Mini 2t22 siren update

- Just a quick video of what all i have done to it. Mostly just 3d printed the rest of the parts and another run up.

I like how it actually has working rotors and doesnt use speakers to produce the sound, it really is a mini version!
Only 12 years old autistic kids does the speakers mini sirens haha

Sounds like the old 2t22 on a neighboring town's fire station. Pretty sure the last time it went off was for a major recycling plant fire.
Sounded pretty close to the one in my town, the winddown is so slow and you can hear it across town even at 100-200rpm

I wonder where did you get these cones and the flat cone the one on top and also the two chopper motors where did you get all that from? I wished they can make a real mini plastic sirens like this one instead I did with paper. Where did you get all plastic siren peaces?
I designed it in fusion 360 (3d modeling software) and then printed out the plastic parts on my 3d printer. As for the motor it is a dual shafted motor that I got from amazon.
The RPM of the real thing is 3400 RPM

@@exofriend4895 I am now a full time aircraft mechanic working 55+ hours a week plus other stuff going on in my life. I don't have much time to watch RUclips and even less to go back and reply to every comment I get. For example, It took me 5 days to see yours. Its not a matter of being nice or not I just simply do not have the time right now.

That’s great! Is it 3D printed? Also that seems to be the exact same RPM/pitch as a real 3T22. Does it have working dampers?
It is 3d printed. Its a 2t22 so it dose not have the dampers. Although I have acquired two small solenoids so I may try to make it into a 3t22 with dampers at some point.

I already test the motor to 27 vdc use a vfd start and hole thing explode at 9087 rpm

try and make it into a 3T22 by adding dampers u could use magnets to move it wont be as strong but it should make functional dampers
The solenoids he bought were too large for the scale, plus he wanted to keep it as a 2t22 for simplicity.

I was thinking of trying that at some point. Don't know when though.
@@ExmarkDude ok well u could also use a tiny electric moter for the dampers it would be simpler but u might have to gear it down so it doesnt burn the moter
edit: not gearing it down might make the moter not have enough torgue to turn the dampers witch would burn it out if u gear a small moter down it will have more then enough torgue but will be slower to move so dont gear it down too much that is if u use an elctric moter to move the dampers instead of solenoids

@@adamssirenadventures6574 Unfortunately same story for thunderbolt project I got the chopper part done and then kinda stalled on it. I do have a few videos on it though! I'm away from home for school right now so I don't have the free time anymore.

Yes, the only part the is not 3d printed is the motor.
