Loved the fourth option. Also I liked you how you showed moving your arm across and back to load the kick. I’m gonna try that tonight! Great stuff as always!
Been watching your content for a few years and thought why not provide value of boxing as I'm a pro boxer. Keep up the great work I've started my channel up over a month almost hit 500 subs already. One day maybe collab.
Hi shane great work. Question why im mma u use lot of head movement when u could get kicked or kneed in the face since its not really recommended in muay thai
Head movement is a tricky topic, but the concepts remain the same: a moving target is harder to hit than a still target. Range, angles, and patterns play a huge role - for instance, it’s safe to roll your head under a hook if your head is tight to the armpit, because you’ll be too close for your opponent’s foot/knee to land on your chin. Plus, in MMA there are takedowns and takedown threats. Your opponent may throw a kick if you lowering your level, or they may start to sprawl to defend a takedown - again, it comes down to patterns.

I have a lot of people starting on me in school I’m strong, I’m naturally gifted but I don’t push my weight around, even tho I’m young(13) I’m very mature. I don’t like messing around in school I have one detention this year which my learning manager said I shouldn’t have got. So overall I’m not the type of boy to start fights, bully and push my weight around. One of my friend gets bullied a lot, he isn’t naturally gifted as I am ( academically too😂) seriously tho I didn’t hit his bullies I’m a civil person I spoke to them with words and they haven’t done owt to him since. My point is a lot of people fight in my school, I enjoy fighting it brings a nice rush of adrenaline and joy pretty weird I know l. But I don’t fight people like in my school and stuff because I’m smart enough to know right from wrong. But people like to get physical and even thought I could probably beat them anyway this helps so much in the sense I want to fight in a good way and in the sense that I need self defence. Your channel helps a lot I know I’m a kid but these moves are amazing and smart I have a full notes section on my phone named “ufc” I haven’t trained it properly yet. I need to. I’m lazy in that sense I don’t stick to it but I promise I am going to try my best starting from tomorrow and I’m going to became a different kind of person. Once again thanks
Hi I dont know where I should really ask this BUT how do i structure my technique work for boxing. I don't have any issues with figuring out conditiong and ive sort of taught myself the basic basics of boxing but i dont really know what to do or where to go from here. I know what I need to work on for the most part but i dont know how to allocate time. Like how much time should I spend on like footwork, hitting the bad, shadowboxing, agility, and so on. Im not asking for like a detailed breakdown just like roughly hopw much time should I spend on each thing in a week
Is it me or are there more fighters in the UFC that switch stances. About 10 to 15 years ago most fighters usually stick to one stance, more and more I'm seeing more people in the "switch" stance category. Notable fighters, Sean O'Mally, Isreal, and Dustin Prioria
The way Shane folded with that high kick in the intro got me dead😭😭😭😂😂
After watching this, I'd be sure to heavily practice and incorporate these ways of using the switch jab in training
Glad to see the gym came out great for you old friend! I hope to cross paths with you again one day!
Same to you, Shomari! Hope you and your brother are well 🙏

You gotta strafe and never peak the same angles

There are plenty of mma fighters who use a lot of head movement and don't get kicked very often.
@@homelessman3483 true i just wonder why its used barely in muay thai
