Most helpful tutorial about this issue that I've seen and it's better because it gives you multiple options while making the video very concise and straight to the point, Great work 👍
Thank you so much. Wish I would have looked this up yesterday. I deleted so many files off my hard drive that I didn't have to. Thank you again. You now have a new subscriber.
Thank you so much. I've had this problem the entire day and after following your steps, I was able to clear out my disk and now I'm opening photoshop with no problem. Love this video!
Look at others before found this. Superb, so well presented, especially if not tech savvy . Straight to the point with easy to follow instructions. Subscribed. Thanks for posting.
After watching this video. I decided not to check another video on same issue because on RUclips you watch like 2-3 or more to get your solutions. This video is quite easy to understand and solves all scratch disk issues that has been disturbing me
THANK YOU!!!!! I can't tell you how many videos I started to watch to find out they person didn't know how to create a video- with sound... and the sound was so muffled and low I could not understand him- another was in another language!!!! You speak clearly and you know how to edit a video so the sound is GREAT! Thanks and thanks for the great info! Love you!
Very much appreciated 🙏🙏🏽🙏🙏🏽🙏 Still needed to plug in an external drive and move a lot of files to the cloud but this video solved my problem where others couldn’t.
Super helpful, thanks! I'm actually new to Mac, so I don't yet know a reliable way to search for larger files to archive/delete. On Windows I used "TreeSize", what's the best solution on Mac?
Great video! Thank you. I have saved this one. Also, I added an external SSD to my mac mini but it does not show up in Preferences/scratch disks to be selected within photoshop. How do i add this so i can use it for scratch disks?
Hi. I followed your instructions to clear my scratch disk. Now after editing photos on PS the images that I’m saving in my folder are not visible in my folder ? Pls pls help !
this is the most helpful video I've seen yet, however it still didn't solve the problem. I am not even able to open photoshop bc scratch disks are still full. I tried deleting and reinstalling Photoshop, this did not work either. any tips, anyone?
Thank you for your expertise. I’m running Windows and unless there’s not to much of a difference, I’m gonna try this methodology and see if it works for me. You’ve come Highly recommended! Thanks Friend!😊
Awesome video and lots of great tips! I'm still running into some issues. When I locate the tmp files and try to move them to the trash. It gives an error message saying "The operation can't be performed because the disk is full". Also, when I click the apple in the top left > about this mac > storage: it shows that I have ~228.78 GB available of 1.03 TB. Very confused. Any tips appreciated!
great video man ❤ only have 1 question when i want to switch scratch disk to my ssd only the macintosh HD appears and not my ssd. can u maybe help me out of this :)
I have a problem with photoshop I cant find an answer to. I want to add a SSD to use as my scratch disc but no matter what drive I plug in or where I plug it into, my mac doesnt recognize it! Any idea why that's happening? I've tried 3 different hard drives both SSD and HHD. I've also tried it in 3 different ports. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
I only have one destination available for Scratch Disks, and do not see a way to add one. In this video, there was only one destination. How do I add the additional destinations? (I've got my computer hooked up to a massive external storage device)
somehow i still get this message even while using a Lacie SSD with it selected in preferences. I have like 5 TB of free space and still get this 😡 any solutions?
Hey I have a question about using an extra SSD to plug into my Mac to create more RAM space. What size SSD would you recommend is a good size to ensure photoshop doesn’t run into the scratch desk error as frequently? Great video btw :) has been the only helpful one I’ve seen so far!
I have a brand new Macbook M1 max with 1tb but it shows disk error (not scratch Disk full error ) should I try to do the something or its something else ?
I had 120Gb taken by system data, Ran CleanmyMac and it only took away 12mb...ended up just restarting my Mac and quitting photoshop and that seemed to do the trick... :/
Most helpful tutorial about this issue that I've seen and it's better because it gives you multiple options while making the video very concise and straight to the point, Great work 👍
