    I'm not sure "Knowing me, knowing you" was an idiomatic expression before the ABBA song. I expect it's just because ABBA's wanted something poetic to fit the tune. They aren't English and hadn't seen this video, so went with that.
    The OED has "To be familiar with the habits, preferences, behaviour, etc., of (a person). Chiefly in introductory or parenthetical statements, as you know me, knowing you, etc." as it's 11th meaning of the word know, but the examples it lists are both "you know me", not "knowing".
    A bit like another Swedish pop song "All that she wants is another baby", which is supposed to mean "boyfriend", like in every other pop song, but to an English person clearly means she wants to have another child.
