Honestly I felt that kill was my only gripe with the movie. It just goes on and on and it just lost me a bit and I was like it just kept going and became a bit tedious to watch. And then the bleach and salt thing the scene just became hilarious. At one point the kill went from awesome to really cartoony and and bit goofy and I felt really tip toed the line between silly and actually like a great kill. It was the only kill in the movie that felt incredibly mean spirited as in I felt like the director did not like the actress. Lol
The dream sequence brought some of the best visuals, the little kid eating the cereal, Art with a flame thrower, Sienna pulling the sword out of the cereal box, and then the clown cafe song was great as well.
Quite possibly the best horror film I've seen since the director's cut of Doctor Sleep. This was so fantastic...the atmosphere, the score, the gore, the final girl's backstory and even the mythology built around Art were all handled really well. Hard to believe the budget was so low for this. I can't imagine what Leone could do with something in the million range. I'm looking forward to the inevitable third entry. Love the dream sequence, adds more of a supernatural layer with art being able to invade your dreams. Fun fact the woman playing the guitar that he torches comes back alongside art in a music video that is really cool
Hello again Mike. I saw Terrifier 2 last weekend for the first time. It was horrendously awesome. I hadn't planned on seeing it again until I just experienced your spoiler review. Your over-the top antics, explicit descriptions, and pure sincerity and energy have convinced me to see it again. The movie is unlike anything I have ever seen- I quickly lost track of how many times "they crossed the line." Thank you for your review and as always for your energy and charm. Have a great evening sir!
The mythology they've set up with is so intriguing. I haven't seen All Hallows Eve but from what I've been told it's about a family who has a VHS tape show up at their house and when they watch it, it's an anthology of Art the Clown killings. Then at the end of the movie Art comes out of the tv and kills the family and that's seemingly where Terrifier picks up. And I've heard All Hallows Eve 2 is basically the same thing but with a guy dressed as a scarecrow instead of Art. Assuming it ends the same way and the scarecrow dude also enters the real world, are they doing something where this VHS that seems to have similar powers to Sienna's sword (in the sense that it can bring people to life or something), ties back to either Sienna's father or something he was involved in? Like his storytelling somehow becomes real or something. And will we eventually get a scarecrow dude spin-off movie and maybe even an All Hallows Eve 3 with yet another killer who also gets a spin off? and at some point sooner or later they all crossover into some sorta Terrifer Avengers esque finale or something? It sounds dumb but like... plausible lol
All Hallows Eve and Terrifier are brilliant! Love part 2 as well especially the clown girl but the film is not as dark as the other ones and has some silliness and art gets his but kicked by a girl lol
The Halloween store scene is awesome. It was filmed at a really store in nyc where slot of people go; the store gives a eyes wide shut vibe with all the different masks they have. Thanks for the awesome review
The director did an interview where he said the questions p2 brought up like the sword will be answered in p3. He also said Sienna will be crucial going forward.
Hey Mike! Excited for this!! This is my personal movie of the year!! The story, the gore, the characters…. everything was awesome! What was so awesome about it was that they made such a gem on a limited budget! This movie deserves all of the love that it’s getting. I adore everything about this movie. Have a great day everyone!! Love you guys 🧡
I doubt you'll see this, but I just discovered you while watching Terrifier 2 reviews trying to decide if I felt like watching it tonight. As I'm watching, I'm working on sewing my Alkaline Trio vest and happened to look up and see an ALK3 tattoo on your arm. It's always cool finding a fellow fan! Love your review!

Hi, is this Mike and Jay from Wewatchedamovie? My name is Logan Hayes and I've been a really big fan of your guy's awesome RUclips channel, associated with horror films over the years ever since I was a small boy growing up.
It's so wild when we're tempted to root for a villian this demented. The man is hilarious. I was surprised how Sienna embodied that old school scream queen aura! Damien did great directing. Definitely the best performance after Art. People who didn't grow up on B- Horror wouldn't understand why we love it. The campy moments, cool 80s inspired music, & practical effects. 🔥 Can't wait for my 4k steelbook and soundtrack! This fits in perfectly between a Nightmare on Elm Street, and a Friday the 13th marathon.
Your review on this movie is the best on You Tube. This movie is so freaking awesome & Art & Pale girl are a creepy silent movie type dynamic duo looking forward to the next movie
That being said, it’s going to be one of my yearly favs, because it really is a love letter to the old school era with a extra level of early 2000s gore…it’s a awesome film, if you can’t get past the lingering violence
Lmao I was looking for this comment, I’m gonna go so far as to say hottest final girl lol Of course her performance was also excellent and it’s really awesome that she’s a stuntwoman so she was able to do all her own stunts except like two. But yeah, she’s super sexy 🤣
If you and Katie ever comes to NY I’ll take you guys to that Halloween store! It’s pretty epic I’m there once or twice a month so once I saw the carpets right away I knew it was filmed at Abracadabra !
