Well. As a woman, all I can say is, social media (especially Instagram) one hundred percent messes with your self esteem, and has you prioritising physical appearance above anything else. It’s so mentally draining and damaging to think about that constantly, to have your entire life revolve around that, even if you don’t realise it. Essentially, what we’re told is to look so good that ‘men chase you and women become jealous of you’, or that saying that goes like, ‘men want to be with you and women want to be you’, something like that. With beauty standards constantly fluctuating, it’s impossible for anyone to adhere to them - even the models or ‘influencers’ who create them or start them. So why even bother chasing something that’s constantly changing, that’s so unrealistic and unattainable, and extremely damaging to young girls and women? For me personally, it feels so empty and sickening, to obsess over something so trivial and superficial. Even now, It’s been 5 months or so since I’ve deleted social media, and I still struggle to completely undo this way of thinking. But Alhamdulillah, it’s been almost a year now since I’ve worn the hijab. Prior to wearing it, I didn’t fully understand it’s ‘purpose’ so to speak, I just knew I wanted to start practicing the deen and obey Allah. I felt this was way more fulfilling as a purpose than constantly looking to please people, especially men, through appearance. SubhanAllah, I saw the benefits immediately. I felt so much more comfortable. Going out I didn’t worry about how my body looked, I didn’t check every shop window for a glimpse of my reflection. No inappropriate stares or catcalls. No touching me or touching my hair. All that was gone instantly. There is something so liberating and empowering about controlling what people see. You may not realise it but we indulge in looking at things all the time - especially women’s bodies. For once, I have the power to make people not see. And yes, men have to play their part as well (not looking at women, not touching them and harming them). But it is unrealistic for women to wear revealing clothes and just expect men not to look and mind their business. Men have eyes 💀 they’re gonna look regardless. And you may say you’re ‘dressing for you’, but you’re ‘benefiting’ these men more than anything, giving them what they want. And I put benefiting in inverted commas because of course it doesn’t benefit them, or anyone else for that matter. Anyway from experience I can say, covering up & wearing hijab is way more liberating and empowering than constantly being pressured to display myself - it’s beneficial in every way, no matter how many times I’ve tried to prove otherwise before hijab. It still baffles me how something so seemingly trivial as how we look can have this effect on society, but it sure as hell does. Alhamdulillah for Islam.
Thank you for your comment. For me, it's always great to see someone realize some of the wisdoms of Islam's teachings first hand, really gives me that extra certainty in the deen. Alhamdulillah for Islam indeed.
I find it funny when they say “I’m doing it for myself” when it’s clear they only beautify themselves in that certain way when they’re going out and not when they’re inside there homes to their families

I’m a young Muslim woman and I started wearing hijab one year ago alhamdolillah, I think that the western world and media succeeded in a way to flip the truth and make something very simple and easy to see into something complicated and hard to explain...When a man is about to rape a woman does he ask her to wear more clothes and to wear a headscarf ? When a prostitute is selling herself to a man so that she can have to eat does she wear the niqab in the street and telling the man sorry you cannot touch me ? When a teen wants to impress her crush in a pool party does she wear modest clothes ? When a fly attendant is on a flight is she ordered to wear a long skirt and not to put any makeup because the passenger is here to travel not to please his eyes ? I think the answers are easy to guess ! It’s very obvious that a woman covering up and obeying only Allah not the society or her boss made some people mad...and poor women believe the whole woman rights thing and start obeying these people without even recognising it...
There’s a huge number of industries reliant on playing on the outward insecurities of women for their survival. From fashion to fitness to cosmetic procedures etc etc. They’re not able to sell and market to a covered woman who should have different set of values in the same way, hence their hostility towards the Hijab. A covered woman is much freer in mind & body which can be threatening to this consumer society.
Say: "O People of the Book! ye have no ground to stand upon unless ye stand fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord." It is the revelation that cometh to thee from thy Lord, that increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. But sorrow thou not over (these) people without Faith.
People will find any reason to make the covering look problematic. A shop lady once asked me, 'Isn't it bad to wear niqab when you have kids in public? Doesn't it block your view?'. I told her clothing wasn't the problem, the mindset was. I've seen ladies wearing no hijab at all, and their kids were running around madly until one of them fell onto the train tracks- the mother being completely oblivious to it. Also another thing that's funny, A french survey recently came out saying now more than ever, beach-goers were covering up by choice because they were fearful of their physical safety...These people are so worried about people not stripping they'll conduct longitudinal studies on this. Such perversion....
Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and beware (of evil): if ye do turn back, know ye that it is Our Messenger's duty to proclaim (the message) in the clearest manner.

