My sub stopped working a few weeks ago, I I cant figure out why. I swapped the rv wires for the sub to the speaker input on the amp and then all the audio started comming out the sub (proving that the amp and sub works) I then went to the back of the pioneer stereo (featured in this vid) and then swapped the rv wires again and the audio started comming out of the speakers again but still no sub, proving that all the wiring is still working, so it's just a problem with the stereo outputting signal through the sub output. I have messed around with all these setting and nothing will make it work, does anyone have any ideas?
Please be sure you have the subwoofer output switched on. You can see that here: ruclips.net/video/HTJ07fk4Grs/видео.html For a test, I recommend to switch the subwoofer crossover off. You can see that here: ruclips.net/video/HTJ07fk4Grs/видео.html&t=205 If this test does not change anything I recommend to do a microprocessor reset of the Pioneer FH-X731BT. The microprocessor reset button is on the face of the radio on the bottom right just below the USB port. You'll need a paperclip or some other small point to press the microprocessor reset button. After that I recommend to do a system reset. You can see that here: ruclips.net/video/Aj8JItUGMPw/видео.html After you're done with this you'll need to go back and reconfigure the system outputs for Network Mode or Standard Mode. @@lisawalls1007 Is it possible, you've hit the "mute" button on the wireless remote control? I recommend to press the SRC button until you see the FM radio on the display screen. Use the keys to Tune in a strong radio station and adjust the volume with the large central volume control to about level 15-20. If you're not hearing any sound it's possible the vehicle's speakers have failed, or the in-dash receiver's built-in amplifier has failed.
