*I have a saying “messy house means a messy mind”*
Last year I was was staying in a broken down house with 6 strange (and much older) men I didn’t know, in a room filled with 4 + recent tenants crap everywhere, at the end we were all kicked out during the pandemic meaning I was going to be homeless and I went through a really sad breakup, lost my job and found out I had to rehome my rescue cats that I’ve had for 5 years (this all happened in one week and during covid btw), in my last month in that crap hole I got so depressed I stopped caring for myself and my big room ended up like a bomb went off, I had no care anymore I was just waiting to die, the men that lived there made me so uncomfortable and miserable I’d rather leave my rubbish piled up in my room rather than leave my room. I watch these with a new perspective now. I know how they feel, maybe not this intensely but similar.
If you’re curious I now have a lovely home and a beautiful bedroom and my two rescue kitties are with me and I didn’t end up losing them because I worked my ass off to make sure I had my fur babies with me and life is getting better!
i’m so sorry you went through that, i can imagine how grateful you feel for your current comfort, as we all should! you deserve the peace, i’m glad you have it and hope it’s only up from here
Bless you and your kitties! All the best 👍🙏
I went through a couple years of living by myself, hardly making ends meet, and struggling with rent just to make sure my 3 cats had a roof over their head, clean litter box, and food to eat every day. That was about 6 years ago. I have such a big heart for them. I couldn’t give them up, they are my babies and my support system ❤️ Without them I could have moved in with some friends and saved myself a lot of money & trouble. I’m so glad I stuck to guns and kept them with me. You can’t put a price on love like that!!
That must have taken so much dedication, good for you!!
Good for u mate 🙂 hope your life is forever beautiful ❤️
How on earth does the local authority allow or overlook these vulnerable people, this is one of the saddest stories I have seen for a long while.
Exactly!
How are they ment to become aware of the case if no one tells them
They aren't psychic dude. Unless someone tells them, they won't know.
You realize these people CLOSE THEMSELVES IN right? And nobody has the right to just MARCH IN and inspect the place. Except maybe a landlord, but even then.... I have seen some USELESS people who are meant to check on people with mental problems. I had beer in the fridge of a bipolar guy I knew. He had an inspection by this BRAINLESS young government tart. She opened the fridge and saw the beer. There was NO FOOD in the house. Nothing else in the fridge, nothing in the cupboards ONLY 1 JAR of coffee. The stupid bitches report read "Everything fine except he drinks too much beer". There wasn't ONE open bottle around or even in his bin. She never saw him drinking or smelt anything on him because I had been elsewhere and someone dropped me off at his place where I had left my car.
They won’t see a problem until you stop paying your taxes
2:37 the fact that she doesn’t know that there is a spider crawling on her-
Lol, i was laughing-

As a child of hoarders, I want everyone to know that what these women are doing is an EXTREME act of compassion and can heal in ways people who haven't experienced it can't understand.
What are you talking about? It’s their job to do this. Like any other
they did THIS in 4 days and i can’t even clean my room in a week-
Lmao so true tho
my mother think i can do this in 5 days but i am not even a professional
@@eeeithan6588 you don't need to be a professional to clean your own room. it's a habit everyone should get into
@@cringe4021 no i said the house in the video
I think it’s a lot easier to clean someone else’s stuff because there’s no sentimental value to anything for you. I hold sentimental value for the dumbest things that other people would definitely throw away if they had to clean my room for whatever reason. Not to mention things that you’re trying to avoid. In this case, it was the bedroom for the lady. In my case, it’s the corner of my room and under my bed because that’s where my cat spent a lot of time before she passed away. Those areas being touched bothers me so much bc i don’t want them getting dirty, and they weren’t even her favorite spots until she got sick. I just hold sentimental value to those areas because that’s where she always felt safe
And this is why we should be more respectful and caring with our cleaners/helpers.
Absolutely 👍 Pastellerie
A true profession!
Thanks !! I am Cleaner :..)
Bless you all!
and also our parents or elders too.. i know in some western society... the elderly somewhat dont experience the care from its daughters/sons like those in Asia..
Absolutely heartbreaking. This woman was clearly abandoned by her family. Given no help and no love. I can't believe this.
totesm8 it’s so incredibly sad. Or she has no family. No kids..
It's so incredibly sad. When my grandfather died we redecorated my grandmas trailer so it looks really pretty and modern now, and we do things with her a lot more often so she doesn't get lonely. The first week after he passed she came over every night for dinner and we will always welcome her with open arms.
Thanks to these professional, caring cleaners they have changed the elder's wellbeing.
That doesn’t mean she was abandoned by her family
Or not accepting help. Because accepting help means you have to acknowledge it and thats the hardest part. She couldnt even cope with sleeping in that room without her huisband...
Honestly this is completely heartbreaking. The fact that she has been living like this is SO upsetting. Depression is such a hard thing to deal with and the fact that she was probably doing this alone is soul destroying. By the sound of it she doesn’t have a single person to help her in any way shape or form and is completely isolated. These women are wonderful for doing what they do. It probably means the world to this lady and honestly if this doesn’t make me more grateful for what I have then nothing will! I really hope this lady gets the help, support and more importantly the company that she clearly so desperately needs!!
And she's elderly, we don't know.if she has arthritis,.or heart problems, or something else that restricts her mobility and her ability to keep up with house chores.
plus, elderly people have to live on less money than 10 or 20 years ago when pensions were a bit higher. She probably couldn't afford stuff and had to make do with the things she's owned for decades, even if they're broken. There's a lot more old people searching through trash cans and collecting recycles to earn a little bit of money nowadays. It's very sad people worked all their life, paid taxes and raised children just to end up like this and speaks about where societies even in so called 'rich' countries are headed to :(
@@christinebutler7630 I am old and have serious disabilities but still manage to keep atop pf the house, as I am not depressed or in grief. At one stage I DID let things go and vowed NEVER AGAIN.