It's often said in the west that ISLM means peace, but also to submit. My life experience has shown me that I can never have peace if I do not submit to Allah. Those who fight His will travel in endless circles, making themselves weary and yet achieving nothing.

I don't use Instagram, I have never used it and never will use. All these platforms that promote the so called freedom to do anything you want as long as you are only hurting yourself because you are free to hurt your self are a waste of time anyway. May Allah bless you and the Sheikh for calling Instagram out for its double standards and reward for continuing to state the truth even if there is a risk of getting blocked.
And when they listen to the revelation received by the Messenger, thou wilt see their eyes overflowing with tears, for they recognise the truth: they pray: "Our Lord! we believe; write us down among the witnesses.
The Coddling of the American Mind is great book that discusses the effects of social media specifically on women. Basically the author tells us that men and women express aggression differently. Men are more physical whereas women are more social. Therefore, they express their aggression in a social manner. Social media gives women that platform to express their aggression without constraints as they can taunt, gossip, and spread lies about one another 24/7. He demonstrates this by showing studies of gen z women reporting higher incidences of self-cutting which is often a female dominated form of self-harm. So ladies I urge you control your aggression, I know it's tempting and natural to gossip and stuff but it's for the betterment of your own gender.
Yes unfortunately our hijab Muslim sisters have fallen guilty to this are feeling tempted towards this because they see other hijab Sisters doing it, being popular etc. Muslim sisters see a beautiful hijabi and think oh I can do makeup and high heels and loose scarf and still “wear hijab” and feel pretty etc. It’s very twisted. Then some sisters remove it and Muslim sisters are commenting ‘’mashAllah your so strong’’ in the comments. AstigfirAllah. As a convert who used to model we def have been more brainwashed to be naked then Islam has to cover women. I say this all the time but I feel more free with my hijab then I did prior to hijab. Sure it’s a lot of work sometimes and it would be easier to just leave the house without a scarf but I know it’s not just a scarf it’s also your clothes and sorry once the scarf is gone everything else goes with it.
Thou seest many of them turning in friendship to the Unbelievers. Evil indeed are (the works) which their souls have sent forward before them (with the result), that Allah's wrath is on them, and in torment will they abide.
“ ‘Taliban forcing women to wear hijab is morally equivalent to France forcing Muslim women to remove hijab.’ They're not equivalent. Yes, they both involve force. But enforcing compliance with God's law is not the same as enforcing compliance with the lusts and whims of men/women. ” ― Daniel Haqiqatjou

In a secular system there is a state and legislation, secularism legislates laws that criminalize those who come out on one of the foundations of secular regime. Many western countries force muslim women to take off their veil because this piece of cloth could threaten the secular principles. They impose fines on muslim women who put on their veils. Atheists and seculars don't have any problem with these laws but they don't accept Islamic law in Islamic country. Islam is a religion, a state and legislation. It has a system ,rules and laws. Allah will not call you to account for what is futile in your oaths, but He will call you to account for your deliberate oaths: for expiation, feed ten indigent persons, on a scale of the average for the food of your families; or clothe them; or give a slave his freedom. If that is beyond your means, fast for three days. That is the expiation for the oaths ye have sworn. But keep to your oaths. Thus doth Allah make clear to you His signs, that ye may be grateful.