Terrifier 2 was the first horror movie I stopped because I thought I was gonna be sick... I really thought I was gonna throw up during Ali's death. But I made it. XD I don't think I am ever eating meat again but totally worth it.
T2 Definitely My New Favorite horror Movie of the Year and one of my favorites of all time. Keep up the Awesome Work WWAM. Can't wait to see what they do in T3!
This is the first movie I've seen in a long time that genuinely freaked me out by both the brutality and Art's character. This movie was fantastic and genuinely freaked me and my friends out. 10/10 for me!
When I first watched "Terrifier", it messed me up. I love a good horror movie, but I wasn't expecting that. It caught me off guard. That being said... I had a better idea of what to expect in this movie and I enjoyed it so much more. Great effects, great acting, expanding the story (leaving you wanting answers....angels vs. demons maybe?).
The dream sequence was WAY too long but other than that I thought this film was great. Really well-developed characters that you actually care about, et cetera. I hope there will be more to come.
I agree about the dream sequence. That’s my only complaint about the movie. Other than that it was a great ride!! Even the runtime didn’t seem long. I was invested in the story.
Hello Mike!!! I’m still kinda new, I subbed to you on July 1st of this year, also July 1st is my birthday. I’m 17, going through my junior year of high school, I just want to say I love you and J, and thank you for all the funny content. You guys have been helping me be happy. I’ve been depressed because I lost my 2 year old sister. So thank you so much for helping me.
You forgot that they paid tribute to the movie "Big" ! By having a Zoltar , wish granting booth in the Halloween store ! Am I the only one that's observant !?
Hey, just to let you know, it was the friend mother's head with candies in itin that scène. Just to let you imagine what may have happened after the scream.
Art killing someone with a gun is almost like an act of mercy. They get lucky being killed so fast knowing that vagisaw and the bedroom scenes exist, it could’ve been waaaaaaay worse. Wonder what will they do in the future? It’s almost like a highlight of theirs, to get that one over the top kill
It reminds me of the Feast series in a way. It was a far out, freaky, gory ride and the viewer was just as clueless as the characters as to what was really going on. Feast went even further in that characters always made the worst possible decisions, almost mocking formulaic horror. Terrifier could be going the same route except relying on supernatural tropes rather than sci-fi. Sometimes explanations pull from the point of the film. Ghost girl is clearly the common chord between characters. I’m guessing she’s a damned spirit with a grudge, possibly due to an action of the father, and Art is an incarnation of her grudge. If Ghost girl was an illegitimate and unwanted daughter of the father then perhaps Art is sort of his doppelgänger from her mind and demon made flesh. While pointless carnage is release, Ghost girl pursues Sins of the Father against the rest of the family with all of the time in the world to play with, sort of explaining Art’s laconic approach. That’s how I’d approach it. God knows how they will. That’s the fun of it, just like Feast. Sometimes it’s more fun to be left simply not knowing.
MIKE JAY AND FAM this is important ..what did yall think about that scene were the daughters still alive and art literally snapped her arm back and forth!! (Snap! Snip! Snap!) So sad her mom watched her die like that Btw I only love the dream sequence becouse how beutiful it was..not the shooting part..but I'm thinking since he used a outdated and fake looking Tommy gun was there way to try to make up for how insensitive it could be seen
I believe the dream sequence features the people that funded the movie. I could be wrong, but i think if you donated at a certain level you got a cameo in the movie. And it was that scene. So yes it could be cut but if that is true it makes total sense why it was left in and so long
I want an explanation for the supernatural, but I want them to show not tell. They did a good job of not using exposition, but illustrations in the dad's book and showing the girls eyes glowing and such
Also I agree with you. Lauren ( Sienna Shaw) is my new favorite Final girl, right up there with Laurie Strode, Alice Johnson, Alice Hardy, Sidney Prescott And Erin from Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2003.
First of all, practical effects are superior. 👏 The way Art is so entertained by what he's doing is so much fun to watch. Lol The only part I didn't like was the dream sequence. It was too long and just kind of off kilter. The laundromat scene is my favorite and the decapitated head candy bowl might be my favorite single thing from a horror movie ever.
I've never been super into splatterhouse style horror although I still enjoy watching them from time to time. But Art is so captivating as a character! The performance is top notch.
This is probably my favorite horror of the year, even if I don't think it's "technically" the best. About whether I want answers - nothing too explicit, but more than what we got. If you don't have some rules/stakes you end up with something like the Chucky TV series haha.
