Like when the first Microwave came out in 1977 for $600.
These bikes cost to much for their range, charge times currently.
They should not cost $5000 more than a Yamaha XSR 900 .
I love the idea of no powerband torque on demand. and no shifting/Hand clutch.

Great video gentlemen. Do you own the bikes or just test riding?

southern hicks on electric motorcycles... now I've seen everything... FYI, the best way to get into a Zero is buy used. You can find them for 50% off... They are the ultimate city/commuter/local motorcycle...

bikebudha01 “southern hicks”... I’ve been called many things, but that’s a first. I’ll take it as an off-handed compliment.

20 kwh battery & 22 kw 3-fase charger without adding more weight is what it needs to be complete. Guess it will be 5-10 years before we can expect to buy a bike like that without prices being sky-high.

knese123 I think as the acceptance of electric becomes more widespread, and the tech continues to improve, the charge times, weight, and price will all come down quicker than that. Hoping so at least,

Jump on an Energica EGO+ or EVA+ Ribelle...weight is improved from earlier models, 21.5kwh and 26kw rapid charging DCFC. Those bikes are the same cost roughly as a new SR/S but you get WAY MORE BIKE for the money. Mine arrives 2moro!