For all sisters out there, salamu alaikum. (Brother are at the end of comment) Just to give the reason why the hijab (covering, veil, something cover, not specifically the headscarf) is reminded mostly for women is because it causes your brothers in faith to sin, which makes you accountable for that sin. This in tern also affect your fathers in this because they are responsible for the women in his family. Something as simple as having modesty saves many from gaining sin. Brothers, please advise each other to do the same. Practice modesty when you dress yourselves. Wear a kufi when you go out, do not be ashamed to show that you are muslim. It is unfair to our sisters if we do not. Motivate them by example. Don't show your figure( for those that have it) around our sisters. Brothers and sisters, remember that our very appearance and mannerisms affects those around us, and that by failing to keep them as decreed by Allah and his messenger(pbuh), we are not only sinning, but also causing others to sin. That is oppression. That is why we must strive to follow the example of the prophet, his wives, and the companions. May Allah forgive us for our short coming, and keep us upright. Ameen

@A simple guy Just simple 1. Never said that the kufi was mandatory. 2. The father ( husband) is responsible for his family. On the day of judgement, the fathers will be asked about their families. They will be ask about their actions, and how he promoted the good and prohibited the bad. 3. Shouldn't we invite people to do good by also doing good. Shouldn't we as men show the women that we should be afraid to show what we believe in(obviously not in a country that would kill you on sight)? The west encourages tight clothing, those that show the women's figure (men also), that is one of the minor sign of the end times. 4. If you don't to wear a kufi, then who am I to force. My previous comment was obviously not for you.
Instagram is a platform for riyaa (showing off), and riyaa leads to shirk. Goes without saying about half naked people flaunting and flexing, but I’ve also seen women in jilbabs and men in thobes virtue signalling and fishing for compliments. There’s also that third group who doesn’t post any photos but goes around on other people’s pages “calling them out” by condemning them, instead of calling them in with baseerah and displaying the best manners. May Allah help us.
Not to mention sisters that are Niqabi and married, freely posting themselves and their form. Having conversations freely with other guys, and their husbands are on twitter also. The strangest thing I seen

Allah forgives what is past: for repetition Allah will exact from him the penalty. For Allah is Exalted, and Lord of Retribution.
Those who reject our Signs, We shall soon cast into the Fire: as often as their skins are roasted through, We shall change them for fresh skins, that they may taste the penalty: for Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.

Married niqabi sisters having their photo up of their eyes fully decorated and their form showing, freely mixing with men having banter, these are married women. I might, get attacked by, what I am about to say, well here we go..because I do not live to please people, but for my CREATOR...firstly, the Taliban, enforces niqab, not hijab. Also, Allah states in suratul Noor, that women, should be modest in their way of dressing, there was never, mentioned hijab or niqab in the Quran. Lowering your gaze, goes for men and women. Allah, said to Prophet Muhammad pbuh, tell your women to cover up their breast..because in those years, women actually dressed quite provocative, and women had to go out into the fields to do their thing when nature called and was prayed upon by men...the women complained to the prophet..wearing a certain type of clothing was a show of status of wealth in those days and the servants or slaves, who was women, did not have the privilege, to wear what their, mistress ,wore so it was okay for dirty minded men to pray on the slaves, then the elite, because now they can distinguish between madam and slave in the darkness. A woman, was treated with more respect and dignity in those years, and after the prophet abolished slavery. A male figure, family had to escort a female relative, when she went out shopping, to protect her. Nowadays and previous years, in countries like Afghanistan etc..your 9 year old son, should accompany you, if you are allowed to go out, as if your 9 year old son can protect you..the Prophet walk slightly in front of his wife, not because he is deemed superior, no it was to kick away the stones that was laying in her path, so that she cannot trip. Honestly, people should educate themselves. Women was a gift, to a man, not his property. Our Prophet ran races with Aisha, he would win and then she would win, he would say, we are equal. As ,every Muslim knows, she was the only wife, he was in love with. The Quran was revealed in the span of 23 years..so called scholars, interpret the teachings for their own agendas and not what the written word states. Islam is a beautiful religion and way of life, but stop with the hypocrisy. It also states, when you live in a non Islamic country, you should respect, the country's rules, unless otherwise stated. Wear, your hijab or niqab, if you can, but ultimately it is your choice. Some women, I find that wears hijab, are so full of make up, I wonder when they have time to make sullah or namaz. I do not wear make up..I dress modestly and I wear hijab, when I feel like it, or when entering the mosque, janazaahs etc.. I was never forced or pressured to wear a hijab or niqab and my brothers never had the need to protect me, infact I protected them. The only thing, my dad refused me to do was allowed me to cut my hair. Later on I did, to donate to cancer patients. I had ,my reasons and it was respected due to the fact that I am a cancer survivor. As for anyone reading this, the vaccine is haram. .it was tested on aborted babies and have the DNA of the babies within it, our Judicial Council, has made it haram. Ivermectim are being used..and to maintain your immunity, blackseed oil, vit B,C D and Zinc, no do not use honey... I am vegan, so that makes me more than happy. Now I am waiting for the so called self proclaimed scholars to attack me.

