I kept trying to fry this fish for some years and failed woefully. I bought it last week after 2 years to see if i could succeed. I want to fry it now but thought to research oon youtube first the best way to achieve that. your video gave me all the answer i need. i got it right for the first time. Thanks for sharing, new subscriber here.
I would season that fish with salt and pepper and maybe some lemon pepper or garlic /onion seasoning (based on your personal preference) before baking , and then frying!
The finished product looks so yummy, thanks for sharing. Trying your bake-fry method today. Just bought the frying sieve thingy too.. Will update soon. Wish me godspeed. 😎
I love cooking fish but i always roast it. I like your idea of grilling first then fry it is a good idea. Best of both worlds. You learn every day. Keep it up nice video
Thanks for sharing dear! But why is the oil dark? Was it used before? If thats the caisse For we don't keep used oil for the next prepation. Otherwise your fish le appetising! Be blessed!
Excellent video. Question for you, How do you store the oil after using? I assume you use the oil more than one occasion? Do you filter the oil first? And how many times can you reuse the oil please? Thanks
I use to use it for about 3-4weeks. Store in the fridge most times. Now, I haven’t deep fried my fish in a while. I will iA film an updated video to show that 🤎
New subscribe for you I love this fish so much we don't eat in my county I ate in Europe with a Nigerian friend since then I fell in love with this fish 💗😘🙏
Mary David why would you say that here? Looks like you clicked on the wrong video! Please go away if its not want you want and leave someone who is sharing something for those who are happy to learn her method
I hope you enjoy this video guys, please LIKE & SUBSCRIBE & leave me NICE COMMENTS below. How do you season & prepare you fish?? Please share below Thanks for your continual support Loves
Where did you buy that fish from. I've been looking for it. Since I moved to Los Angeles from Florida I have not find a store here that sells it. I used to buy it from an Asian store in Orlando.
Yes, i also think the fish was butchered in that reuse oil, but every culture have their own ways of preparing certain types of meat. Plus, at the end of the video, she did rehydrated in some fish stew or soup.
Hake is tasteless and has no flavor, you should try sea bass, grouper, barracuda or pomfret which is also called butterfish, these are some of the most flavorful fish that can be found in the Atlantic
I suspect you are from the Islands or the States heh? We Afrikans only use lime on slimy fish like catfish and other river fish or snails. Using lime and lemon on every type of fish is actually a Western culinary adaptation. All we do is wash our fish with coarse sea salt and clean water. We know you westerners like to eat fish yet complain about its fishy taste and we think that's nonsense, but if we are cooking for you as a guest and you insist on the lime we shall honour your presence and use it. Lime is however, more useful for washing ladies private parts and armpits, try it you'll like it, and please stop criticizing us because we've been cooking and eating fish before all the other races emerged.
Those who didn't like this video are just jealous house wives who don't know how to cook like Kenny :)

I just got this fish for my family, luckily I bought bags of them cut into steaks but I love the simple seasoning definitely going to try this.

I learned new things: using scissors to trim the fins and grilling a bit first to drain through water. Thank you. ❤
Thanks, highly impressed with your method. I am exceedily glad for watching.
You don’t need to pre cook fish before cooking, as over cooking fish courses it to be rubbers n dried
So u can straight start frying it after seasoning?
yes @@hardworker1503
The fish is whole withning. It is good for frying and baking. The bone is thin and soft

Maybe the size of your fish was small and you did let the water drain out properly in the oven.
I haven't seen this method before
It’s the method I accidentally discovered that has been working for me 😁😁
And can add flour if not add to stew and fry them

Bonjour,le nom de la poudre marron en français s'il vous plait?merci
C’est juste un mélange d’épices /d’assaisonnement qu’on trouve ici aux US. Mélanger plusieurs épices que vous aimez et ça fera l’affaire
