I think this movie is above average, but the thing that stands out to me is it's atmosphere. Man, I think it's creepier than many of it's brethren. :-)
Oh god I love Terror Train. I was in the city and found it for super cheap like $3 so I bought it, watched it when I got home and enjoyed the fucking fuck out of it! Seen it heaps, I'm so in love with Jamie Lee-Curtis! Plus Ben Johnson is awesome and his character is so fucking fantastic!
Okay so I just watched this a few days ago and found it very average. Jamie Lee Curtis was of course awesome in this as always. And other than the 3rd act it was a very lack luster movie. The killer should have kept the Grocho mask. I didn't like the random 10minute magic show just because they got David Copperfield in the movie. The Whodunit aspect was pretty useless as it was obvious who the killer was. I actually liked the conductor as well. I was actually waiting for him to die but he seemed to always be a step ahead of everything and was figuring stuff out quite quickly. I loved his death as well. I actually thought they were maybe setting up a sequel as though he hit hard as hell it was in the snow and he was gonna float down the water and move or something as it panned on him and watched him float for a bit lol. And on snap this was the birth of slasher sunday! haha. Another great review Jason :3.
Decent, well made slasher fare, but for me a major problem was this trying so hard to be a mystery, but the killer's identity being so obvious. Have you ever seen Night Train To Terror?
Excellent review. Creepy atmosphere.