And, O believers turn to Allah all together, in order that you prosper. (31) He explained: The noble verse forbade the believing women from showing their adornment, and it excluded the visible adornment. And it is the madhhab of Imam Abu Hanifa, Al-Thawri and Al-Muzni from the Shafi’is and the choice of Ibn Taymiyyah from the Hanbalis, and some of them added the place of the bracelet, and some of the predecessors interpreted it as clothing. It is not permissible for a woman to display it, according to the consensus of the scholars, and it is not a matter of dispute in the first place due to their differing opinions regarding the details of the apparent adornment. Interpretation, and let them beat their wine over their pockets He noted that the divine command in the verse came to believing women to strike wine on their pockets, and khumr: the plural of a veil, and the veil of a woman in the Arabic language is what covers her head. , and the plural is vintage], and the pockets: the plural of the pocket, which is the chest. So it was very clear in explaining the purpose. The expression by striking the veil on the pocket: requires covering the hair, neck and throat, and reversing the expression by striking it on the face to striking the pocket requires at the same time revealing the face, and this is one of the most eloquent, eloquent, clearest, and clearest speech.

@@abdulhakamjibril brother: what do you think of my videos?
May Allah bless you my sister.

Bless you
People will find any reason to make the covering look problematic.

For all sisters out there, salamu alaikum. (Brother are at the end of comment)
Just to give the reason why the hijab (covering, veil, something cover, not specifically the headscarf) is reminded mostly for women is because it causes your brothers in faith to sin, which makes you accountable for that sin.
Ameen

"What cause can we have not to believe in Allah and the truth which has come to us, seeing that we long for our Lord to admit us to the company of the righteous?"
Would also like to add it's not just instagram, you don't need that when you already have Twitter. That is the breeding ground of obscenity now. Women having their photos retweeted many times over, having the face the flag, and the face the personality trends, sexual conversations on the timeline, not even just in the DMs now. Married niqabi sisters having their photo up of their eyes fully decorated and their form showing, freely mixing with men having banter, these are married women. Porn is freely available on Twitter, now guys don't need to risk catching a virus on their machine by going into porn sites, it's all safely available on Twitter.
Christ the son of Mary was no more than a messenger; many were the messengers that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how Allah doth make His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth!
💯💯
If only they had believed in Allah, in the Prophet, and in what hath been revealed to him, never would they have taken them for friends and protectors, but most of them are rebellious wrong-doers.

If ye (but) eschew the most heinous of the things which ye are forbidden to do, We shall expel out of you all the evil in you, and admit you to a gate of great honour.
Instagram is disgusting
Nor did they (usually) forbid one another the iniquities which they committed: evil indeed were the deeds which they did.
حسبي الله ونعم الوكيل
And marry not women whom your fathers married,- except what is past: It was shameful and odious,- an abominable custom indeed.
Boycott Instagram everyone.
Nobody should decide for you what you can wear and what you can't, obviously within the limits of decency. Religion is a choice it is not something you can force to follow, until the Taliban understand this they will never be able to apply Sharia law correctly and fairly.
If any do that in rancour and injustice,- soon shall We cast them into the Fire: And easy it is for Allah.

