is.....thanks4sharing
that was one boring clip they chose to use. Doesn't speak well for the rest of the movie.
Siskel and Ebert gave it two thumbs down. Ebert said it was "a really deadly, awfully, dreadfully boring movie."
@@jedijones Both those guys are dead, so...
@@jedijonesConsidering a guy wrestles a bear in it, the rest of the film must be pretty bad to deserve a review like that - but that clip was boring as dry toast.
Wow, Gary Busey finally died. What was the cause of death?
