I just bought this laptop. I got the new version of it. It works well. The display is alright, and as a student who is only using this laptop for casual and note taking purposes, this laptop is great. I got the tilt pen stylus from hp with it, and that works amazingly. Been thinking for weeks about buying this but couldn’t find a thorough review that gave not just the pros but also the cons. Thank you so much for this!!
Hp is great if you have an issue with one of their products purchase online directly from them. They mentioned the screen wasn't the best, then they should have ordered from the website and paid to upgrade the screen. They can only give you such quality components at user friendly costs and if they made all of their laptops with top specs most wouldn't be able to afford them. For the cost, longevity, and customizability I think hp is unparalleled in the PC/laptop prebuilt game.
Have a similar design HP laptop (an Envy model) and the keyboard is great, gotta say. Researching this laptop for my brother right now and I gotta say, if the keys are any similar, they're great for laptop standards. Also watching your temperature tests, it seems they improved this a lot. My version has a 10W MX250 and gets almost painfully hot to the touch, especially if also charging.

It seems that the biggest disadvantage of this machine is the 43wh battery and 45% NTSC screen. ive had a pavilion since 2020, and its been good but the plastic case can not support a long time of flipping between laptop and tablet mode, the case will begin to crack, and once its cracked its near impossible to fix. Also, the fingerprint senser and facial recognition no longer work, and the screen carries a LOT of glare. the speakers are sometimes quiet even at full volume. HDMI cable is great, no usb-c ports though.

I don't recommend this laptop. I have the i7 version. It starts very slowly, 6, 7minutes (since the first day I bought it). The screen is pretty loose, if you grab the laptop a little harder it will go back and forth very easily. It doesn't have a SSD (but that's not the reason for the slow start up, I mean it's too slow even for a clasic hdd). It is not very bright, compared to other laptops, even with maximum illumination. I hate it and it costed me almost 900euros two years ago, at this money I'd expect at list a SSD. DON'T BUY!!
I concur. It’s HP’s worst laptop (HP pavilion 360). I don’t recommend it. It’s slow and functionality is problematic with every use. Many apps can’t be downloaded without an ongoing farce searching for solutions. A waste of time and money.