Muslim and Christian claim that they both believe in Jesus.
🙏🙏🙏 *I CHALLENGE CHRISTIANS TO EXAMINE WHAT JESUS ACTUALLY TAUGHT (THE AUTHENTIC TEACHINGS OF JESUS).* 🙏🙏🙏
🙏 *HOW TO KNOW WHAT JESUS ACTUALLY TAUGHT (HOW TO KNOW THE AUTHENTIC TEACHINGS OF JESUS) ?*
WE HAVE A GOOD WAY TO KNOW WHAT JESUS ACTUALLY TAUGHT (THE AUTHENTIC TEACHINGS OF JESUS)......AND THAT IS FROM “THE AUTHENTIC VERSES”……..THE VERSES THOSE AUTHENTIC FROM JESUS HIMSELF OR AT LEAST FROM “THE REAL DISCIPLES”.
OFF COURSE, WE DON’T WANT UN-AUTHENTHIC VERSES !!!
NOW LETS EXAMINE WHICH VERSES THOSE WERE AUTHENTIC FROM JESUS HIMSELF OR AT LEAST FROM “THE REAL DISCIPLES”.
I DON'T SAY THAT ALL VERSES IN "NEW TESTAMENT OF NOWADAYS" ARE 100% AUTHENTIC OR 100% FAKE.
NOW, HOW TO KNOW WHICH VERSES THOSE WERE AUTHENTIC FROM JESUS HIM SELF OR AT LEAST FROM “THE REAL DISCIPLES” ?
OFF COURSE, WE NEED TO VERIFICATE AND VALIDATE WHICH VERSES WERE AUTHENTIC AND WHICH VERSES WERE NOT.
THEN LETS VERIFICATE AND VALIDATE EVERY SINGLE VERSE IF IT'S AUTHENTIC OR NOT.
TO VERIFICATE AND VALIDATE EVERY SINGLE VERSE, WE NEED TO EXAMINE TWO THINGS :
1). THE CHAIN OF SOURCES
2). THE CONTENT
LETS EXAMINE :
1). THE CHAIN OF SOURCES OF THE VERSE HAD TO BE CLEAR AND CREDIBLE.
EVERY SINGLE MAN OF THE NARATORS MUST BE CLEAR AND CREDIBLE
2). THE CONTENT OF THE VERSE HAD TOBE VERIFICATIONABLE IF IT WAS GOOD, STRANGE, CONTRADICTIVE OR ANYTHING.
NOW, LETS PICK ANY VERSE TO BE EXAMINED FIRST !

Nice "Beanie"
Serve Allah, and join not any partners with Him; and do good- to parents, kinsfolk, orphans, those in need, neighbours who are near, neighbours who are strangers, the companion by your side, the wayfarer (ye meet), and what your right hands possess: For Allah loveth not the arrogant, the vainglorious;-
Peace, mercy and blessings of Allah
And say to the believing women, that they lower their gaze cast down their eyes and guard their chastity, and do not reveal their adornment except that which is outward (face and hands); and let them draw their veils over their neck, and not reveal their adornment except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husbands' fathers, or their sons, or their husbands' sons, or their brothers, or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or what their right hands own, or such male attendants having no sexual desire, or children who have not yet attained knowledge of women's private parts; nor let them stamp their feet, so that their hidden ornament is known. And, O believers turn to Allah all together, in order that you prosper. (31)
He explained: The noble verse forbade the believing women from showing their adornment, and it excluded the visible adornment.
Interpretation, and let them beat their wine over their pockets
He noted that the divine command in the verse came to believing women to strike wine on their pockets, and khumr: the plural of a veil, and the veil of a woman in the Arabic language is what covers her head. , and the plural is vintage], and the pockets: the plural of the pocket, which is the chest.
