I started my Interior Design business in July, 2020 and since then have been researching and discovering the different ways in which an Interior Designer prices that services. After a lot of learning and trial and error, I've figured out the formula of pricing your interior design services accurately and I'm sharing all the tips to help you structure your pricing as well. Design school didn’t teach me about procurement and sourcing. How do you choose subcontractors, purchase materials , select the trades & services, and coordinate delivery once it's on site? Can you tell me more about how you learned it.
For example, how can a designer possibly know ALL the products out there and find what the clients need without losing their sanity.
That is a good question and one I get asked all the time, I be answering it in detail next week in a video!

Is it fine if designer change per sqm?
Thank you for your video! I have a question. I checked your webpage, and about e-design it's said 400$/hour - is it for whole service of e-design cost per room - 400$? or after the consultation you are sending proposal about how much it will cost?

This wasn't particularly helpful. It would have been more helpful if you had included some of the different prices that designers had quoted to you or how much you charged for different services when you started. People want hard numbers
The problem with hard numbers is that theyvary based on location to location and depend on where you're running your business from. For example, in Toronto an experienced designer charges anywhere between $150-$300/hour. In the suburbs, an experienced designer can charge between $75-$200. In California, designer's rate starts at $400/hour. Hope that helps a bit more.