I'm between a Hp Pavilion with i5 11th and Asus Vivobook with ryzen 5 3500 or 5500. Wich one will be better performance for my needs?
Hi, which one did you end up going for?
how is the fan for this laptop when having a lot of tabs open? loud or pretty normal?
what’s the processor speed?
Battery backup of 7 hours on a regular charge with no scrimping with performance or display? I would like to know how? Mine had been offering not more than 2.5 hours on an average since the day it was bought.
Sound is also problem
I don't recommend this laptop. I have the i7 version. It starts very slowly, 6, 7minutes (since the first day I bought it). The screen is pretty loose, if you grab the laptop a little harder it will go back and forth very easily. It doesn't have a SSD (but that's not the reason for the slow start up, I mean it's too slow even for a clasic hdd). It is not very bright, compared to other laptops, even with maximum illumination. I hate it and it costed me almost 900euros two years ago, at this money I'd expect at list a SSD. DON'T BUY!!
so should I get this or the lenovo ideapad c340/flex 5?
I concur. It’s HP’s worst laptop (HP pavilion 360). I don’t recommend it.
It’s slow and functionality is problematic with every use. Many apps can’t be downloaded without an ongoing farce searching for solutions. A waste of time and money.
Is it good to buy for graphic designing??
Good review!!
Thank you
I really like this laptop but the only thing that was missing was the Model number. I know its a HP Pavilion x360 14m, but whats the model number?
Hiii... I'm planning to buy laptop for me for normal surfing, office work and Netflix..but I'm confused btw acer aspire and hp pavilion... Which one do you suggest will be the best in budget???
Hi. Between this and the 2020 Huawei matebook D15 core i3 which will you recommend?
I heard that this model had heating issues, could you suggest me a best intel laptop under 75K?
Im thinking of getting either this but with intel i7, 16gb ram or the LG gram 14 2:1 with the same specs as mentioned. But I'm not sure if they can support me when i do light solidworks as a student. Could you give some advice? (I've heard that the Dell Inspiron 14 5406 doesn't have good thermal so im not getting that even though its much cheaper)
Lenovo flex 5 is pretty good too
ive used a pavilion for solidworks for 3 years, itll do the job. HP has good software and great processing power, but they make it out of cheap materials, so be very gentle
Would you recommend for property students
Would this be a good laptop for a college student?
It can be.
can you use 2 monitors with this laptop?
Are you able to output through HDMI and the USB-C (DisplayPort) at the same time? I'm looking to replace a desktop with this laptop and 2 monitors are what I'll be using.
I just bought this laptop for £75, the screen has a crack but it’s fully functional
Is it good for gaming?
I am staying in Switzerland and i want to buy HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-dy0957nz (14", Intel Core i7, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD)
Is it good laptop?
Screen touch or without touchscreen, which one is better??
Hi sir pls let me know is this laptop good for taking online classes.
Is there HEATING problem ?
Does it has perfect palm rejection feature ??
Can we edit my recorded classes easily
Pls reply ..
I don’t recommend it. Buy something from Apple if you can.
I think he said it was good on temperature though not really sure how that compares to other laptops.
can you write with the pen with your palm touching the screen? I am looking at this for a college student to take notes with.
Yes you can with the x360 series. (In Tablet mode)
How bad is the screen? Is it worse than Lenovo Thinkpad or Idea-pad entry models that have IPS?
Is this computer good for Engineering softwares or Archtectural softwares ? (Ex: Autocad, Lumio,Civil 3D,sketchup...)...please tell me...
up
Mine didn’t come with a stylus? Was it a bundle deal or did you purchase that separately?
I believe it may vary by region/country.
Which would you say is better ? : This laptop or Microsoft Surface laptop 4 ?
This is a 2 in 1. The surface laptop 4 is a more traditional machine. Depends on your needs i'd say.
@@SoulOfTech thank you …. I’m a 1st year business student that’s required to have a laptop …and I just found out all textbooks will be digital downloads. A store employee told me that the Surface’s 256 storage is not enough storage so he pointed me to this laptop instead . However , I’m seeing a lot more negative reviews on this one vs the surface and I’m not sure which I should choose or which is a better quality laptop for me .
@@SoulOfTech apologies , this is not the x360 they printed me too … it was the i7 , x360 , 16GB , 1TB one .
Is this good for a graphic designer.
For starters you need at least a 1050ti graphics card or even better than that
Go for HP pavilion gaming 1650ti variant
@@minecraftanimator8718 not necessary graphics design uses 60% cpu and 40%gpu
The cpu should be prioritised
@@minecraftanimator8718 tnx
I bought it the Core i5 11th gen model, you need to buy pen from outside, you won't get it in box
Hi it depends on the region you are in the North American versions have a pen in the box.

is the RAM upgradeable whitout breaking the warranty?
I believe it is! I learned about it in Walmart when I asked for Tech assistance, and as well Best Buy says it’s expandable. I don’t know about Warranty though.
Does it come with the pen included? And if it does where is it stored
HI mine did.
Can you upgrade the ram and or the storage?
Would love be a feedback.. questions where does this 2in 1pavilion laptop rank among the best processors in the current market ? Mine is performing very well but I wanna test it with speed abs efficiency with games and content creating
Do you think the hinges will last through constant folding over the long run?
Id like to think so. My only advice is to be gentle when flipping the device. It can add months if not years to the life span of the hinge.
What stylus do you recommend for that specific laptop?
It comes with a pen
Is this one is good for university work??
hi! i have a question😅would u recommend the hp 14 4th gen ryzen 5 5500u or the lenovo ideapad flex 5 11th gen intel core i3 for students and light gaming?
FOLLOWING!
The 11th gen Intel provides a better gaming experience thanks to Iris XE chipset but the Ryzen 5500u will give you bettee battery life.
Is it good for programming
After reading some comments, I suggest not to use laptops that were not created for gaming to gaming a while, because the resources for gaming are so requiring and some laptops do not meet those expectations, I use a hp laptop old generation and work well yet, I use for web developent and video edition and I haven't had any issues. I will have one of this video model laptop with 1tb ssd and a 16gb ram memory and more resources that meets my expectations for my business as I need tactile screen for graphic designing but I'm not gioing to use for gaming because I know, the keyboard damages fast.
tysm im getting this laptop for my 8th grade year
Same here 😂 it was on special
I hope you have time to return it bc I found it so problematic.
I don't know why I'm watching this in my new same model laptop...

What is your experience with this laptop? Is it good enough for a programmer? Should I buy it?

Hi can anyone tell me what the handwriting experience is like? Digital note taking will be one my main uses for this device.

But the the laptop has not turned off as fan is running . I checked your review of this laptop and wondering if it does this or how do i turn it off while it's running on shut down.
