Having ordered the Max, in part down to your video's, this morning before this video came out, I am now petrified at the size of that thing. I think I am going to either have to put an addition on my house or simply move house. This is also my first foray into 3d printing so hope I can do this thing justice.
Would u see if the 4 extruder would work on the 3 pro/plus/ max? I asked elegoo cause honestly that would be the easiest way to make the 3s able to print up to 300c. U may have to swap the break out board tho. I'm sure it's possible. I do realize the x axis has been changed to those metal guide rails tho so it may be a little more tricky than just the board

im trying to decide between 4 pro and 4 plus... im less concerned with the built in wifi and more interested in the beefier hot parts... though curious what rails and wheels the plus will have now that i see the max comes with the non-pro motion parts

Can’t wait to see more from you on this printer!!! Do you have any recommendations for any nozzles for this, the 4 max? I looked on Elegoo’s site but it doesn’t look like they have any listed there.
just ordered mine today. excited i have owned few other printers in past and have wanted to build a large format printer. but also wanted to print nylon. so this helps me get on pace :)

I know u have a k1 max and u are big into Elagoo. I had to just send my k1 max back nothing but issues for the month I had it. How does this Elagoo printer compare to k1 max do u recommend it over the k1 max thanks

Should I wait for the 4 max or buy 3 max now. (Similar price)
I can't believe that I did it, but I took the plunge and ordered the 4 max from Amazon. Should be here around Thanksgiving. I can hopefully make headway with my journey into cosplay while I work on fixing my 2 anycubic 3d printers.

When I auto home my 4 Max it gives a pretty chonky "Bang" when it hits 0 on X and Y (Z is silent). Thoughts? Advice?
Hi bro, my printer is on the way. One problem i have with it that it comes with brass nozle and i want to print 260c+ filaments with carbon.. elegoo says its custom made nozzle is there a chanse you culd let me know what nozzle it is and everything about it(leight, threads est.) Would love to order harder nozzle before printer arrive. Thnx

mine isnt working I dont know why but when trying to do a benchy is starts in the middle and somehow ends up at the end of the plate

Neptune 4 max or kobra 2 max?
I was asking about the same question.
On Kobra 2 Max you have a complete automatic calibration and bed levelling, all metal guide rails and a control app whereas the Elegoo Neptune-4 Max has an isolated bed (maybe the Kobra too but I don‘t know it), better cooling performance and two accelerometers for X AND Y.
It has the normal POM-V wheels which could maybe last shorter and the stability decreases just a bit, but if you adjust them right and keep the profiles clean, that won‘t be a problem.
The bed levelling on the 4 max is auto and auxiliary, which has advantages and disadvantages, like if the build plate is not perfectly flat and the auto bed levelling can‘t compensate that, you can adjust it by large margin.
The 4 max has PID calibration which checks the thermal loss of the bed and nozzle while printing and compensates it to get constant temperatures.
Both have wifi but the Elegoo has Klipper instead of a specialised Marlin Firmware, which is more suitable for fast printing.
