We didn't just get the origin of the most mysterious song, we got a whole dang album. If we had all these songs it probably would have been a bit easier to find FEX. The Most Mysterious Album on the internet...
This will probably be the best year for the lost wave community, this year they have found several lost songs and the year is not over yet and they could find another song
@@henrykelso7349For example, I upload songs that are considered lostwave because They are incomplete and only exist on VHS or cassettes and are made unknown artists. (demos etc) in some cases all the information about the songs is known but the songs are incomplete or no longer exist
I’m hyping “Subways Of Your Mind” up at work because this song…heck, this ENTIRE ALBUM deserves to become 2024’s newest hit! 😍 Imagine a 40 year old band being able to gain an international audience in 2024…can we make this happen? 🥰

@@christopheralthouse6378 I'm sorry if my comment made you think that l was the one that found the collection. It wasn't me, but some reddit fellow found it via Discogs and then bought it on an auction. The collection is called Zeus Top Hits released in 1985.
If he'd done that, more likely the song wouldn't be a mystery and thus remained obscure in Darius' collection forever. None of us would know about it today.
@@andyw_uk74 No, actually the opposite--The world would know about FEX right then and there, rather than having to scour the depths of the internet and find them
@@Decopunk1927 I guess I concede--However, I *DO* feel that: A) If Darius S. had let the radio announce that this is FEX, the whole internet would not have to track them down for nearly decades B) Or, if FEX came forward and provided their tape and told Darius S. that this is their song, the case would be solved and they would have a cult-like following
@@Thunderlion-yd4nv Brother, your feelings are objectively wrong. I really don't mean to offend you, just stating a fact. The song and the band wouldn't have garnered such a cult following if people weren't vehemently searching for it for the best part of the last two decades. It is a great song, but let's be honest, FEX existed for two years in the 80s, played one festival, sold about 100 tapes and was played on the radio once. People forgot about them for a reason.
There are 5 songs in the video but in the interview one of the band members mentioned the existence of the sixth song, which name is unknown... looks like the show goes on!

When a song is found along with its authors and singers, it is no longer called 'lostwave'

Very hard task. Even more when you know that finnaly, Subway's of your minds was their worst song ^^
Its disappointing and exciting at the same time.

Very good material by Fex!!!!
If FEX post the 6th song they reported in the interview, then I will release the 2nd part. (maybe)
Fex might be the most obscure band in the world
