Ok wow so get this. This is the demo version of the song. The version we all came to know and love was a 1/4 master broadcast on the radio and the original tapes may be lost! I think it's kind of a miracle the recording was made because that song SLAPS and TBH this demo version doesn't hit nearly as hard. It probably never would have gone viral the way the broadcast version did. Big thanks to Lydia and Darius S for preserving a masterpiece.
To make the music of these guys even more popular, Rockstar games can include at least one track in the repertoire of their game, the time period of the game’s plot just allows this 😏

I denied and said "Yeah. It was aired on a german radio broadcast... but it sounds more like a british New Wave / Post Punk Band." Tataa... it's german 😄
That probably wasn't on the EP tape that was sent. Must have been on another tape. Now that we know the band in question, we can dig deeper. What I'm interested in is if they're actually going to release a proper album with all of their old music remastered. The old radio version of Subways of Your Mind might be a bonus track. Not gonna lie, I would definitely like to have that vynil at home.
@LostwaveObsession Hello again. I realized I had the song Jenny by FEX on a vinyl LP (i.e., the ZEUS Top Hits album). So, I used hardware an software to take the analog source and convert it to digital format. I used a plus deck ex, a laptop, and Audacity software. I did the same for the FEX EP, the live at Paderborn cut, and migalfred's instrumental version of Subways Of your mind which are all online. Then I took all those songs and did noise removal, individual track amplification (i.e., gain or volume), normalization, and finally an 8 db base boost. Did it in that order. And I've been playing all those cuts through my hi-fi stack for a couple of hours now. It's like they're here jamming here. Cheers
