I've decided to create a universal folder for all FEX remasters, so every remaster now has the same link! mega.nz/folder/sRxHULRR#GXi19Qc8fGO-Iipk6kpjEA Talking Hands: ruclips.net/video/Ieb45Oy-Tpg/видео.html Edit: I'm trying to get at least another mirror so everyone can get the files, hold on.
@@legionblox they said theyre gonna at least re-record the song somewhere on reddit. also people in their 60s still make music so hopefully we get at least the older stuff
This is insane. This is like the Beatles situation and finding a whole new song that is authentically from the 80s! Not just a new song replicating the 80s. Awesome!
it gives me ÿesterday" vibes... maybe there is a parallel world where FEX is a popular band that made it like Joy division, The Cure, New Order... etc and in our timeline it never happened. Only a couple guys are like "yeah i know this band!"
With how many bangers these guys had, I'm surprised the search for them went on as long as it did. Glad they're finally getting the recognition they deserve now! FEX is absolutely one of music's should-have-beens.
One thing we really should take away from this: Listen to your small local artists. You never know which diamonds lay dormant out there. Additionally: Giving them airtime and exposure is so important.
I know, right? Especially "Subways of Your Mind" checks out every point of a successful hit song definition. Yet it wasn't successful at the time. I have no idea why.
We dont know exactly what was happening at their time. It could be different reasons like marketing, timing, label support, and public taste. Of course the songs are fire but it could just be too good for their times If i wrote something stupid then im sorry, im writing this tired at 12 am before going to bed
@@legionblox To me it seems like they were a really popular local band, so maybe they never got a chance internationally. This comes from nothing, just my brain, so take it with a gallon of salt.

FEX would've rocked on so many 80s movie soundtracks. Just imagine this having played in Technoir when the T-800 was about to draw a bead on Sarah Connor...seriously, the fact that the band is getting recognized (again) now is just awesome.
No, only changed the speed and pitch. I wasn't aware of Capstan however its really expensive, I might give it a try with Talking Hands when I get the time. Thanks.
@@reduxflakes I think they are talking about the version that they played in the 80's as you can find it on youtube.. no idea where it was originally uploaded though
@@SMPandanic Oh I know what version it is, I got other people telling me to remaster that one was well (including the other song Jenny). I'll add it to the list, thanks!

You now have to do "Jenny", The fourth FEX song discovered.
Much appreciated id love to play with these mixes, fucking song is amazing
We were looking for gold in the form of "Subways of your mind", and we found a diamond in the form of this:
Correct

I love how this sounds exactly like it's coming out of a boombox. This is one of the most 80s things I've ever heard and it's great 😊

Sadly not on Spotify.
I listened to a lot of old new wave stuff that never saw the light of day and no joke...FEX has the biggest list of songs that should have been hits.
@@LazloNQBut these guys have made like 5 songs
My current favorite FEX song ♥️⚠️
I really dig the retro synthesized sound of it, the classic drum fills, and groovy bassline. The guitar solo is the icing on the cake.
Mine too
This song is so repetitive yet absolutely addictive. I hope fex release a whole album of their old stuff including this cause its so good
What an amazing band from the 80s. I’m so glad they are getting the recognition they deserve now.
We need fex on streaming platforms

Having a listen over breakfast this morning. Great tune!
You gotta love that J. Geils Band "Centerfold" style fake out ending.
also love the Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight" drum roll a few times throughout the song.
@@PunishedArkham yes true
How did they not become hugely popular in the 80s?? Imagine a timeline where FEX would've been as big as Alphaville, absolutely plausible.

It's now uploaded!
This band’s entire list of songs are now coming out since that one song was identified.
finally the other songs getting the love they deserve
It's giving 80s high school montage movie scene vibes, or something the two dudes from Weird Science would rock out to lol, I love it
A another underrated song. Nice work.

Wow This Is The Best FEX Song We Found With “Subways Of Your Mind” In My Opinion
I’m Obsessed With The Instrument Combo And Sound
Hearing this is like falling back in time.
sounds like the music that plays on a really great trip
This is my favorite FEX song.
So many good songs by Fex!!
I didn't really like this song from the first version I heard. But this remaster has changed my mind.
ill be honest, i think this is better than subways of your mind
Good song, very '80s. 🙂

Good work bro
Thanks
Can’t wait for Talking Heads
It's now up on the channel.
I prey the band gets back together. 2025 is going to be fire.
You did an excellent job with this! From one audio engineer to another. *slow clap*
man this song would have been a banger in Gta Vice city.
Wish it will come in gta 6 as like a song in radio
Excellent vibes!!! 👍
YESSSSSS THANK YOU SO MUCHHHH
That's so good amazing work bro
I could see this being used in dragon ball z
they have david bowie vibes in the berlin triology in this song , i love it
It's really a band I would have love to grown with in the eighties, the could have been awesome and it's better late than never.
Simple. Und der Song spricht zu mir. So fühlte ich mich damals. Herz in Gefahr!
Thank you very much
Masterpiece
Finally !
Talking hands for next!
Thank you 🙏🙏🙏
Just proving that some of the best bands never even got a rcord contract. A&R were and still are so fickle.
Amazing!
Talking Hands would be sick to hear!
The ending goes hard
This sounds like a soundtrack that should have played in Crocodile Dundee.
great
Sounds like XTC
Can't wait for taking Heads and Jenny
besty!
Nice
Wow :000
Are you using something like Capstan for the best tape flutter stabilization? It fixes micro-flutter.

Does Fex have an official site , or channel ?
An official channel yes, official site no. And they've just started the channel.