Hey, Mike! You know what they dropped the ball on for the last two Halloween movies? One of the opening jack o lanterns should've been the cop head on the flashlight.
I honestly really enjoyed the film, the brutality was pure insanity, much better script/dialogue than the original and Art the Clown is now cemented in horror history. My biggest hold up was the run time, just soooo long and felt certain scenes definitely could have been cut out (no pun intended)
Hey Mike, have you seen All Hallows' Eve? I watched it the other night and was surprised to see that many of the supernatural elements from Terrifier 2 originate from All Hallows' Eve. It's not as good as the Terrifier movies, but worth checking out.
I was at a screening where someone threw up in the trash bin at the theater. I was the last one to leave after the extra behind the scenes stuff and the look on the workers face was one of disgust and horror as the person didn't make the trash bin when they threw up.
@@WeWatchedAMovie they actually didn't make it all through the movie though, lol, they made it to the part where the girl was obliterated, she ran to the trash bin covering her mouth, yelled out yall are sick for liking this shit and walked out.
@@andyandnormski she yelled that after she threw up from the girl getting decimated by art the clown (where she was on the bed and art was cutting off her leg) ive never experienced that ever, she shouldve known from All Hallows Eve and the first one for what she was getting into
I think they shouldn't give us any answers about the supernatural stuff. Once they start explaining too much, it starts allowing the viewers to start nit picking the entire plot. Just my opinion but I feel like it would take away from the mystique of Art. Us not knowing makes people discuss the possibilities more.
This movie has been my surprise top 5 horror of the year so far. I don't love gore porn movies, but the characters made it worth it. Plus, Art the Clown is right up there with Pearl for my favorite modern horror icon. Probably one spot below Pearl, but it's close as hell.
So...the little girl and Sienna are opposites....Sienna is an angel and the little girl is a demon. Which is why the little girl was able to bring Art back, her demon eyes glow, and she can interact with living folks. Sienna is like an archangel...with the sword...and her Halloween character had wings....just my take.
I worry about my own sanity as I chuckled every time they did something horrible and I still managed to laugh because of Art's mannerisms. Between the eyeball and the bedroom scene, I'm pretty sure I have issues. lol
Definitely one of my favorite slashers in a long time. Can't wait for 3, but hoping the supernatural stuff doesn't get too much more hokey than it already has.
Keep it weird. I don’t wanna know. Knowing’s not going to make *any* of this shit any better. “Oh, Art’s this, that, or the other? Oh, okay, now it all makes sense”. There is no making sense of this shit. Keep it weird, baby.
@@WeWatchedAMovie thank u. I ended up finding it on zefix. I just finished it. That movie was everything yall said it was. By far horror movie of the year! A very fun watch for sure. 8.5 easy for me. Thanks guys!
Funny ass review man. I mirror alot of your thoughts. Except I think the dream sequence belongs. I'm embracing the super natural shit too. Why not hah.
I personally, LOVED THIS MOVIE!!! My wife, her friend and I went to see it at the theater. SO GLAD WE DID!!! I thought it was hilarious! There were a few moments where my wife had to nudge me, because I was laughing a little too hard.
Dude I had to smoke a blunt before and after the moive and still traumatized. Seeing art killing people on the big screen with big speakers is a different experience. Like when he broke the girls arm I felt that sounds on the bottom of my feet. Although I didn't like one part of the moive but it's over showed by the awesomeness of the moive. Terrifier 2 was a amazing roller coster of a moive and I loved how far Damian Leone has come as a director I gotta say I've only seen 3 of his moives and I love them all lol
Hi Mike !! Congrats to J @ Mike for an amazing October 🎃☠️HALLOWEEN month.. both of you worked sooooo hard to make things perfect !! WWAM fam always ! Gotta luv ART .. a very interesting character .. David Thornton plays ART to perfection .. luv you both !! Linda ⛏🤡
Def see why so many people love this movie, I thought it was ok, I do love gore and kills, but this one was just not for me, sienna was fire thought and that little clown girl, dayum she was creepy
I just don't know why everybody thinks this movie is so good. It was a gore fest, I'll give it that.. it was refreshing to see a slasher flick that doesn't shy away from the blood and guts. I'll also say I thought the Actor who plays Art did great... and all the young actors (kids to 20 somethings) did some really good work. Other than that, Every adult actor besides Art the clown was a total shit show. The Plot was either non-existent or just too confusing. I thought it felt completely aimless and disjointed. I'll give it a 4 out of 10... and it only gets 4 because of the gore and the final girl did some good acting. That aside, it would have been a 2 for me. I love gore.. but you at least have to give me a reasonably laid out plot. My biggest take away from it is this. All these pricks that have been running around talking about how awful "Halloween Kills" was (which I actually thought was the best slasher movie in the last 10 years at least).... And are now out here calling Terrifier 2 the greatest slasher movie in years, owe David Gordon Green one HELL of an apology. Halloween Kills was 3 times the movie Terrifier 2 was.. Halloween Ends on the other hand was not very good. I will say I liked Terrifier 2 better than Halloween Ends.