I do love how passionate they are about their jobs, It's all about the satisfaction and reaction of the people they're cleaning for and the transformation. A clean home doesn't just change the house it changes their mindset and health for the better but that's definitely more than 9 years of neglect.

@@helenwood1000 You are right up to a point, that point being it is not clear in the video if she was offered any help in the first place. That _has_ to be longer than 9 years. The mattress was literally disintegrating, thats surely a few decades of damage?
Probably more then 16 years tbh
Totally agree,I understand where the lady is coming from though where she don’t want to go in her bedroom :(
Well the house had an abnormal humidity, it may have accelerated the desintegration process...
I agree, this was recorded in 2015 approx? The milk was supposed to caducate on 2001 the woman left the house for 9 years 2001+9= 2010. Where are the other years at? I’m pretty sure it has been for more years.

Wow I was honestly crying when she said her husband passed away and she stays with her dog to keeps her warm🥺

Heartbreaking
@D H it was only her excuse for not having been in the bedroom, it wasn't an excuse for the rest of the property.
It's the poor dog I feel sorry for,! I can't imagine wot it must be like for the poor animal!!
@D H I don't think you've experienced true existential depression. She's probably wishing she would die too to be with her husband. That's unbelievable depression. She's completely given up. There's a reason elderly widowers don't live long after their spouse passes. It's devastating for them.
On another note: I want to live in the UK and be called darling and sweetheart :(

I wish I could have seen the woman’s reaction, I’d probably cry.
What makes me sad is that she had no one, so there was no one to help sooner.
Some elderly R introverts or have caused issues with their neighbors that nobody wants to deal with them but if she is a nice lady I would do what I could to help her. Some also die with millions of dollars but refuse to pay the plumber or gardener.......There is an elderly person in the previous area I lived who was notorious for not paying handymen that he lives in a half-built home because he gets carpenters in and then doesn't want to pay for the work.

That poor woman needs a mental health intervention.
Mskatay Mskatay yes yes yes this
She's an elderly lady without anyone to help her. It's not her mental health that needs assessing, she needs to go into a home
I think a clean home is the only "mental health intervention" she needed. She's ready for it. She has, on her own, gotten out of her deep depression and doesn't want to live like that anymore. We know this because she asked for outside help from the sisters.
Vince I Totally Agree. Why Would the Dear Lady be Depressed when She Comes Back, It Will be a New Lease of Life For Her. Her and Her Pet Can be Comfortable In their Home. God Bless these two Dear Ladies, With their Loving Hearts.
Things get to be in an overwhelming condition, and too much for someone of her age who is likely depressed over the death of her husband. At least she realized that something had to be done. It would be nice if she had caring neighbours or family to help her with things.
These ladies must have some kind of super immune system. God bless them. They really do amazing work.
This poor lady was so devastated over her husbands loss... that made my heart ache... I hope she got therapy or something or at least feels better today
Absolutely! I’m really anxious that she’s just going to let things degrade again. It’s easy to keep things up at first, but as soon as u accumulate a little bit of stuff, somewhere, depressed people will lose all the motivation they had, and things will go right in the same direction. Not that it’s their responsibility, but I would love to know that the 2 women checked in on the old woman at some point, to see how she was holding up
These two woman are just amazing, what an impressive work
These ladies really have empathy and love people.

Too bad the home opener doesn’t have a shred of empathy for the poor animals she’s subjecting to this filth. They’re probably sick and suffering under her care

These women are angels .. I would still feel scared to venture in .. I would be standing outside .. even after the clean but respect for these women
Seeing this makes me want to get a job helping seniors in need for any help they need. How sad 😢
You want to until you do it for a second and they're so ungrateful and complain the whole time about how you're doing everything wrong and how evil you are for being young.
So now the tenant has clean mold! After nine years I'd imagine the walls would be impregnated with mold which would need specialist treatment, it's not simply a case of painting the walls. For all the fantastic work the sisters did the flat still needs some serious work carried out on it.
Yes! I thought the same.. the walls look actually like they need a re-fresh too
If the toilet has been repaired, assuming that was the source of all the moisture, hopefully the mold won’t resurface. Though I don’t disagree with you.
Yep, the whole thing needs to be gutted, the foundation and weight bearing walls need to be inspected and fixed if needing fixing. Not sure why they didn't do this since the contents of the house literally disintegrated.
Yes thought the same..needs completely gutting tbh..damp will be there still, which will just come back and fully redecorated..I think this was to bigger job for just these two ladies and although their cleaning is amazing, someone needs to be helping this lady more..

I'm really grateful i stumbled upon this video bc it made me realize how much i really have in lafe and be more thankful.
I don't trust that three days can clean 9 years of dirt. the mold has to be in the walls themselves, this isn't safe to live in yet.
They haven't shown the parts where they get people in to treat the walls etc and the leak in the bathroom, also they haven't shown help they've received such as the new furniture etc, it must be so rewarding doing this type of job, no amount of money could pay for that level of satisfaction - it would have been nice to see the old lady's reaction too, maybe she didn't want to be identified.
I’d say give it an entire week and just completely fumigate it T W I C E
