    All cutters have a spinning disc, if you put a decent disc on it it's gonna cut the same on the cheapest as on the most expensive only difference is the person's technique & the outside fence or size of the platform. You can try with the tile face down for neater cuts aswell.

    Thanks for this video. I bought this to use for a backsplash install in two properties and it worked well. The instructions it comes with are crap and your quick breakdown for set-up was very helpful. I will say that you need to take your time with cuts, I installed 3x6 beveled subway tiles and practiced with a couple of them before make the real cuts to be installed. Bought a separated diamond blade for the cuts. Also, make sure that you wipe down the cutting surface around the blade, do not let the debris collect. I also used the saw to cut the metal trim for the tile, worked well for this. Nifty table saw for the price, not too loud, but I recommend still wearing ear protection. I actually used it right in the bathroom, minimal spray from the water when cutting. Just put a big rug underneath the area , not a huge mess.

    My experience with cheap tile saws is that the fence doesn’t hold adjustment very well, it’s hard to get a square cut every time. But, for $65 it’s hard to complain. Enjoy all your reviews, great job.

    • @LandbergTileTV
      @LandbergTileTV  6 лет назад

      I totally agree and this fence is the same, but you're right about not complaining for a $65 saw 👊

    I have this saw, it’s fantastic! Well worth the price! Used it to do a new ceramic floor and subway tile in my kitchen, no problems.
    Don’t use the ruler on the saw, it’s not really square or accurate, just mark your tile and use that to set the guide. It’s not loud and it’s doesn’t vibrate, it’s perfect for small jobs or just working around home. Obviously not a pro tool, but for the average DIY guy, it’s gold.

    I end up using this saw more than the $1000 ones I have . It's just so small and easy to fill .I've even cut crazy angles on a 24x24 with it. All these table saws are basically the same, you don't need the fence on any of them just mark a line and follow it.

  • @dalesworld1308

    I won't be the math geek but 3/5 is not more than 3/4. I have a teeny QEP like this, older model. It works good for dropping a tile over the blade for a plunge cut. It's all in the blade anyway.

  • @lallu316
    @lallu316 3 года назад +3

    How much of the quality of the cut can be attributed to the quality of the blade itself? Could it be that a better blade would've made for cleaner cuts?