The scene where art completely destroyed that girls body was the very first time in a horror movie where I felt genuinely uncomfortable during a movie
It'll getchya! lol
I agree
Yeah. It just kept going on. The bleach and salt was like “Fuck! That’s so cruel!”
Lol

I honestly really enjoyed the film, the brutality was pure insanity, much better script/dialogue than the original and Art the Clown is now cemented in horror history. My biggest hold up was the run time, just soooo long and felt certain scenes definitely could have been cut out (no pun intended)
A silent killer like Michael, Jason and the charisma of Freddy. How the fuck can you not like it?
Thoroughly impressed with this movie. That made 2.5hrs fly by! Amazing special effects, and funny. No character is annoying
Hey Mike, have you seen All Hallows' Eve? I watched it the other night and was surprised to see that many of the supernatural elements from Terrifier 2 originate from All Hallows' Eve. It's not as good as the Terrifier movies, but worth checking out.
Me and my gf had a great time watching it. We were laughing at Art’s shenanigans and just the brutality of the kills
I was at a screening where someone threw up in the trash bin at the theater. I was the last one to leave after the extra behind the scenes stuff and the look on the workers face was one of disgust and horror as the person didn't make the trash bin when they threw up.
Aw so gross! How do you make it all the way through the movie THEN puke? lol
@@WeWatchedAMovie they actually didn't make it all through the movie though, lol, they made it to the part where the girl was obliterated, she ran to the trash bin covering her mouth, yelled out yall are sick for liking this shit and walked out.
@@MaxStone289 She's yelling that when she bought a ticket to see it? That's hilarious.
@@andyandnormski she yelled that after she threw up from the girl getting decimated by art the clown (where she was on the bed and art was cutting off her leg) ive never experienced that ever, she shouldve known from All Hallows Eve and the first one for what she was getting into
The last time I felt so traumatized was Johnny Depps character dying in nightmare on elm 🌳 street the bed 🛌 scene 🎬 here is a tear jerker 😢.
I just came here to ask where the rest of the Chucky episode reviews are 👀🤨
I think they shouldn't give us any answers about the supernatural stuff. Once they start explaining too much, it starts allowing the viewers to start nit picking the entire plot. Just my opinion but I feel like it would take away from the mystique of Art. Us not knowing makes people discuss the possibilities more.
One of the best horror films this year
I really need to see this and part 1
Let’s fucking Go baby!
WHOO!
This movie has been my surprise top 5 horror of the year so far. I don't love gore porn movies, but the characters made it worth it. Plus, Art the Clown is right up there with Pearl for my favorite modern horror icon. Probably one spot below Pearl, but it's close as hell.
Enjoyed the review even though I didn’t really enjoy the film. A ton of blood and gore for no reason doesn’t really do it for me anymore
Halloweens never ends yeah!
I worry about my own sanity as I chuckled every time they did something horrible and I still managed to laugh because of Art's mannerisms. Between the eyeball and the bedroom scene, I'm pretty sure I have issues. lol
His mannerism is what makes him. Aside from the ways he kills. He's a solidified iconic slasher
Definitely one of my favorite slashers in a long time. Can't wait for 3, but hoping the supernatural stuff doesn't get too much more hokey than it already has.
Just now watching this and just got to the opening credits and it already seems like it's going to be alot better then the first one lol
Keep it weird. I don’t wanna know. Knowing’s not going to make *any* of this shit any better. “Oh, Art’s this, that, or the other? Oh, okay, now it all makes sense”. There is no making sense of this shit. Keep it weird, baby.
Where is it available to stream?
Screambox! You can order it through Amazon
I kinda liked the dream sequence because I immediately thought of The Mask. A TOMMY GUN!! You think that was an homage?
I dont but I've been wrong before!
Great review, just finished the movie! You’re hilarious 😂😂
Thank you so much!
Terrifier 2 is movie of the year. Best horror film in years. Art the clown has solidified his place as a horror icon.
Maybe she was just cleaning Art's head, instead of eating on it. Kinda like how animals clean their newborns!
I had to leave the room and close my eyes during that scene, and I love gory films
I'm really diggin Mike with these glasses! Kinda hawt! 😉
Also...I'm legit scared to watch this
Who'd of thunk glasses could help! Haha ty. Also you probably should be!
